Pretty much, yes 😛 The French tactic was to maneuver to break up the British fleet into small chunks, surround them piecemeal and concentrate a lot of fire to make them surrender quickly. Factoring in the importance of the wind and different ship sailing profiles, there's yet scope for some strategy & coordination in naval battles... ⚓

Fantastic looking battle, love the era and the details. Commentator wasn't great. Sorry bud, you just seemed like you hadn't done any preparation and where all at sea with the games unit details and what was going on during the battle. Exclamations of wow do not a commentary make.
hey sorry you didn't enjoy the commentary. I just loaded up the replay and started watching but I feel there isn't a whole lot of commentary with ship battles as much as there are in land battles. My genuine reaction was what was shown in the replay, and I'll admit I'm a bit of a nerd at heart so sometimes the only true reaction I can give in just admiration of how amazing it looks. I'm sure over time if I do more naval replays I'll get into my element
