Quick tip for people farming armour/items/weapons. When you kill an enemy if they are going to drop an item white particles will pop out of them after killing them. Saves some time standing there and waiting for them to be lootable or not.

Friendly reminder: 9:26 u don’t need to defeat godrick to access that part of the map u can completely bypass the castle theirs a hidden path on the right side where the broken bridge with the weird lady is at, follow it and you’ll be in the second area of the map many videos keep saying u need to beat the boss to get that skull armor but I’m here to tell u that’s not the case :)
Think you can also meet that lady earlier in one of the gazebo things in the lake. If you follow her quest line I think it leads to the raging wolf set. This game has so much depth to it it's insane

For twinned armor all you have to do is get the medallions halves from the 2 forts, and go to Altus plateau and rest at 1 or 2 sites of grace, go back to Fia and you get the weathered dagger. Can get in under 2 hours of play to start off with a decent armor set

All I did was went up to this npc who had the armor on and killed him without fighting him by standing behind him while this grim reaper thing was shooting at me using the npc with the armor as a shield 😂
To get where the black raptor outfit is you don't need to kill a boss infact I'd say don't take the mine at all just use the grand lift and from there make your way over to the cave zero fighting required you can just roll past the skeletons

I feel that armour in elden ring is more important than in dark souls 3

A quick note for the first armor piece, you can’t really farm all of these areas. You get invaded by Millicent 90% of the time you go near them. I’ve been sticking to farming the one right outside of the grace and if you feel up to it, on the opposite side of the tree there are three that you can fight all at once without triggering Millicent if you’re up to the challenge.
I just get the grace south of the swamp and keep triggering her fight till i win
For Millicent. Climb the fallen tree. Then use arrows. He will stand on the bottom. Easy

@@toddshaw74 just bait her to the nearest grace but remember to walk on the fallen trees to avoid rot build up the when you reach the land she's easy to kill and don't be intimidated by her waterfowl dance ash of war it can be avoided just by running back when she jumps to start the attack

I think what makes this game so much fun is that unlike the other Souls games that aren’t open world you can level up your character by farming stronger enemies rather than feeling hopeless early on in the game. This will hopefully be 1st Souls I get to beat as I’m really lovin it so far

In my experience you can play ds1 in nearly any order of bosses you like, you can even fight the four kings as your second boss if you really wanted lol

That skeleton looking armor I had it. It gives you an interesting perk. Slowly healing over time, which you can stack with the Blessed Dew Talisman to regenerate your health outside of the combat way faster. I had like 50 less Hp after like 5 sec it filled me up. It’s crazy👌. I’m sure the other ones have their own secret perks too. You can check them by equipment menu with square button on playsttation controller on that item or gear to see it’s Description with on the selecting screen not over equipment menu screen otherwise you remove the item instead.
Sounds like even more of a reason to get it!
@@RedComet31 definitely. It also buffs your melee attack damage. Makes it perfect set for samurai class, but it works perfectly for any class anyways😅.

How do you know what perks the armor gives? Do you have to wear the whole set for the perk?
The Regeneration effect is tied to to Chestplate.
The majority of the 'Imp's Head' (Version Here,) bear a state boost. Such as 'Imp Head (Cat) ' granting a Plus Two to Intelligence.
The Mushroom Crown grants bonus damage against Targets afflicted with Bloodrot or Rot.
The Glintstone Crown Variations grant a bonus to Intelligence but lower other states for a greater boost.
The Oathkiller Helment grants a bonus to strength, and there are likely more that I have not mentioned.

I grinded for the Cleanrot armor for 45 mins, it was worth it though cause damn it's one of the best looking in the game. 🔥 thanks for showing.

@@kenny_green5962 true but it's more time consuming with the horse imo. I use bloody slash to stunlock them and farmed the same 3 closest to the swamp checkpoint.. Only took 45 mins so I got lucky.

