People are always telling him he’s lucky and he always replies “I just know how to make good decisions.” I have always thought he is completely in the flow of his life and somehow is always in the right place at the right time. Its kinda beautiful to watch. It’s funny though, he gets offended sometimes when people say he’s lucky. I think it’s because he gives everything he’s got to what he’s working towards. I appreciate your videos, Elson 😊 I guess I don't see things as good or bad. It's all just learning and growing opportunities. There are a lot of things in my own life that others have seen as bad luck but from my own perspective, I've never seen as bad luck. Years ago, I got sick from a rare illness. I didn't really see that as bad luck. I saw myself as fortunate for having friends, family and support to help me through it. Also, I agree that the gut-brain connection is very important. It's believed that poor gut health even leads to depression and other mental illnesses. I wish that can be studied further instead of the immediate urge to medicate people with pills that disrupts/numbs their neurotransmitters. Thank you for following your bliss and creating these thoughtful videos for us ☘️
That's a wonderful perspective. In Richard Wiseman's book he describes some interviews he had with people who described themselves as 'lucky' and many of them had a similar perspective to yours. @@ModernIntuitionist I experienced another synchronicity Elson. I was at a friend's place yesterday and she had a show on TV about hummingbirds in Costa Rica. still searching for my bliss, but I think I'm getting closer, now I don't drink as much or do drugs. I thought I was on the right track by focusing on university, I am about to go for the second time, but after watching this my heart has been swayed. Is it my laziness or do I just not have the passion for it. Everyone has to work to make a living and how do you find your passion with full time work, it completly drains you. University feels like a good option to explore things even though it will be hard. How do I fix the mindset where I am completly obssesed with one subject for a while then I lose interest and another hobby/interest peaks my curiosity and excitement and I want to drop everything for that new idea. This has been the story of my life but I don't know how to work with it or change it. Does anyone else experience something similar?
Yes! I've been told is add by pretty much anyone that knows me, and as usual I procrastinated going to therapy to focus on all other random interesting things in life that I never really master it. But eventually I decided to medidate a little bit every single day, and I have no idea wth I'm doing still but one time I think I reached a 'level' in meditation I stopped being anxious about life for a good while, and just paid attention to what >I< truly wanted, never mind what people say, my parents say, my friends say, I just listened to my own inner voice, and I swear it pretty much screamed at me 'animals, you love animals you fool'. So I was like 'aight, whatever I'm gonna do from now on is with animals' well being on my mind... what can I do to help them?' And I started to just think about ALL sort of things I could do that didn't include going back to college cus I loathe it, I feel completely emprisoned in all senses when I'm back to it (I dropped out of 4 - is free in my country if you have good scores), and in the end I realized I liked marketing because I could help any business ever, have freedom, a good salary, is versatile as heck, and is always fun because I'm always needing to be creative, research random data (love it) and isn't stressful. And while I'm still learning it (and slowly as heck cus I'm still me and everything else catches my attention before I panic and complete the job in the last minute), I already have more clients than I can handle, all related to animals (pet hotels, vegan restaurants, rehabilitation clinics, adoption centers, even products and programs that are necessary for their well being), which pushes me to do better and better beause feels like a life mission. And on the side I'm trying to figure out how to do affiliate marketing properly too (which is SO fun but I would never even consider if I never learned how to properly deal with ads for businesses). So without even noticing, I figured it out, and my mind - that seemed like a problem that had no place in this world - didn't need anything other than just being heard. _[still I would suggest asking for professional help if you're in a 'distressing loop'. I almost didn't made it for a second there, and thankfully meditation worked in time, but if it doesn't help you, SO many other things can!!]_ excuse my english and how long this got geez..
