FYI The Warning just released on Sirius Xm an Alanis Morissette cover of You Oughta Know, and they slay it. It is Awesome especially dany`s vocals, epic.
@@thesoundbusAlso Dani does a guitar solo with Halestorm guitarist to the song "Familiar taste of Poison on one of their recent Canada concert that also included Evanescence.
Just saw their first live performance of "Apologize" at the Toronto show. It was worth the wait. A few nights earlier Dany got to play guitar with Halestorm at their Quebec show and she absolutely rocked it.
@paulrowe006 yeah, great show! We saw everything - Dany forgot to change guitars (thank you Ale) - APOLOGIZE! (Killed it) - even the wild life couldn't handle Pau's Scream of Destruction (that bee got outta there quick)
Are you the last man standing? Good luck going solo... You must do the updated version of Dust to Dust/Dull Knives (cut better) Live at the Pepsi Center cdmx .. it's friggin brilliant.. 💥🤯💥🌎✌️
Actually, this October 2023 Pepsi Center show in Mexico City along with two other shows in the country marked the last leg of and end of their 2023 ERROR WORLD TOUR and were also an official celebration of their TENTH ANNIVERSARY as a band. That's why they pulled out all the stops production-wise and included great lighting rigs, large screens, confetti cannons, extended-front-of-stage runways for Dany and Ale, a grand piano, and of course, a full string ensemble. Oh and at this point, the Pepsi Center show audience was the largest one to which they'd ever played as the sole headliner; a sold out crowd of 8,000. To beat that, monumental achievement, coming up in February 2025, they'll be playing TWO Mexico shows, which sold out in record time MONTHS ago to two audiences of 10,000. Mind-blowing, eh? Yeah, they're getting more well known and popular around the world. It won't be too much longer until they become household names. Well, at least that's what we the diehard fans are hoping for. They deserve it.
They'll play two other shows early next year besides the two in Mexico City. One is near Guadalajara and one in their hometown o Monterrey. Those of us who have dreamed of seeing them live in their home country but missed out on the now sold-out Mexico City shows can still get tickets to the other two shows.
@CraigCholar , yes I know about those other shows. I was just highlighting the two that'll have their largest headlining crowds over and above that of the Pepsi Center. That's all. Thanks.
This is great!! Just saw them LIVE Wednesday night in Toronto for the second time this year!!! They played Apologize for the first time LIVE, what a treat!!!!
Every performance in this concert is top notch and they only included 2 songs from their new album! They have a new concert in Mexico City in February 2025, can’t wait to see what they have in store for us then. They up their game every year in CDMX!!😊🎶⚡️
That was spectacular. They get better and better. Check out the video of the cover of Alanis Morissette's You Oughta Know on SiriusXM. Dany shines and Ale and Pau show a different side we haven't seen.
The white guitar Dani is playing on this song was a gift from Lzzy Hale of Halestorm. Presented to her onstage when Dani was about to begin a song, when The Warning was touring with Halestorm
Quien iba a pensar que hoy Paulina es la mejor baterista de rock del planeta, que Dany hoy es la mejor interprete de rock del planeta y Ale la mejor bajista de calidad del planeta ,tres grandes que llegaron a salvar el ROCK
This whole concert is incredible, especially Pau during Black Holes and Breathe and Dany during When I'm Alone... Ale's backing vocals (Choke, MORE, HYCAD) are great too!
Sounds like the Bus got ran over by a Mac Truck! In a good way of course. Great choice to check out. One of my all time favorites by them, and the best version to date. DPA, All The Way! ⚡
Soy honesto, cada que las veia en vivo en RUclips y seguía esa cancion la adelantaba. Pero ahora que me di el tiempo de escucharla , veo que es una buena versión.
This is the 10th Anniversary of The Warning Concert at the Pepsi Center Mexico City. They have released the entire concert on thier channel. It's the best concert so far. Next is the 2 concerts in Mexico City and Monterey Mexico in February Next year. ⚠️ ⚡🤘
Great seeing you again!! My suggestions from this same concert are “Dust to dust/Dull Knives” it’s powerful and amazing and then “Black Holes” and “Breathe” Pau sings solo in piano. The full concert versions got better subtitles of this songs (very important to understand what Pau has to say!!)
The sisters are hitting on all cylinders and yes, they will be big. We are here for it. Enjoyed your reaction. Subbed for more The Warning. Would also like your reaction on Al Stewart's The Year of The Cat. I think someone with your background would enjoy this song for it's technical as well it's artistic merits.
