Executives should keep their grubby hands off of creative productions.
Most of the time when executives change something in a production it just ends up dragging the whole thing down because they do not understand any nuance and the creative process of a production, so they just end up doing what they think is going to make them big bucks which in their eyes is either playing it safe or/and following past trends that worked (without understanding why they worked in the first place).

I know re-releasing movies has worked out for Disney in the past, but I can't imagine a lot of parents wanting to pay theater prices for movies that their kids have probably seen a dozen times on Disney+. As much as I’m really rooting for the animation industry as someone trying to break in, the biggest animation union in the country, The Animation Guild, will be negotiating contracts soon for next summer. Many don’t know whether or not there will be a strike, but artists currently working in the industry are saying how important AI protections are for this next contract. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if the animation industry strikes next. Really scary times considering how long the industry has been in a slump for non-indie studios.

    • @CouchSpud91

Not just that, but the Special Effects guild is seeming to be more and more likely to be a thing with a corresponding strike for being overworked, underpaid, and above all never getting enough time to produce quality products. If you're going to do a video about what's ruining Disney (as you said you'd do at the start of this video), the live-action department could use a lot of discussion. *NOT* counting remakes, their live-action in-house (meaning not Marvel or Lucasfilm) movies were almost never successful, and even the better examples aren't well-preserved. So that could be a start.
    - Mr. Magoo
    - The Nutcracker and the Four Realms
    - The Bears and I

I’m excited to see many more projects focusing, not just on Africa as a whole, but on a specific part of it. After living in Africa for many years, and seeing many different local cultures, I’m glad we’re going to be seeing more specific nations, and their own identities, instead of blending them together into some Pan-African bullshit like Black Panther did. I’m glad we’re beginning to view Africa less like some shit out of a novel from the 1800s, but more as a diverse continent with many different nations, religions, languages, and cultures.

Not too long ago we had one of the camera operators working on IF visit my video production class. It was really neat since we got to see some of the behind the scenes stuff even before everyone got first glances at the trailer and stuff, so I definitely have high hopes for the film. Would definitely be excited to hear your thoughts on the film when it comes out! :) I'm definitely going to go see it in theatres when it does.
And of course, I'm super excited for Sonic 3. It's definitely a lingering fear that they might mess it up, but I'm personally optimistic. There's a lot of love put into the films -- definitely a "by the fans, for the fans" type of deal. I'm worried people might have much higher expectations for the film than for what it will actually be, but considering how much opportunity they have, I'm excited. Only part I'm worried about is the fact that they're making a massive jump in the timeline from Sonic & Knuckles to Sonic Adventure 2, but I'm hoping it won't be too big of a deal since the movies are still a different universe from the games. Nevertheless, I'm super excited! :)

I think 2 reasons why people might be hating on the Aquafina character in Kung Fu Panda 4 aside from casting issues:
    1) it's a a probable story of a male character/title being replaced by a female character

The lore is deeply intriguing, and this zany Loony Tunes-meets-Cowboy Bebop cartoon actually made me tear up with feels. Indie animated series, and animation in general, were always inspiration for me, like, for the whole life. Lemme share smth here
Weeks ago, I decided to make a studio with my friends in it. For now we're working on the first project we will have - Purrfect Times. It's a slice of life story about a 20 y.o. man named Max, who dreams to be a psychologist. To get closer to his dream, he decided to work at the Cafe that basically keeps all memories he had through life, like meeting friends. Who knows, maybe this cafe will bring him something more for his life...
We actually have lots of ideas as well, like fantasy story about powerful crystal hunters, a story about shadows living along with humans, a sci-fi story about business workers against aliens...
We're planning to make them as webcomics first, but who knows, maybe we will have enough to make them into animated series.
I can't wait for 2024 and our studio journey!

With all the new books and such that have come out in recent times, I think this series has been long forgotten, but "The Named" series, staring Ratha and her Puma-like kin would make for a good series for young and old. If you've never heard of the series, I am happy that I introduced you to it. Look up the books if you want, the first book is Ratha's Creature. There was an animated short for Ratha's Creature back in the early 1980's from CBS Storybreak, but it barely covered all the book's details.

Wow, I can't wait to see what indie animations I look forward to. Although, I feel like making my own, I have some writing and story to it, but I kind of feel like I make crossovers with my main character and I'm a little okay about that, as long as I get permission, but I will probably change a bit of that story just in case of somewhat copywrite.
I am making an indie animation, problems are the following: 1. I don't know what I can use for my animation, since it's going to be 2D animation. 2. I'm a little lazy sometimes and I have possibly no motivation and making me feel like I'm burnt out or something. 3. I don't know how to do digital art since I just have a keyboard and a mouse, I am really trying to get a drawing tablet, or something related to that even if those are expensive. 4. I want to get it done as soon as possible, starting with mini animations before moving up the ranks which will probably take a long time or so.
I believe some people will be curious for my animation, but only time will tell if I can get it started or not. I already wrote out about 10 out the many more episodes I have!
Ill give a quick explanation about this animation:
This animation is called DASHE ((pronounced "Dash", not Dashie or how you pronounce it)) or also known as DarkAngelSerena's House Experience, and it's about a person named "Serena" and her four other friends, as adults that moved to a neighborhood, they have a great relaxing time as adults... that's until something tragic happens... I WON'T TELL YOU THE FULL STORY!
    Notes:
    1. I have Blender, which sometimes gets me unmotivated. I'm only doing 10 slide like things. I don't use Blender that much, rather Google Slides, even that unmotivated me, I do tests sometimes on blender and some unfinished things or stuff are on Google Slides. I do have Microsoft Paint and I use it often, I even made some random part, tests and more on it, also unmotivated me.
Yea, that's all. Have a great day/night/whatever time Everyone!
Fun fact: I'm born in 2010, I'm 13 when I posted this comment.

Monsters At Work still isn't technically a Pixar show, since it wasnt animated by them.

It's so funny, because I'm creating a show myself, and seeing shows like Dungeon Flippers and Swift Spark are just amazing. I'm like "Hey I know the person who's working on that!" And it just makes me happy seeing my fellow talented creatives being seen by a huge audience

Monkeywrench is definitely an amazing indie project you should check out! Gorgeous animation reminiscent of early 2000’s era and hilarious with incredible worldbuilding

Yeah, he’s briefly mentioned it in a couple of videos and that’s where I first heard about it, but he should seriously make a video about it specifically, it’ll help make more people aware of it considering his audience is larger.
