It's a wonder how we can be so compassionate toward others and so harsh on ourselves. This is a beautiful message and I'm happy you found a way to speak with yourself.
This is a beautiful message, Sandee. It's kinda throwing me how much we have in common in our mental health journeys. A lot of what you said resonated, some things I had independently realized before, other things I'm going to be thinking about for a few days I'm sure. I really like how you framed the split in yourself. I've learned to see myself that way too, and a lot of the music I'm working on is about that very concept. I didn't survive all my suicide attempts by chance or by fate, but because of the girl inside me who still wanted to live. Thank you so much for sharing.
Oddly enough, I split my personality as well. My split from who I was to who I am. It's that split that allowed who I was to fade away and need to become the person I am today.
bad things happen to good people so that other good people will take note and try to insure it doesn't continue happening. if we don't share our story, our pain will never have a positive outcome. the universe is striving for balance.
wow Sandee - epic share! proud of you sister! - too i think i sense a deeper manifestation of spirituality than you're letting on out loud! if i'm right then open that can up more cause i think people would be down to see deep dives into more heart-mind coherence type approach to life! ;)
"The public might instinctively feel that something is wrong, but that is because of the technical nature of the silent weapon, they cannot express their feeling in a rational way, or handle the problem with intelligence. Therefore, they do not know how to cry for help, and do not know how to associate with others to defend themselves against it." truth defeats the lawless man.
