You can just show up and talk to the lady in the chair by the bonfire and start the questline from there. From what I can tell it changes nothing, the invitation seems like its just in the world to let the player know that there's a questline in the Manor
Two things with this - i though I had missed the patches missions but I spoke to him just before i completed it and did his mission to the mountains. Means going through the capital and defeating a boss to get there. If you get swallowed by the Marionette to get to volcano mountain don't miss the cave route before jumping off the lava waterfall as you can't go back. Also don't kill or give the potion to Raya but visit her location before killing Rykard. Volcano Mountain is a huge side mission with loads of cool weapons and armour sets.

I got duped by the wall-looking door to the Greater Rune elevator in the Tower of Caelid and figured "well, that direction's no good, guess there's a bottom-to-top elevator somewhere lower". Proceeded to spend 2 hours falling off edges, getting killed by that black flame mob with a cool cape and then the boss himself, before finding out that there really is no elevator up from the room behind him, I'm just lowkey blind. I did think that this is a really over-the-top parkour section, but after all the silly jumping it took to even enter the tower, it didn't seem *that* far-fetched to just consider the Tower of Caelid the game's parkour check. Boss was definitely a fun challenge, though, as I only had ~700 hp at the time, at around level 70. At least most of his regular attacks didn't one-shot, only some of the blackflame ones that are easier to straight-up run away from.
In Volcano Manor there is an invisible wall behind the corpse in the first room of the hallway. From there you can explore the entire volcano manor and at the end you can even get to the Snake(the boss with the great rune) so you can defeat the boss even before entering the Capital. (Do yourself a favor and bring a friend in that bossfight ☠️)
You can staggerlock the snake if you have the FP for it. Do the first part of the weapon art but DON'T do the followup attack. Let your animation reset and do the charged L2 again. I recommend having some kind of Ash summon to distract for while you're sipping your Cerulean Flask. And yes. You can do this the whole fight. The WHOLE FIGHT.
I think the thing that makes that putrid spirit so hard is the same thing that makes the duo Crucible fight hard the damn room is super small for the range of attacks that's they have you have no room to move
Beat the Divine Tower boss at lvl 82 bc I wanted the Godslayer greatsword so bad. Definitely was under leveled and died 100 times but we made it through.🤝
If you're trying to beat the black knife assassin in sage's cave (the one who is invisible and constantly tries to backstab you) I reccomend the glintblade phalanx sorcery as the blades automatically fly towards the nearest enemy whether they're invisible or not instantly giving away where he is. He can be frustrating to fight without something like this.
You (thankfully for me) don't actually have to talk to Raya at all to do the manor questline! I ended up just making my way there via the ladders and Fullygrown's peak and walked through the front door. The only person to even mention the manor before that was Patches who just told me not to go there after he had his rainbow stone fun.
There is a corrupted elden tree boss at the bottom of Stormveil Castle. All hits were lethal and using the crystal sword barely scratched it. It was very fast, had an enormous reach and did 500+ a hit plus Ash rot and poison. I couldn't beat it.
I love how on the putrid tree spirit he said “it’s grab attack is a one shot even at my 38 vigor” I died XD. He was talking as if 38 vigor was a lot. If you want a melee build at least go for 50-60 vigor my dude XD

The boss in war dead catacombs drops the legendary ash summon and a golden seed with the fat purse of runes Totally worth the effort on 1st play through
would definitely have been a better addition compared to tibia or Rykard who are pretty obvious bosses. Hell even Mohg and Malenia are a lot more hidden than Rykard and they're great rune bosses too
Just want to note that *all* Godskin bosses (Apostles and Nobles) read your input when drinking a flask and throw a fireball at you, not just the one in Caelid. I really hate input reads.
The best bit about the first sword on this list is you can actually dual wield it without having to have 2 of them, I don't think other weapons allow this might be wrong
There are claws in storm veil castle after u beat mergit that have bleed, dash, and dual wield their absolutely amazing to get past the scarlet rot pool when going to get the golden scarab

As a mage, having no space to keep away from it while all of its moves cover a wide area and don't really give you time to cast any spells at it, really pissed me off. I died there so many times, it felt like it was even worse than some of the late game bosses (like the blonde dude that hurls lightning)
You dont have to use just the weapons ash of war for the god devouring serpent fight, you can use its normal moveset and it will still have the big ranged wind spear effect on your light and heavy attacks as well as its jumping attacks, the weapon can also be upgraded by the blacksmith so you dont have to struggle with its unupgraded dmg.
