Check Melody Souljah 'Guided by Spirit' for MPC dub... The mpc is a very deep machine, quite capable of making many different styles. But the user needs the imagination to properly use it. It's all possible 😉
@@TheGoldenWreath - to be honest, I barely understand the MPC still! I’ll say the sound quality is amazing as are the many fx. I just use mine for live shows. Chop up a bunch of mixed/mastered loops and put them into a clip program. My live shows sound much better now, but I still write most of my music on Elektron machines
@@TheGoldenWreath - the way I’m going it, each ‘project’ is a full sets worth of clips. 8 sets or songs per project is usually more than enough for me and I haven’t had any CPU issues
This is one of the very few MPC One videos with this style of music. I've been curious if the MPC could do this and how intuitively the glitch sounds are achieved because the Digitakt/Octatrack seem to excel in this. Really cool song and video.
thanks andreas! the synth sounds come from patches of mine made in the waldorf blofeld. the rhythmic elements come from a kit+pattern i had programmed in the elektron machinedrum, then chopped and rearranged within the MPC; percussive one-hits similarly originally come from the machinedrum, then layered and processed within the MPC.
Finally someone that use the mpc in a different way. Subbed.

Very impressive! Just got my first MPC. Been an Octatrack guy for a long time but figured it would be fun to learn something new
How was the difference ? I’ve had an octa , shitload of Eurorack, etc. but been curious on mpc

@@thesnipecatcher116 any problems with the cpu? Or are you always aware of it ?

Impressive sequencing and composition. The film footage really added to the score big time. Nicely done!

Very cool sounds, didnt even know the MPC One was complex enough to create IDM. Keep it up!
It’s a powerful machine, no doubt.
Me neither. Glad u found this guy

Beautiful

cool sound, cool rhythm, hot. I would really be interested in how you got that crazy sound

@@bluecliffsynthesis6685 Thank you for your detailed comment.

Where I can download the Mpc One screensaver?
:D lovely editing and dope sound!
Love the glitchyness of this track!
That had to of taken some time to arrange! Bravo
😍😍😍👏👏👏👏
So this was ALL done on the MPC? Including the mixing and mastering?
There's probably some light compression and EQing in Ableton, nothing significant.
@@bluecliffsynthesis6685 Still, impressive what you can do with that thing!