I have a red hood that gives a boost to vigor and I haven't seen it anywhere. To get it you go back to stormvalle and it's in the dog pit where you picked up the npc quest item earlier
I got the royal remains armor 2 days ago and I’m loving it!! Clinging bone weapon is pretty nice too. It’s a dope set even if it is basically an alternate version of the darkwraith’s dark armor from dark souls.
I kinda wish it had a black cape or something. If you zoom in on it tho, the attention to detail is amazing.
You don’t even need blood slash. Just hop on Torrent and take them down that way. Makes the cleanrot knights that much easier, and you don’t get effect by the scarlet rot. And there’s to five knights in that location you can farm
Edit: there’s up to like seven you can farm. They’re all walking around. I know this because I nearly died. It significantly decreases your farming time, though. When I discovered there were more than three, I was getting a piece of the armor every run

@@zackhopkins5185 that’s why you hop on Torrent. You don’t stand next to them and slash at them, you do a run by. Bloody slash decreases your fighting time, but you risk getting scarlet rot
@@justondement4458 torrent dies for some reason. I guess from running in that blood. I'll try doing it without the bloody slash tho I didn't know that could give you rot. Also I keep getting invaded by some Ahole I guess that has to do with rot as well? Or is that just the area?

Hey could you please help me out I am not seeing the Armour s in the area even though I did all the steps property like the remains Armour, I got the half medallion and I also killed the enemy but when I went to check the spot where the Armour is in the ground it isn't there also for the knight Armour in the grave, it isn't there. There is nothing in the specified areas. So I don't know what to do😭

Thanks for the clean rot tips. After an hour I got the full set, 2 swords, and 2 halo scythes. The armor was enough to help me beat the Magma Wyrm in Goal cave.

When farming items, you can craft the item discovery consumable quite easily in the game, the recipe can be found at the smouldering church and the items to craft it can be found easily in east limgrave.
Though the claws are a little tougher to farm, imagine

@@La_Horca haha I get what you mean. There are times I have to test myself if the enemies are stronger than me. I think the time that I got nervous was when I opened a chest and it was a trap. That trap teleported me to a whole different zone and I didn’t want to die and lose my runes
@@dacbiet yeah bro, and sometimes the opportunities to lose NPCs interactions is so worrying for me. I lost my opportunity to talk to Renna in the Church of Elleh (because i had to backtrack and i didn't bruh) and had to do her quest later on. Is just too much and that's ok i think.

As an addition to the armor set at 04:20, you can get a Carian Knight Sword from the carriage tolled by two giants right at the west side to the academy.
The trolls on the mountain near by also drops the Troll Knight Sword they wield that has a similar design to the mentioned gears.
Wished you could transmog (not just altering) as i had to permawear a burger king helm as it gives +6 to int

get blaidd's wolf armor by doing the ranni the witch's questline, when you get a moonlight sword, you've completed the questline. and from there just find blaidd again.
You can get that silver armour that’s really heavy by killing that guy in the shack that sells ashes of war near storm hill grace. It’s heavy but has very good stats.

It’s through the big archway you encounter next to the first enemy camp
Dude worst mistake you can do is killing him, doing so locks you out of getting the raging wolf armor.

RUclipsrs. They using any clickbait possible, for views. Like another one, ''Best early weapons to get!'', and had Rivers on Blood in list, while to get RoB you must be at least Lv80 to access/goto Church of Repose area.
Actually everything in this video you can do without any plot progression barring the lucarian set, which you need to find the key to get access to the academy. You can go as far as the very edges of Altus Plateau/Leyndell Outskirts without doing any of the shardbearers in Stormveil, Lucaria, Caelid, and Gelmir. Granted can does not necessarily mean feasible when some of the enemies you'll need to fight will probably single-tap you with as much as a light scratch.