I think they were just ... pushing out content and not really paying attention for most of this. XD
@@buttersnow8707 just adds variety. Honestly its my top 3 favourite bosses by the unique weapon to defeat it and its transition, and also the manor questline was so fun
Best thing about mariner, you can give what he drops to a beast dude in Calid to make him have a drug trip, he does try to kill you breifly then tho
just beat that damn Godskin today after levelling up to 105 and getting the sword of night and flame to +5 with mimic spirit at +4. I told him I'd have revenge when he one shot me for the 20th time. vengeance is sweet but he's loot is sweeter 😋
good luck for the respawning teaming one ;)
@@tuyoufpazic5746 yeah I seen that one 😮💨
How did you get a ash of war in there? That’s the godskin apostle right? I couldn’t summon anything I had to solo it
something incredible ahead.. so to speak, praise the message!
Just stumbled back on your account. Grew up watching your build battle content, honestly happy to see you still have a thriving channel and community!
This wasn't josh in the video but yes it's great they're all doing good on Josh's channel
@@kacperkorol Oh really???! That sucks was it hacked?
@@123austinl no, Josh makes videos on this channel still. Hollow does too and this guy that you heard in this video, who sounds a bit like Josh but isn't Josh, it's quite odd tbh
@@kacperkorol Okay thanks for clarifying like I said I haven't seen this channel in a very longtime!
I got that Sword today it's a a solid weapon especially if you have an all black fashion set.
If you do this you will lock yourself out of some of the best armour sets in the game.
@@dogfood142 you can't do the quest after the bossfight? My target is still signed on the map
@@NadaNada-ch9uw if you beat rykard the npcs leave the manor so you can’t do the quest line
@@dogfood142 who cares blasphemous blade +10 abosulutely wrecks
I think the thing that makes that putrid spirit so hard is the same thing that makes the duo Crucible fight hard the damn room is super small for the range of attacks that's they have you have no room to move
The first time I came across the Full Grown Fallenstar Beast I hadn't encountered any of the other Fallenstar Beasts so I had a fun fight ahead
Now I'm gonna figure out where you found that shield! Great vid.
Great video, i checked all these off spoiler free. Thanks so much
Beat the Divine Tower boss at lvl 82 bc I wanted the Godslayer greatsword so bad.
Also hoarfrost stomp since it’s wide enough to hit him
You (thankfully for me) don't actually have to talk to Raya at all to do the manor questline!
If you want a melee build at least go for 50-60 vigor my dude XD
the women for valcano manner meeting her she will be in EITHER the grand lift of dectus OR lux ruins depending on how you got to altus and or if the lift was activated
I think the list is a little bit missing. I will give out some names that can be spoiler but they are a little hard to reach.
1. The Lich Dragon
2. Malenia,Sword of Miquella
3. Mohg( I believe there are 2 mohg’s)
4. Captain Niall
I’ve decided that the grafted scion will be the second to last boss I fight kinda as a reminder of my origins
I have a blood hound fang thing that's really really good and it does not stop attacking
Gotta say, props for the dragon/serpent thing for actually become a lord of the manor, Ik we kill him, but dragons have come along way from lazing around doing nothing pre dark souls
7:02 that's not where wormface is he's at the tree west of that one. The one you are pointing out doesn't have a boss just a group of enemies (they're easy to take down). But still has tears for your flask.
Already spent nearly 100 hours in this game and I just want to keep playing it whether that ng+ or just make a new character entirely. I love the previous from games but I don’t know how all be able to go back.
The boss in war dead catacombs drops the legendary ash summon and a golden seed with the fat purse of runes
Totally worth the effort on 1st play through
did you get to NG+4 and not get 60 vigor? cuz you got 4 miqella swords?
