I learned something called Needlessness, i.e. things I used to take for granted were stripped from me on the inside, so I had no choice but to do without. I remember I started appreciating meals, even though I wouldn't eat all my food, if they didn't have what I could tolerate. And I'd be excited to get a refill on that dollar-store fruit punch they served at dinner sometimes. It's dope now cuz everything's a bonus for me. Showering, cutting my finger nails, changing my underwear, going out to restaurants, going to the grocery store. I love it. Jail made me appreciate life more.
