RIP, Roger. Always entertaining. Never boring.
Plus brought Us some of our best directors like Dante, Scorsese and Coppola just to name a few of his students too! ❤😂 Greetings from Boston Massachusetts Amerikkka!
I love these old movies.
I enjoy watching these old black & white movies! 😊
I miss the old days when they had a host who would be dressed up and introduce these films though!❤😮 Greetings from Boston Massachusetts Amerikkka of course!
I remember watching this, and The Attack of the 50ft woman on Creature Feature on WNEW channel 5 in NYC back in the day.
Thanks for uploading such a nice movie. I cant stop watching full movie.
Roger Corman at his best .... great cast .... one of my all-time favorites, I have it on VHS four times , 3 are unopened brand new sealed tapes ( for my massive sci-fi/horror movie collection) , I also have it on DVD so when I want to watch with family or friends , but I am so happy to see that it's on "RUclips" , so I will enjoy myself in a different atmosphere with folks watching and commenting a flick that's so near and dear to my heart 👍👍

Boy - I remember seeing this movie when I was about 10-11 years old - so it was probably around 1968. Not sure if it was on Chiller Theater or Creature Features. Me and my friend watched it in my basement - we thought it was AWESOME! Really miss those good old days.
What a fab movie - I could watch these movies all day. Thank. you for posting this.
Are you kidding?🥴
@@aussiedownunder4186 NO not at all.
I loved this movie as a kid...
Great classic y never see again. Those were the good old days thanks keep them coming ❤
Not seen this in years thank you a late night Halloween treat 😈
Cor! Man, what a movie. 👍
Best movie comments ever.
"Less budget is More" ..... the legacy of Roger Corman, everyone (1926-2024)
@CarlosGuzman-vi9xw 😲 However, a ‘ less is more ‘ doesn’t always work and ultimately becomes apparent.
The last two lines. . . CLASSIC!! 🤣
Heck yeah
"HE GAVE HIS LIFE" beautiful last word's of film.😊
He survived and ended up on Gilligan's Island.👍😉
Heck yeah
This is how Russell Johnson got typecast as the guy on an island who fixes radios.
oh, Galligan's Island,,,,,,
After watching this movie, I would tend to agree. You are on to something.
Never seen before!!!!.ok giant crabs with cute faces...😅
@ 24:29~ They talk about how carnivorous crabs are. As a young policeman, I recovered the drowned body of a shrimper-sailor who had been in the water for 3 days. When I boat-hooked his belt, and pulled him to the bank, many small crabs skittered away from his face. On shore, all his soft tissues~ eyelids, lips, ears, etc, were eaten away, and his bodily gasses were bubbling out. Never ate another crab after that!
Food for thought 😂
Thank you sir for your public service. Too many today take it for granted.
@@jasontimothywells9895Food for face as well ❤😂
@@frednugent2310Thanks to the government’s defunding all civil servants except for the I.R.S. who are allowed to carry firearms. Kinda ironic, no?❤😮 Greetings from Boston Massachusetts Amerikkka!!

OUCH!
came here to say that.
Good flick.
The underwater scenes are really cool.
Enhanced greatly by Pamela Duncan's excellent DNA characteristics.
💚 RUSSELL JOHNSON💚ska The Professor" Gilligan's Island ...always had a litte crush on him ...real cute & great voice .i think he fell for Marty in this ..💚🦞
I just watched my childhood favorite video that introduced me to Godzilla and Kaiju and the crab monster was here. I just wanted to see the old timey monster movies lol.
Thank you ROGER CORMAN . May I have another. This is just Top Notch , a shorty but a goodie. 🤠🖖 ♨️
I love that even after like 10 earthquakes every item on the huge shelfs is in perfect order, very funny
😄 (lol) OMG!…. You so beat Me too mentioning that. Even the electricity still worked inside.
Neato movie... I was 6 when this was new
This was the 1st horror movie I had ever seen when I was a kid.
My favourite era for these types of movie, they seem very cheesy to the younger generation’s but to me they are in a league of their own, they might not have the best or modern special effects or be in colour but I just think that they are better for it, hope you enjoyed watching it again, I know I did. 😀👍🇬🇧🏴🇺🇸🇺🇦
Zombies! Aliens! Incest! Cross-dressing! Monsters! Curse of the Swine-Beast is the greatest film in cinema history!
Had to watch this one few to many times
This stupid movie scared the shit out of me when I was a kid. I had nightmares for a week every night!
I’m going on 59+ sleeping with my lights on right now!
Wait a minute. If the Professor gave his life at the end how did he end up on Gilligan’s Island a few years later?😮
That's Herbert his identical twin
Gilligan's island is in an alternate universe😅
@Dan-nt2yb 😄 (lol) It’s a ‘ Twilight Zone ’ sort of thing.
Ah, the professor (Russel Johnson) trapped on an island again, this time with a bunch of old talking crabs and new people. Where's Gilligan to foul things up again? Still, these old black and white monster movies are fun to watch. Thanks for posting. Joe S
Crab cocktail
Got to love the script, poor old Jules lying on floor having had his hand neatly severed and the doctor says the immortal words to the two sailors “come, give us a hand 🖐️” that line couldn’t have been written any better, intentional or not it is classic. After Jules spoke to the remaining team he left no doubt in my mind that he was dead in the physical sense but not mind, and that the rest of them were going to end up the same way, so why did they wait for him!!!! to speak again, and why did they trip the obvious trap by going to find out what was going to kill them? I thought these people were meant to be intelligent people, and yet, as with most films, they do exactly what they know is the wrong thing, they would have been better served coming up with a plan to defeat whatever it was they were up against, they had some dynamite 🧨 that would help, some side arms and possibly some rifles, so why didn’t they have a defensive strategy or offensive tactics????,……………..and the answer is, because it is a film where logic doesn’t exist. The other thing that makes no sense is the aircraft, fair enough that the base they were going to would assume storm prevented them flying back, but once it cleared and they still didn’t return a search and rescue mission would have been launched, starting at the island, but that is logical and we know logic doesn’t exist in film land. Ok @ 46:53 they make me eat my words, not totally unexpected, let’s see if “having a cunning plan, my lord” works for them. 😀👍🇬🇧🏴🇺🇦
Yes as soon as there's danger they walk straight into it to explore and potentially get killed or severely injured putting a strain on everyone else
I loved the very first-Make that line fast!!!......to what? a sandy beach? Sort of shows what to expect.
They should’ve started a crab meat company had some mayonnaise on the side
Just like today, the crabs are running the whole show
@allandavis8201 😄 (lol) The giant ‘ crabs menaced like ‘ Space Ghost ’ villains.
A short film but keeps you entertained to the end.
Agreed, captivating short film. Thanks for watching "Attack Of The Crab Monsters" You can now follow us on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook #tenaatv and don't forget to drop your comments and likes.
Wow, talk about abrupt endings.
Boil some water and let's eat
Thank you
Lol. This movie gave me nightmares as a child. I think I saw it on Creature Features.
A radioactive island and no protection worn …craaazy!
😄 (lol) ANYONE ELSE FOR SEAFOOD?
Im starving for some 🦞🦞 Seafood
I'm glad that I never had an attack of the crab monsters.
We need a cutting-edge Hollywood remake of this film!!!
That would be very cool, Dadyo
Could this be considered kaiju?
Why would you want to destroy a classic like all the other modern day remake turds .