@@JessM888 wow thank you for sharing, that is actually really inspirational you know. Marketing is something I'd never considered really, or had just tarnished with the "bad, corporate capitalism" brush. But you made it into something your own. I think I will continue to meditate, not try too hard in finding IT, and continue being patient because I think it will come to me.
Ecclesiastes 9:11 tells us how things can sometimes go. Marcus Aurelius tells us that what appears as luck is actually a recognition of opportunity, then preparation to benefit from that. If one can see the world that surrounds us in that way, what is called luck can come to fruition. If one chooses to ignore these truths, what fortune can they then expect?
Yes, this is all true ! I have taken the time to truly listen to peoples words with Love and compassion. There is the process that can assist us in finding the life that we dream of. Also finding the special people that will eventually become part of our amazing lives. So yes, be true, be authentic, with Love in your heart be you !
Incredible video Elson! So many thought provoking ideas in this video, and it was really skillful how you tied it back to some of your earlier concepts of "following your bliss." I agree with you that mindset and consciousness definitely has a strong influence on luck. Unfortunately, there is a somewhat of a dark side to this, that many healthcare professionals see in their field, as you notice that people going through health problems or depression definitely seem to experience worse luck than the average person. In many ways, both positive and negative success spirals are very real, and for good or bad, this universe seems to reinforce whatever you are focused on, and so it is really easy for bad to lead to more bad, or good luck to lead to more good luck. I really wish this was something that had been taught to us earlier in school. I think that one of the biggest challenges in this game of life is to stay positive even during the inevitable difficulties and setbacks that happen to everyone. There's a good book called Liquid Luck that discusses a lot of the concepts you covered in the video, which you might like. Keep up the awesome work following you bliss Elson!
Beautifully said, Jonathan. It's always a pleasure hearing from you, your insights are always golden, and I hope everything is wonderful in your world. I will check out your book recommendation Liquid luck! Big love to you and yours, and may you continue to follow your bliss as well, my friend
I had this weird belief since childhood that if today is a lucky day then tomorrow would be unlucky and day after tomorrow lucky. The more I believed in this idea I found it to be more and more true. It's really a self fulfilling prophecy in the end. Many people try to rationalise everything and look at stats and probabilities which perplex more than they clarify. It's very important not to get obsessed with rationality. As Dostovoesky said: " You see, gentlemen, reason is an excellent thing, there's no disputing that, but reason is nothing but reason and satisfies only the rational side of man's nature, while will is a manifestation of the whole life, that is, of the whole human life including reason and all the impulses."
Lovely video, I didn't expect anything less. Thank you for gracing us with your presence, the wait is always worth it. I've personally experienced both ends of the coin. I used to feel so unlucky until I changed my whole mindset back in 2021 (which took a lot of inner work). Since then, I've been extremely AUSPICIOUS. Like extremely! Luck and opportunities fall right into my lap. I'm a firm believer that our mindset has everything to do with the outcome of our lives. Our beliefs are EVERYTHING and no one can tell me that you can't change your life. Thank you sir, I'll be waiting for your next masterpiece. Big smiles over here!
That's amazing, Adrena! Thank you for gracing me with your presence here too, and for being such a wonderful source of warmth and positivity in these comments. Keep sharing your good luck and wonderful opportunities, and may you continue to follow your bliss. Big love to you and yours, my friend!