It's the harmonies that make this version so good these ladies are incredible performers. Gonna miss it on the setlist it's been a huge part of their journey now with the new album they have an abundance of crazy good songs. Checkout Dust to Dust/Dull Knives from this show it's a huge banger combining 2 songs from QOTMS concept album it's insanely good. Great reaction thank you.
Great reaction...Best Rock band right now and in several decades IMO! They absolutely killed this (well all 23 songs as well) and this is my favorite version now...including Metallica. The strings were Rudy's idea I heard, musicians from local school/college....just brilliant.
Agree on all counts !!! Their first cover of this song as kids is Good ! Their music video/studio version with Alessia Cara is Better version ! Their Live at Teatro Metropólitan was a Great Version ! But this Live at Pepsi Center is THE EPIC Version !!!! ⚡Viva The WARNING⚡ NWSU/FloorFan/Epican/Ayreonaut/TWA/PauFan🤘😎🤘.
Everything you said i could've have said it any better they are truly great the more I play their music the I like them I constantly find myself watching their concerts on RUclips at least once a day long live the warning
First, this particular version in this venue was quite epic. Easily a soundtrack material. Second, as others have suggested, there are 5 must see current performances you might want to react to. 1) B2B songs from the same show … Dust to Dust / Dull Knives. You’ll love the transition between songs. 2) B2B songs from the same show … Black Holes / Breathe. Pau-centric and she was brilliant. 3) SiriusXM performance / cover of ‘You Oughta Know’. They did what they do best. Making a song their own. 4) Halestorm inviting Dany on stage to play on one of their songs. She shredded. 5) First time performing ‘Apologize’ on their last North American show. Bonus: Pol’ and Rock performances of Sharks and Evolve. IMO, the stage lighting was the 4th member of the band. Just spectacular and the best showcase of the ladies. Thanks for your reactions. These should keep you busy. 🙂🤘🏼
I go back to Elvis and The Beatles. I've seen it all. And I've never been so excited about a band since Chicago. The Warning is clearly the best rock band today. They are fine musicians. They write catchy songs with creative lyrics. And finally, they take total command of the stage. They will soon be a superstar band. They might be there already.
Hi ya! Didn't know you were also reacting alone! Such an epic version of this song ... was their 10 year anniversary concert, and brilliant. Thanks for reacting to this song again (different version), from one bass man to another ... you rock dude!!! 🤘 TWA⚡UK
Speaking of iconic songs, they recently covered Alannis Morisette’s You Oughta Know in a live studio session at Sirius XM and slayed it: ruclips.net/video/B1zZA72GWl4/видео.htmlsi=lHAsBqNX3DWjNQdX 😎👍
@@thesoundbus glad to hear it - you two are hilarious! I think you both did the Teatro Metropolitan version of this which I actually think is technically better. (Harmonies are tighter and the girls instruments aren't overwhelmed by the strings). However, this is now the 4th version and takes it to new levels of epicness!
I'm going on 78 and my college years were the heyday of the classic guitar bands (The Beatles, The Stones, The Who, Cream, and others) and you have to go that far back to find a rock band that is as prodigious. And only The Beatles can approach them when it comes to writing the kind of hook-based earworms that you hum or sing to yourself in the shower or while folding the laundry. There are better bands instrumentally (Band Maid, for example) but no other band I'm aware of can write one song after another that's great without ever s filler. Even The Beatles-with their numerous great hit songs-wrote the occasional filler. The Warning never does.
As good as their covers are (in many ways, better than originals!), their own songs are even better. This entire 23 song Pepsi Center tenth anniversary show is phenomenal. Pau makes 8000 people cry at least twice, with her piano. Dany gets them crying again, with her solo rendition of *When I'm Alone.* There are so many killer moments.
I love this band. But I have to say that on this song that Dany is a little pitchy in places-which might be due to the fact that they were all sick. I wish they had considered using just a tiny bit of pitch correction on the final release. She doesn't normally need it at all, but I think under the circumstances it would have been warranted here. Those slightly off notes make me cringe, especially during the harmonies.
You said "subtle differences" and that made me giggle. The song is entirely different, different key, tempo, the structure is radically changed, no lead break, back vocals. I mean it's a totally different song, but still retains all of its essence. It's a great interpretation, but subtle? ... It is not.
FYI The Warning just released on Sirius Xm an Alanis Morissette cover of You Oughta Know, and they slay it. It is Awesome especially dany`s vocals, epic.
