Tbh, Yo Gotti is a legend in Tennessee not because he’s very successful, but he’s been around since the Mid-90s and he went by the name Lil Yo’ at that time, and he was dope. He slowly got worse at time as a rapper, but even more successful as a CEO.
Right his old shit is goated. Once he got industry, he got worse as time went on.
Yep, not only was he dope in the 90s, he also mastered the Triplet Flow at a young age, which is crazy to me. The 2000s was his peak decade for his rap career, but his rap skills would slowly get worse over time. 2013 was start the decline of his rap career and the rising success as a CEO of the rap label “CMG”.

If you would have lived in memphis right around in the mid-late 00's to the early 2010's, you would def know how gotti came about. Like most artists, he was hard when he was hungry and looking for the comeup. 5 star was definitely one of his first singles (to blow up major), but he been had hits for the m-town. Of course now he's just playing the role of running a label and doesnt too much care about his music now.

Armed and dangerous and 3 am are also pretty great von songs if youve never heard them but they arent melodic just kinda in the same lane as crazy story. i hope u fw some of them if u give them a listen sometime

Flex and finessing by Speaker Knockerz is a dope SK song too it's probably my favorite, and Dap You Up is dope too. Also I listen to Knockout by Yung Gravy but his other songs are too inconsistent for me to put myself through giving him another chance
