Just wanted to say THANK YOU!! My Cherry(baby albino) will now & forever be tong fed! If I hadn’t watched this, I probably would have just threw the crickets in!
oh man, baby pacmans are stressful, i picked out the smallest at petco and he/she would not eat, this method works but only once today, going to try again tomorrow
Tried this and it works! I moved my from frog, Krueger, to a different container and used your method with a whole worm instead of pieces and he ate it in less than a minute of trying!
Thank you this is useful! I have a baby pixie frog, it’s only use to live roaches, I’m trying to feed it a variety of food and it wasn’t interested in motionless food.
the thing by shaking the tong is they feel threatened so they bite and when they bite that food they taste it and they love it so they realize that this tweezer is bringing them delicious food and will start to comply to eating more
My fantasy is a very fussy eater. I can only get a half a night crawler in every two days or a occasional pinky. I have tried crickets, mealworms, super worms or silk worms with no luck
I'm always so scared about stressing my lil nugget out. Had him about a month now, he's chunk boi, only acted really hungry the first day I got him. I usually leave a couple crickets in his cage, and he's always fatter and the crickets are gone. I know he needs other things, and I'm def gonna try tong feeding him. He doesn't like being in a separate container, but I may need to do that.
The one I have looks like it’s 1/2 weeks old according to what your saying, would a pinky/worms be better then crickets for now?(I know they need a variety)
im a relatively new pacman owner and i tried this with crickets and big reds nightcrawlers and he refused to eat. he is a little slugish which is expected but he refuses to open his mouth please try to help my situation. im not aware if he is a baby or not but i tried letting the crickets roam around and he still wont eat when they come his way. the first night i got him he ate 4 small crickets and went back for the next day, they didnt have smalls so i got large i thought it would be okay for him but no he refuses to eat them. im not sre if he is being picky or not, i cant tell if its something with my enclosure either.
I always thought that you give it from a distance. Now I learnt how to be successful. Do they actually learn and attack from a distance afterwards though?
My baby boy Balthazar tong feeds well now. Its a lot easier then throwing crickets in his home and then trying to catch the little f***ers later if he doesnt eat them all!
Ive had my baby pacman for two days now. Ive tried to feed him at night doing what you do in this video but he just seems terrified and jumps all over the plastic bin. He seems healthy, he's alert and active and doesn't look underweight, but I'm worried about him not eating.
I had my baby pacman frig for a couple days, and he or she only eats a little bit every other day. Try not feeding your frog for 2-3 days so they can get adjusted
I have a cornuta too. Using more common Pac-Man guides as a reference for their care and how to regulate their temp/humidity, mine only eats once a week or more at 6 months old, how about yours? I wonder if their care requirements are slightly different or their bodies digest different, I don’t know. Mine hunts in a separate feeding container and tong feeds.
@@Gorrem I kept mine at 26°C and now at 28°C as a test but still nothing. The previous owner said he only ate twice on his own in his care. At least mine tong feeds with no issues so it's not that bad
Hey, sorry for the late reply! If the frogs are young, then better safe than sorry for a little while. Once they get older, you can probably give them bigger, whole ones with no issues.@@Ur.fave_edgar
If your pacman frog is really tiny then just force feed it if it won't eat because it's still very small and getting used to it's surroundings and food.
You are a life saver!! My new pacman I just got hasn't eaten in 4 days, this method had him eating super worms faster than I could feed him.

I've had my pac-man frog 🐸 for about a month now. He is doing pretty good! Taught him to tong feed in that time.

Baby pacman frogs are just the cutest things ever to me
Great video and info as always! And beautiful frogs❤️
DUDE! THANK YOU SO MUCH! This helped my baby white tree frog tong eat!!!!!!!

Thankyou do much he eats better now that I tong feed him so I'm very happy just tong fed for the first time today
How old were the frogs you gave pinkies to? just wondering what age/ size is appropriate to start feeding pinkies as treats?

This method worked immediately!
Why can't they have red wigglers?

I had this issue a week ago too, they have to get used to their tank and surrounding first and after a while they will start to eat eventually
howd it go

Thank you man😩🥄🥣✅
My cornuta never hunts on his own, I always have to use yout method. Got any tips to make him hunt on his own?
most pacman are not hunters but ambush prredators

About how old are these babies? I have one ab this big
The first one was one week, and a couple of them were only a few days old. (I think this is since becoming frogs)
@@TomatoFroggodo u think I should cut the nightcrawlers into pieces for my baby Pac-Man for safety?

Mine looks at me like im an idiot when I try and tong feed him. I give up, drop the food and then he eventually goes for it.
Man my pac man will not eat anything I try to tong feed, he will only eat something when I isolate him with it and it runs past him
Why do you have to force feed them? Do they have no survival instinct? It like they're on suicide watch in the psych ward.
Why are u not giving them maggots? Thats a lot easier
Way too small or a meal for pacman
@@thefrogdepot5721 this worms doenst even move, you have move it al the time
@@thefrogdepot5721 a maggot fits perfect in is his mouth, idk what your saying, what is the resl reason
What kind of maggots are u referring to
