What I find astounding is that there's no ceiling for these ladies. The previous concert they released is still great, but this one so far has been a step up from even that. I can't wait to see them again.
A rarely played extended version of Dust to dust and long may it continue . Even if you are a talented band you won't get to this level without playing many , many concerts in a row , and now they have got it down to a tee !

Astounding... that they wrote these monster songs way back when. Can't believe that the album they're from (Queen of the Murder Scene) was released at the end of 2018. Absolutely love the extended outro on Dust to Dust here, and joining it to Dull Knives is a masterstroke. The perfect answer to people who claimed Dull Knives was too short! These girls live for the live performances and never fail to entertain.
If you're looking for votes for next songs, I'd throw my hat in for Narcisista. Either the one from Teatro where Pau had her drum teacher sit in for her while she sang the song as a front woman, or the version from Foro Didi where they played it for the first time. Or maybe both, to see the difference in the feel of Pau's delivery.

Yes, three vocalists, three piano players, three composers, three writers, three performers, one supermodel who does Pepsi Black ads in Mexico, one music video co-director who is also a winner of two international awards for rock drumming... This concert was their TENTH anniversary as a band, and they were 23, 21, and 18 there! That was not quite a year ago. Don't miss any of the songs from this 2023 Pepsi Center CDMX concert. They are slowly releasing them, and will probably have a 23-song concert video at some point.

Lest you forget Coaches...not only is Pau drumming at an extreme high level, and singing, she is also running the show from her Laptop next to her as well...she is the Queen of multi-tasking and her talents are beyond reproach in Rock and Roll. Love the reaction.

The band added the outro on D2D to go right into DK, which greatly adds to the transition. It was a real treat for the audience, and for us fans. Mrs. Coach was spot on with her description of the songs.... Astounding is perfect.

Yes, this show certainly is astounding. And I will say this, if it isn't released on DVD/bluray, it will be a crime against all of humanity. The extended "Dust To Dust" outro does not have any business being as good as it is. Now, if Ale just had played the extended "Dust To Dust" intro she did at Whisky a Go Go, which reminds me of the intro to Iron Maiden's "The Red And the Black" it would have been a 12 out of 10, and not the 11 out of 10 it is now. And the seamless transition into "Dull Knives", well, no words needed, which is just as well, because there aren't any.
They are releasing all the performances from this Pepsi Centre show, pro shot in 4K, in front of their biggest headlining crowd to date of 8000, so I would suggest to use this show if the song recommended is available.

Both songs are from their second album, "The Queen Of The Murder Scene." All songs on that albums are special. That album is a concept album that is basically a musical novel. This album was the idea of Paulina. She came to her sisters with a lot of lyrics and riffs and Dani said, "Why is their so much blood."

Seeing the performance of Survive at TedX was my first exposure to The Warning, but seeing a video of Dust to Dust (Lunario) convinced me to become a Patreon, which I remain to this day, as the tier in question included Queen of The Murder Scene - D2D being the opening track - a complete concept album conceived by a then 15? year-old Paulina and I knew if they kept this up they would only go on to greater heights.
Seeing them in London, UK, last year was the first time I experienced the D2D/DK mash-up. If you check out those tracks from this show (though only fan cams, and the channel with the best footage - Room of Mirrors - sadly seems to have been taken down) as soon as the crowd clicked that they were going straight to Dull Knives, the volume palpably increased and kept going up until the end of DK.
There's some "Pau Cam" footage and while the camera person is standing next to a drum kit that's having seven shades of sh*t being beaten out of it you can hear the crescendo of the crowd in the background!
That's awesome. They have truly matured as artists.

Playing drumming and singing isn't just difficult due to coordination, but playing drums in a rock concert is akin to running a marathon in terms of physical exertion. Apparently Pau practices by singing while she runs.

By the way, talk about astoundjng, all three girks were sick that night and they turned in the performance of a lifetime.
Note about Breathe: This song is very personal to Pau, but she decided to play it for this crowd of 8,000 after viwing to never play I t live when she agreed to have it put on the Error album. They had plated in front of much karger audiences befire, but tgat was when they opened fir a big name artist like Gun n Roses and Foo Fighters. Tgese 8,000 people came to see THEM! Have a tissue handy when you watch these two songs, especially Breathe.

