    Thanks for an excellent introduction to Yin yoga. I tried a class recently and very much enjoyed it. After holding poses for 3-4 minutes I found my body felt activated, alive and flexible and when I'd finished my mind was calm and serene. Fabulous.

    I need this. I heard of Yin yoga but never completely understood it's benefits, thinking it's much like restorative yoga and same benefits. It's perfect for what I'm searching for. I'm so very new to yoga and this video explains it all very clearly. Beautiful voice, soothing, calm and very professional.Thank you so much for putting this video together. I'm your new subscriber ~Namaste

    I’ve practiced yin yoga for a while and it’s been so beneficial in my road to recovery and managing fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis.
    The benefits along with tai chi and qigong of my nutritional changes have been immensely helpful I am very grateful for this amazing self healing yoga.

    2 Years ago i wouldn't have believed you. One year ago I did Yin yoga for a couple months, and yes you're telling the truth.

    I've been experiencing some issues with my lower back and my doctor suggested yoga. She mentioned that she does a more traditional yoga in the morning but does Yin yoga at night and said i might enjoy it because it's really helped her with lower back issues so I'm doing some research. Thank you so much for this explanation. It was very helpful and i definitely think i'd like to try 🙂

    Hi Caren, which yoga style do you recommend for increasing flexibility? Also, is it appropriate to practice yin yoga after sun salutations? Best, Lina

    • @carenhope
      @carenhope  Год назад

      Hard to answer this question without knowing why you want more flexibility/where you hope to be more flexible. I also know yoga to be an inward journey, not a focus on asana, so I don’t think I’m the best to answer this question for you.

    Is it possible to benefit from yin yoga when u come to the session with a head full of stress full thoughts and u can't get rid of them? Or does it only work when u come with an empty mind?

    • @carenhope
      @carenhope  4 года назад

      Yes, you will benefit. I encourage you to enter into the yoga practice as you are. We arrive at a more calm, clear state through the act of practice.

    So this is technically Chinese orientated practice converted into the Indian art of yoga? Or maybe I'm over thinking this. 🙏