I would say, to get more luck, don't do any sins. Don't do any bad things. Live a clean life, do everything properly, do everything well, don't have any blood on your hands, make an honest living, treat your people well. Behave according to morality. Go along the golden path of your life, don't fall astray from it. Then luck will come to you.

Interesting how these videos bring to my attention my own ways of thinking. For example, the idea of having tunnel vision. Tunnel vision is something I've always fought against. I think the brain is comfortable with having a goal. It reduces anxiety. But if we look at it as a form of laziness, then we can keep our mind open to possibilities in front of us.

We had been waiting for this one for awhile, Elson, and might I say it was well worth it! Thank you for your service and I truly believe your work is the best kept secret on RUclips. More people need to see it! It made me realize we have nothing to lose when trying new things like networking., I wanted to ask you, do you have any advice for anxiety about the future?
Thanks so much, Sukwinder. I appreciate your patience! I do intend to post these videos more quickly, but there's often unforeseen delays, and it often takes longer than I think it will. Anxiety about the future is a common issue; everyone will go through at some point. What really helped me was starting a meditation practice. I started with 10 minutes a day where I would pay attention to my breath and notice whatever was appearing in my consciousness, and whenever my attention wandered off, coming back to the breath. In those 10 minutes I have myself permission to not think about anything. Meditation is free and there's a lot of resources out there, and I think it's one of the best things we can do for mental health. If there's interest I might do a video on this topic in the future. As always, I'm so grateful for your support. Big love to you and yours, my friend
Thanks for always being here to brighten up the RUclips comments section my friend. I'm so grateful for your continued support. Big love as always, Jack!
One concept I really like is Luck Surface Area I don't know quite how to describe it but it's the idea that you're more likely to experience certain lucky events in certain places So you should put yourself in the places that are more likely to have good luck - greater Luck Surface Area It sounds really obvious when I put it like this but if you're looking for a girlfriend, you first have to be lucky enough to meet a woman you like and likes you (of course if you're a girl then you can switch this and be lucky enough to meet a guy). But to do that, you basically have to be social - chances are low that you'll meet someone if you just stay home and read all the time. So go to social events or (less likely to work but I guess I'll mention it) be on dating apps
Quick confirmation for y'all, I'm a really lucky person and do exactly what he says. Also, you can't be lucky if you aren't even trying to think of yourself as lucky, so whoever is a beginner in this keep that in mind.
I'd love to hear your stories about how you changed your own luck in your life. What are techniques or mindsets you use to find more positive opportunities?
I have very much gratitude and appreciation for your content! I learned how to create my own luck when I was in 3rd grade, I won an essay award and was featured in the local newspaper(early 80's) I was born an optimist surrounded by pessimism. The world has become more of both, its all about awareness. Tune into how you feel about life, not think about life. Thanks for listening❤
@@db3519 Wonderful comment, thank you Darcy! It's a great insight that the world has more of both, but we can tune into what we want more of. I appreciate you!
Hello Elson! Another great video, thank you! So strange how often you release a new video and it tracks closely where I'm at. Recently I've been meditating and practicing mindfulness, and also reminding myself that the universe has a plan for me and that things will work out, and in the last few weeks nicer things have started to happen! And I owe a lot of this to looking up the meaning of angel numbers (including your video on them) and going with the advice that felt right for me, such as meditation and cultivating a more positive attitude. So thanks again, I’m glad you are there, your channel has played a big role in my journey!

Something to think about, for sure. I've never really considered myself lucky or unlucky. Perhaps I could shift things a little by shifting my perspective....now to figure out what my "bliss" is, lol
Thanks for the comment, Spacegoat! For me, following one's bliss at the beginning can be unclear because many of us have been conditioned growing up to ignore it. I started in a similar way, and just tried a bunch of things to see what brought a spark of joy, and then slowly moved in that direction. You can find it too by taking a series of small bets and seeing what happens. If there's interest I may make a video on this in the future. Thanks for always being here and being a positive presence in the comments my friend. I really appreciate your continued support!
🍀Once again the topic of your latest video coincides with something that has been on my mind. Makes me wonder about wavelengths/frequencies and if perhaps we are picking up on the same ones! Another great video, as always I just got this one and I am already looking forward to the next one 😂
I'm so glad to hear that, my friend. Dr. Bernard Beitman does discuss the possibility that we may be able to pick up on each other's wavelengths/frequencies in what he calls the 'psychosphere' (i.e., a kind of mental atmosphere we all share related to Jung's idea of the collective unconscious). It's very intriguing. Thanks as always for your continued support, and big love to you and yours! 🍀
Ive found that when I really want something, I dont get it, but then Ill end up getting promotions that I never asked for or cared about. One time I was bowling with my classmates and I was trying to bowl good, but I ended up bowling poorly. Then, as we were waiting for our school bus, I thought bowl a few rounds just for fun. I picked up the ball and sloppily hurled it down the land, not even aiming. I got a strike. I thought "Wow!" Why couldnt i bowl like that earlier. So I picked up the ball again, and once again, I sloppily tossed it down the lane without aiming. Anothe strike. It happened 3 times in a row. The computer screen called it a "turkey." But ya, I tend to have good luck with things I dont care about lol

It's always a pleasure to read your comments, David! Your continued support means the world to me. As always, big love to you and yours, my friend
Thank you very much Elson. I really enjoyed this one. It’s been quite a while.
What a pleasure to see you again, Kema! Thanks so much my friend, I hope everything is well in your corner of the world. Big love and bona fortuna
Beautifully said, Keagle. Thank you for sharing your insights, my friend. I appreciate you