I had more trouble with the falling star beast & the snek than any other boass on this list
Where do you got your armor and helmet from ?
That serpent spear you can just attack with is and it will still do the air attacks so you don’t need fp for it
Did all of this have and gained 30+ levels just for the power to go out 👍🏼
your handling of spoilers is immaculate, my dude
There's also a pretty cool boss in the sewers beneath Leyndell, I imagine it's quite easy to miss that area entirely.
Bro blood omen dude has to be top 10 hardest bosses
@@treymcgougan5698 And that fight only shows his phase 1.
I actually got to the stronger version of him before the capital version, it was weird.
@@t0uchme343 where was he?
would definitely have been a better addition compared to tibia or Rykard who are pretty obvious bosses. Hell even Mohg and Malenia are a lot more hidden than Rykard and they're great rune bosses too
Legendary work man!
love how you look like Papa from Ghost
This Game is soo hard even for me that i played Dark Souls 1 and Dark Souls 3 for over 100 hours. But i love it.
theres a black knife assassin on the right of necromancer garris, if you just continue down the path past the two chests you will find the assassin.
@@yasinahmed6157 ohhh really, im going to go find them now and try them out!
Radahn's boss weapon also works like that.
Near the aeonian swamp farm is the war chief, another optional boss.
you make the game more fun for me!
“It feels like you can’t travel more than 30 seconds in this game without coming”
*Cheers bro I’ll drink to that*
"Unless you know there's something to down there your not likely to go"
I didn't know if there was anything down there and what was down there is not part of my build. But I'm the Repo man of Elden Ring, every thing is mine, they just don't know it yet
3:19
HAHA dodged an arrow attack because you were pulling the lever. hilarious
I've been using the katana from the start and have no problems clearing most content
Rykkard can be accessed with a secret way to get down there, but it’s pretty annoying to try and get to and a little more annoying to go through
Im disappointed at the lack of Regal Ancestor Spirit.... its totally optional, but bloody hell is it a hauntingly beautiful fight. The music is just sublime.
I suck at doing sidequests in Elden Ring. I progressed past some of them lol.
The war dead catacombs were so annoying to find, I searched like 2 hours cause on top of the hill was a guiding statue that pointed to the beach but I already searched that areas wall, apart from the very end cause the door kinda blends in. So I kinda cliffjump/climp my way at the top got to a giant that always one hit me tryed him and after the frustration, I decided to check the beach again and felt really stupid
I'll be honest I didn't even know you could make it to the top of caleid tower
You can make it to the bottom too. Bring lions claw and introduce the boss to the ground.
That filthy bastard has not cleaned in decades. Show him how filthy that floor is.
There's a wiki page for the map folks it is interactive you can check stuff off and it will disappear from the map. You're welcome.
That parkour had me stuck for 20 min, I couldn’t land that bounce off to the platform with the elevator
Great content, thanks
I found at least 5 of these mariners and 2 of which were not ones mentioned here which means i have 2 more to find
I've been trying to figure out how to get to bottom of the Devine tower for ages. Only reason I know there is something down there was failing countless jumps
Bout the bottom divine tower one there a breakable pillar somewhere that when you fall on it bring you right to the elevator before bottom found it by dumb luck lol descend the ladder from shortcut then hug the ledge to the right till you see the cracked pillar
You may think the grafted scion was the first thing to take my life but it was actually the cliff right as you leave the church
Dr. Toboggan was the toughest
Oh my god thank you, I really wanted to shoot Comet Azur with 70 int at the first enemy in the game/the ass that stabbed me too many times.
Seeing 2 bosses like this at once just makes my sphincter pucker
Man this game is massive
You know it’s be real great if you’d show which tower to use the stone key on because their are 3.. and 2 are a waste
The game has only been out for like a week. Already there are ppl uploading guides. Crazy.
thens for the cheese landing on top of the elevator in bottom caelid divine tower cheers dude, keep doing pro and noob video series for life pease
The shield in the beginning looks fun to use lol
I see the "Stingray" and the "Giant" have made their way to the Elder Ring kkkkk
Great content sir I appreciate it I had missed half of them and I’m trying to tie things up before killing the final boss and going to new game+