*Dust to Dust*
*Dust to Dust* is the prologue song on DPA/TW's _"Queen of the Murder Scene"_ concept album (aka QOTMS)... it is inviting you in to hear the deep, dark, and foreboding story of a young woman apparently in love with someone that doesn't even know she exists... it is a story about how well things can appear to be going and how fast it can all fall apart... it follows her battles between good and evil over her soul...
the Spanish speaking part is their manager, Rudy, playing the part of a preacher at the funeral... translated to English, this is what he says...

DPA/TW's _"Queen of the Murder Scene"_ is one of those concept albums best experienced by listening to it from beginning to end in order... listening to each of the songs piecemeal and out of order is like trying to figure out a movie by catching a portion near the end, one from near the beginning, and one near the middle... yeah, it won't work out very well... their performance of it at Lunario was the first time the album was presented in full to the public... it had been released over time in chapters of three songs each and the last three songs were presented here to complete the album... i like Lunario because it was the first public performance, the animations on the big screen behind Pau, and the girls were in character... others prefer their presentation of QOTMS at another venue for various reasons...
as a concept album, many of us members of TWA can easily see QOTMS as a movie or Broadway stage performance... it is that good and to think it was written by them at a very young age and released as their 2nd album! i mean... whoa! who does that?? 😹
Fun Fact: Rudy plays the part of a preacher in two of DPA/TW's tracks... the 1st one is in *Dust to Dust* off the QOTMS album... the 2nd is in the OMV for their 3rd Spanish track, *Qué Más Quieres* ... while you cannot hear it in the OMV, he does actually say the same part in both...

I just saw them in Brooklyn. They were amazing. Unfortunately, they didn't do D2D or DK either night (let alone both); likely we won't see those again soon as they're promoting "Keep Me Fed". They did MARTIRIO, Z, Choke, Narcisista, Evolve, and Money, which for a 15 song set with 2 encores was great. They performed at The Warsaw, designed as a huge community hall for the once massive Greenpoint Polish community. I sat at the very front of the balcony as I couldn't stand; the 2nd night Rudy was right next to me. It was crazy, the whole balcony, supposedly designed to withstand a small earthquake, was shaking. It was Ale! (My teeth, bones, and blood were all vibrating). I worried: "This was made to withstand an earthquake, but can it withstand Ale???"
I've lived in Brooklyn my whole life and it's filled with every nationality imaginable, including many Mexican-Americans. (The neighborhood I grew up in had a large Mexican community). They showed up in droves, most not even knowing about The Warning before the recent interview of Dany, Pau, and Ale on Telemundo or the announcements of the concerts on the radio. I spoke with many Mexican families who were in awe and so proud; they asked me about DPA and I tried to describe the remarkable talent of DPA as best as possible, but I emphasized:: "They are the best Rock Band in the world; Thank you!" Both shows were, off course, sold out.
Thanks for sharing this experience. It's awesome that new people continue to discover them. Despite being around a while, we feel they are just getting started.

*Dull Knives*
a dull knife tears instead of making a clean cut... torn wounds are very hard to repair... in this 9th song of the concept album, "Queen of the Murder Scene" (aka QOTMS), the Queen is considering suicide as one way to possibly stop her evil side from taking hold... by using a dull knife, she is making it harder for someone to stop the bleeding and save her if she is found before she expires...
in another of the songs on the QOTMS album, *Sinister Smiles* , the lyrics talk about the water in a tub turning red from blood... this is seen as a female way of suicide because the tub would keep the mess all contained and not mess up other parts of the location...
to me, the lyric "I'm plucking roses but keeping the thorns!" is about seeing, gathering, and embracing beauty while retaining only the darkness and gloom that was used to create and protect that beauty... that's some pretty deep stuff, there!

These ladies are truly astounding and I am so glad I found them. The more songs I hear the more I realise how much I love this band. Also it is heartwarming watching you guys dig their music so much. I actually have tickets for their concert in London next year and I'm already excited with anticipation!
If you want more The Warning they dropped a clip from the same concert a few days ago with Pau performing Black Holes on the piano. It is quite astounding as well!
