Loved the reaction. What can you say about Dany that hasn't been said. To me, she has become THE BEST front person of any band around. Don't know if you saw during D2D, but her interaction with the crowd, the camera, is second to none IMHO. Also, Dany's guitar playing is now top notch. She definitely knows her way around those frets now. The lengthening of D2D at the end was awesome. Hard as rock as well. Loved it.
They have a great stage presence, all of them. But the other day I heard something interesting. Someone was wondering if it would be possible to bring in someone to play the guitar and let Dany be the singer alone. If you've seen Dany with Three Days Grace, you'll have noticed that she's fire without the guitar. But the guitar will always limit her mobility. Now if they could find someone who can be the guitar player (and I know it's hard to bring someone new into this family/band), I think Dany would just explode. Not many bands makes people's imagination fly like this, this is because we all can see their enormous potential
I saw The Warning for the second time in Dublin in July. I introduced a friend to them a few weeks prior and took him along. From seeing them on RUclips, he was most impressed with Pau. But at the end of the concert, he said that he couldn't take his eyes off Dany, she was so magnetic and mesmerising! We have another convert! 😁
@YourGuitarPlayerAndSinger Just don't do anything that makes Pau feel so slighted she quits. She's as critical to them as Dani, and she's competitive and Dani knows it and give her a lot of oxygen to work in. If adding to the band, be sure it benefits Pau as well as Dani. Maybe a good candidate would be say, Mia Morris. She's good on guitar, and good enough on drums to let Pau out front sometimes too. Can sing well enough to back them, seems to have a decent ego/personality, same age as Pau (i think). Might have trouble in Spanish but bet she would learn fast.
Pau has always been there. But, I agree, Dany has grown the most over the past year. She always played good, and then sang good, but now she plays, sings and demands the crowd play with her. I am hoping Ale comes next. Can't wait.
I have literally not missed a single day listening to something from The Warning since I first saw their cover of Enter Sandman back in mid June 2015. In those early days all there was from them was covers, but I could never get enough of them. My wife tells me I am obsessed, and I simply say yup! I have now have had the distinct honor of meeting and seeing them live twice. Best live band I have ever experienced. I believe they are absolutely the greatest power trio of all time, and I plan to go see them every time they get within 300 miles of my location. LONG LIVE THE VILLARREAL SISTERS!
This band has captured me like no other has done since Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band did in the 80s. I've now seen them over 30 times. So far, ive only seen the Warning the one tome in Jaoan with Band Maid. But im seeing them 5 times in four ciubtrues over the next few months! LA, Guadalajara, Cologne, Germany, and London. The Warning completely inhabit a song. They dont just perform it. I love your passion! Keep it up!
Combing these two epic songs makes it the ultimate banger. DPA owned that stage and crowd with this explosion of excellence I'm blown away by their amazing talent. Great reaction Red you rock love your reactions thank you. 🔥⚡
They are just so good. That bassline at the end of Dull Knives was heaven! You're right the Mohammed Ali quote does sum up Pau's drumming. I like it! I think the best complement I can pay this band is you could drop them in any decade since the 70's and they'd fit right in.
Right on! I always run their music through a 70’s filter in my mind, that’s when I came of age. The gatekeepers of the music industry would have fought to keep a trio from Mexico out back then but their music would have dominated. They were created for such a time as this when they could circumvent the establishment and bring their craft straight to the people through social media.
Thanks for pointing out Pau's drumming style. Being a former drummer myself, my ear is tuned to the percussion then the bass, etc. Also now in my advanced years, it is so wonderful to hear a drummer with such varied tools to pull from. To me she is a mix of Keith Moon, Gavin Harrison and Neil Peart. Drummers that didn't just keep time, but played the song. Of course Pau has the luxury of Ale keeping time so she can focus on playing and singing.
Just remember Neil joined Rush in his early 20s. DPA have been musicians there whole lives. They have unmatched potential and passion. I'm a believer and am a huge Rush, Triumph, Scorpions, Def leppard fan among many other rock bands. I'm seeing them in Detroit in 2 days less than a mile from where I saw Rush several times in the 80s and can't wait. Some of us get it....that's fine with me. 😊
@@jamesmosier6697 Thank you. The comparison is not about what they play or even their ability. It's about how both bands came to be in this industry and what they went through to get where they are. And then a 15 year old Pau, conjures this masterpiece of a metaphorical verse "Needles piercing through my brain Slowly inflicting the pain I'm plucking roses but keeping the thorns!" Numerous poets in literature have cautioned us about the dangers of thorns in a bush of roses. For a moment I thought you were going to have a musical orgasm. I was about to change the channel. But I understand that this is the way you enjoy music. What a relaxing voice you have.
The only bad side about the Warning (besides losing sleep listening to Z for the sixty-fourth and sixty-fifth time) is that they make all other music taste... well... bland?
1:04 Speaking of poor drums - have you seen new Nightwish "An Ocean Of Strange Islands"? Drumming madness by Kai! 🤯(On par with his work in Wintersun).
LOL. " More like a jazz drummer? "No. She is a rock drummer through and through. She is the opposite of a jazz drummer. She is all power. Great drummer. But she does not play with grace. She also hold the sticks in a match grip. Not a jazz grip.
Some of the new songs I have spotted her low key sneaking some trad grip past the rock police; but your not wrong. I think what she meant with the Ali quote, is jazz drummers make it look easy working with finesse (unless they're feeling a bit of Krupa). While rock drummers make it look hard working with power. Pau kind of mixes up the showmanship between easy and hard.

I am over 70 and been a muso for a great deal of my life, and I can honestly say the this band has something very extra, and I haven't a clue what it is, but I have never seen it before!
The original Dull Knives sounds quite basic . Very good but basic. Years of live playing and this song now kicks maxium arse, to mis-quote Metallica. With three pairs of legs.
Hey RHN, they are f'n awesome af. I love the first 2 albums/cds. They will be a huge band if they keep working their tush's off. Great reaction 👍👍🤘🤘🤘
