@@Nigel-xp4rf Yes, my friend, this is a mod. I was also upset by this sound. And although I tried to play with a manual gearbox, it still didn't work out very well. I know that there are quite good-sounding mods. But here little has changed.....unfortunately!
@blow7808 I don't know how, I have had no experience with mods, and next to no idea how they work, something to do with altering the code in the game, but anyhoo, I think you can get files that contain sound effects, like turbine and turbo boost and K.I.T.T.'s scanner, but I don't know how to install 'em