Ohh Russell Johnson aka The Professor! I remember watching this at the base theater as a kid. It scared me enough, to not want to learn to swim, and stay away from the Ocean. 5⭐ 👍👍 5🏆
A gorgeous woman with a bunch of sailors on a deserted island? What could possibly go wrong?...

I’ve seen some creepy crab/lobster monsters in Godzilla and in Jules Verne’s Mysterious Island, but this one takes the cherry on top
Scared the crab out of me!
😅
Fantastic!
Crab cakes gone wrong 😢
I remember this movie being much better when I was a kid.
I see the professor but where's Ginger and Maryanne? Gilligan must have been crab bait.

R.I.P. Roger Corman, the legend.
He Will Be Missed Rest In Peace Amen🫡😑🙏🏻👼🏻😢😪
Kind of a crabby movie!
Notice the stock footage lightening strike at 9:34? It has been used on hundreds of horror movies and television shows since the 1950s. Still used today occasionally on RUclips uploads.
By the way, I am trying to compile a list of movies, such as this one, and television series, such as "Charmed" circa 1990, that have used this particular snipit of lightning strike stock footage over the decades. If anyone comes across of a particular sighting please drop me a response to this comment as to the title and approximate location of said lightening strike stock footage in whatever movie, or tv episode, that you happen to encounter it. I will be most grateful.
Update 02/11/2024: I believe the origin of that footage was The Bride of Frankenstein in 1935. That is the earliest example of it that I have been able to verify. So it dates back two decades prior to the 1950s.
I remember a version with some A bomb stock footage at the opening
CLASSIC DIALOGUE INCOMING!!...
_"Once they were men...now they are landcrabs"_
They don't write them like that anymore.
Well the gay boys of South park has crab people episodes that are awsome
Was this Gilligan's island? The professor is there
Fear the crabcat! Oh sorry, wrong channel.
I remember watching this in the early 70s when I was a Freshman in high school thinking the final two lines of dialogue were really stupid. So I had to watch for The Professor and the last bit of dialogue. Damn, my memory was perfect and after 50 years the last lines are still utterly inane!
'I hope that man's death is not an omen of things to come' a character declares at around the 4:43 mark, kind of pre-empting the following 58:15.
I noticed it said 1957 right there in the title screen which indicates to me that this movie is so old they hadn't as yet even invented Roman Numerals.
Also, I worked for a crab and she was indeed a monster....although she hated the beach.

@@karenhill3970 Harry Hairchest was big in B movies.
Remember the crab monsters are best with lots of butter.
Its a pretty good flick plus Russell Johnson aka the Professor is in it.
I knew this was going to be a good movie when I saw that Curley Batson was in charge of makeup.🙄
Russell Johnson the electronic whiz was the professor in Gilligan's Island 🏝️🏝️
theres no escape from those crabs, ahahah🦂
I've never had had crabs but these huge things would eat your minge
They'd have to catch you first. Seems most people could easily walk away from them.
AY up on that . The north afaka warriors are the modern day crabs in the u.k.
Aww.it was good😅..🦀🦀🦞.Mom & i would watch .& Laugh these oldies.... precious Mom....cannot believe never seen this one
The professor is on an island messing with a radio. Some things never change.
All these old B movies seem to have two things in common- ridiculous premises, and sudden endings (as if they ran out of money, or just wanted the project to be over with.)
What's up with the 1 Arm guy
Best part is the silly titles. Has anyone ever noticed how many of these cheapos list Floyd Crosby as the cameraman?
How do they expect Russell Johnson to fix a radio without some coconuts.
Where are the employees of the Crab Shack when you need them?
The Original Movie Title Was "Attack Of The Crabs" .
Terrible ending. "He gave his life!"...crying...movie ends. What about the sinking island?
The Professor and islands don't mix.