I love all the videos on Elden that say early and they have most of the map unlocked with high stats and proper builds meanwhile the ones searching for these videos are looking to not have as much rage inducing moments cause I ain't going to lie some the enemies in this game have made me want to throw my controller out the window and there for we looking for something to help us early on since this game is very punishing

Why is Caelia and Liurna called early game? Its min level is literally 40-60 for Liurna and 70-80 for Caelia. Early game should be any Limgrave parts and Weeping Peninsula
you can beat the game at level 1 and access both areas without beating any bosses so it is considered early game
I'm getting the cleanrot armor now... I'm still pretty new, so it's not as easy for me to kill them, but I've figured out that even if I die, I can get my souls back and start again ... Yay!!! What is a good, lighter set? I don't want to have to pump too many points into my carry limit stat, and currently I can't wear a full set and take a shield as well as my staff without fat rolling. I only have heavier armour pieces right now though (other than the rags from my prisoner starter) should I just put a few points into the carry limit stat?

There are certain charms, that increase your max equip load
Get the great jars arsenal, it's a talisman that increases your equip load by a shit tonne.

Hey! Havent seen anyone talking about that but there is a mob almost in the start of the game, killing which gives you almost 90k souls. Its a giant ill white dragon located near sellia crystal tunnel. You want to head north. He is huge, so I guess you wont miss em'. When you rech him there are several smaller dragons, but if you hide, youll get to his tail, shich you should hit with smth that has bleed on it. EZ 85k souls =)

Hi thank you for the very informative video. I was wondering, for the Raptor’s set which kind of boots are you using?
You can slay Knight Bernhal, the ashes of war vendor, for the beast champion set, which is a really good, high poise set.
This stops you from getting the Raging Wolf armor set- you’ll get both of those armor sets later if you don’t kill him.
Yeah, but it is really heavy, not really a starter set. You need like 18 end to equip the whole thing plus the weapon.
NOTE: You DO NOT have to beat the 3 bosses in the game to access D's armor, you just have to complete his quest line.
Which questline?
@@masoneldred516 D's quest line. Talk to him and go through all his dialog. You have to have killed Margit tho, then talk to Fia, (the girl that hugs you) then pick (may I ask a favor). She gives you a dagger, give the dagger to D. Open map and fast travel directly back to the roundtable (ik you're already there, you're just reloading the area). Then you'll notice a door open neat the blacksmith.

@@cadencollins4902 check through your inventory, you should see something like "shattered dagger", and when you talk to D pick the option that says something like "about that dagger"

I've gone with the twinned armour set along with the stone imp help. The stone imp helm has some great stats from what I can see. It is heavy though.
I've been rocking the kaiden set and I've got to say it's my favorite so far

For the first one there are other knights but I recommend fighting them with the horse
I really need to explore more, I’m level 50+ still with the armor I started with
I LOVE that Halo Scythe, it replaced my Winged Sctyhe as the Halo has a holy projectile
I got one of those reaper enemies that spawn near D when you first encounter him to kill him by standing infront of him while projectiles were being fired at me
Also to add the Raging Wolf armour set looks really cool although a little more steps to follow to get it

Godrick knight set looks really sweet. Also easy to get even right off the start
All the factions knight and soldier armor are pretty decent medium weight choices, there is a little variation on defense types between each one. If weight limited you can wear the chest piece and mix it with other lighter parts.
just a heads up if trying to get first set. youll get invaded by a pretty tough npc on second spot
The knife triggered for me after speaking to rogier, I like how the quests all chance and move around depending on who you talk to etc

In North east there is a guy in the shack that selling ash of war,if you kill him you can get armor and bell earing.its very good armor in the first playthrough
One that you could have added, if the banished knight set, its quite easy to farm at stormveil castl on rempart grace spawn, i was shocked by its stats, its heavy sure but all defense are high on it so
Totally agree. It is by far the best melee armor from all the others suggested by the video.
I got the Royal Remains armor before I defeated Godrick. I'm interested in that Raptor set now 😬