Wow. Thank you. It felt like all the versions of luck coming across this video right now. Perfectly affirming. Very grateful for your work!
I'm so grateful for your support! Big love to you and yours, my friend
Just finished watching the previous video and came directly to this one.
Thanks for sharing Elson!! I love your videos and all the work you put into your videos!! Thank you!! I found this on this internet: Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity. This quote, attributed to Roman philosopher Seneca, reminds us that we make our own luck!! 😊
Beautiful quote, Bridgette. Thanks so much for taking the time to share it and to show love and support for what I'm doing. Big love to you and yours, my friend
I always feel lucky whenever I see a new Modern Intuitionist video on my feed.
I always feel lucky to have warm comments from kind people like you, my friend. I appreciate you!
Thanks for taking the time to share that, Konstantine!
I thoroughly enjoy your videos. They are well thought-out and informative. You cover topics that hold my interest. I also like listening to your voice. It's soothing and it sounds very friendly. Thank you for your marvelous creations.

You're the best, Silvertree! Thanks so much, and may you and your sons follow your bliss, wherever it may take you. Big love as always
❤ luck is being flexible, and learning how to master fate. Perdiot.
Man, you have such a beautiful voice ! Hope you are using it for singing 🎶🎶💓💓💓💜💜💜🎶
Wow, you're the best Mellifer. That means so much to me coming from someone of your talents. Thank you for the ego boost I didn't realize I needed! Big love to you and yours, my friend 🎶💓

How. How. I listened to O fortuna yesterday and found myself diving into the song itself. I learned about Fortuna and the Wheel of Fortune just yesterday and I’m seeing this today
Thank to you. I appreciate your words.. You make us feel pleased, Elson.
I appreciate your words too, Sein Sein! Thanks for your continued support!
Every movie you recommend, I watch and it’s always a winner. Adaptation is now on the list.
On another note, I am persevering for something so fiercely but all my 5 sense data says its a waste of time …I am holding on, regardless. My “good luck” will kick in soon enough, I am sure 😃 send me your blessings, Elson - I would be honoured! Thank you for your work ❤

We had been waiting for this one for awhile, Elson, and might I say it was well worth it! Thank you for your service and I truly believe your work is the best kept secret on RUclips. More people need to see it! It made me realize we have nothing to lose when trying new things like networking.,
I wanted to ask you, do you have any advice for anxiety about the future?
Everything that happens in our lives is a direct result of our words, thoughts, actions, and inactions.
I couldn't agree more. Beautifully said, uncle Tony!

One concept I really like is Luck Surface Area
I don't know quite how to describe it but it's the idea that you're more likely to experience certain lucky events in certain places
So you should put yourself in the places that are more likely to have good luck - greater Luck Surface Area
It sounds really obvious when I put it like this but if you're looking for a girlfriend, you first have to be lucky enough to meet a woman you like and likes you (of course if you're a girl then you can switch this and be lucky enough to meet a guy).
Love love love this video and a very welcomed reminder to follow my heart again, thank you so much for making it! :)
You are so welcome, Becky! I appreciate you, and may you continue to follow your heart

I'd love to hear your stories about how you changed your own luck in your life. What are techniques or mindsets you use to find more positive opportunities?
I have very much gratitude and appreciation for your content!
I learned how to create my own luck when I was in 3rd grade, I won an essay award and was featured in the local newspaper(early 80's)
I was born an optimist surrounded by pessimism.
The world has become more of both, its all about awareness. Tune into how you feel about life, not think about life.
Thanks for listening❤
@@db3519 Wonderful comment, thank you Darcy! It's a great insight that the world has more of both, but we can tune into what we want more of. I appreciate you!

Luck is in the eye of the beholder!
Thank You ! All your vidéo is great
Hello Elson!
Thanks for taking the time to leave such a kind and heartfelt comment, Jeff! I appreciate you being an important part of my journey as well. We're here to uplift each other. Keep shining bright, and big love to you and yours, my friend.

You're so very welcome. I appreciate you!

Such a wonderful video :) thank you 🌸
You're so welcome Barahekkis! Thanks so much, my friend
