    Brazil nuts are a very good source of selenium. Fish, shellfish, red meat, grains, eggs, chicken, liver, and garlic are also good sources. Meats produced from animals that ate grains or plants found in selenium-rich soil have higher levels of selenium.👍

      @Tenmil animals aren’t evil for eating other animals. We live in the world. In our own meat suits. Which have requirements to thrive, key word - thrive. Bioavailability is a real thing. You can eat whatever you want and not have anyone push their opinions on you. So don’t unto others it in itself is a form of abuse. I feel able to speak on this topic as I was vegetarian 20 years of my life and vegan for 6 never pushed my opinion on others. Meat CAN help health, mood and affecting others around us for the better. Namaste

      @Tgon Mwort correct, selenium-methionine is the best . It's why Wales can tolerate Mercury without toxicity

    I am interested in hydroponic gardening , but I worry about the micro nutrients in the water , this kind of information is really useful to me . This kind of information from a medical point of view is really needed by hydroponic growers ! I would really like one program that has a chart of all the micro nutrients that should be in fruit and vegetables , then programs like this that go more in depth on each individual nutrient .

    This is what I read in Andrew Cutler's book:
    "So mercury can potentially bond to the cells of the thyroid gland, which can result in a hypothyroid condition. Mercury interferes with many of the minerals necessary for thyroid hormone production, as well as the conversion of T4 to T3. Some of the minerals this toxic metal affects include zinc, magnesium, and selenium."

    Malabsorption - Mercury toxicity (mainly amalgams or vac-nes) - selenium deficiency - glutathione deficiency - bad memory and cognitive capabilities - depression - etc
    These are all connected. I think the current medical paradigm ignores almost completely the heavy metal toxicity part of it (because it ignores those two sources that I mentioned above).

    • @MaximC
      @MaximC 2 года назад +1

      Basically because these two medical practices (the amalgams and vac-nes) cannot be challenged, that's why. Although on amalgams it's starting to change (I believe). Same will happen, eventually, for vac-nes.

    • @FielValeryRTS
      @FielValeryRTS 11 месяцев назад +1

      Totally agree! I've only recently realized how bad the Amalgam in my teeth was. It was 12 years ago that things started to go bad, and yet the dentists didn't even consider the possibility.

      If you'd like, I can suggest a good RUclips channel about this. Stan (the author) describes how he recovered from heavy metal toxicity.
      The channel is called "Mercury Heavy Metal Toxicity Information" (or @mercuryheavymetaltoxicityi3066).
      Good luck.

    Is it a good idea if I take T-balance Plus for selenium due to hypothyroid function? I have had chills and fatigue for some time and from speaking to my doctor I reported that I have unexplained weight gain, and mild fatigue because I don't know tired I have to be to diagnose that I have hypothyroidism.
