    Great stuff Sir, like your relaxed style, I see a lot of similarities, and just ordered the stove to go with my TentTipi. One of my Q’s was whether it came with the spark arrester and your video solved this for me. Thank you and take care !

    Hello mate. They have Christmas earlier in your neck of the woods then?...lol. That is a really nice bit of kit and you were right it does something I'd never seen before.That should be the mutts nuts in tour new tent mate. Pricey though, no wonder I didn't get an Aston Martin in my stocking...lol Watching this video has convinced me I made the right choice when I was deciding what to get you for Christmas though. Please give my regards to the beautiful J. I hope you both have a wonderful Christmas. Be safe and be lucky man.

Bonkers! Looking forward to using it in the new tent soon. I'm excited now 😂 been watching the vid to see if I get any tips! 😂 Have a brilliant Christmas Wol. Take it easy bud.

    Im glad they brought back the Nomad with the double view glass. I was looking at getting the Woodlander, but the windows seem small on it. Im also really glad to see Winnerwell have some internal double combustion. Curious if the other new stoves have that, like the new Woodlander and the Pentagon.
    Keep up the good work.
    Cheers

      Hey there Techlore thanks for dropping in. This stove has a lot more combustion potential and features in general thany other Winnerwell and any tent stove I have owned previously. She is a very solid unit which is very reassuring. I'm not sure how I feel about the external air feed at the moment. When I eventually get out to use it, I shall report back. Thanks for the comment. Take care.

      Hiya bud. I have had it for a couple of years pal. It does it's job. Can take a load up to about 50kg. It's easy to push or pull as the wide wheels don't sink into the mud. It comes with a canopy too 😂 think they go for about £150ish good for carting gear around or collecting firewood. Merry Christmas to you and the lads m8

    How long of a burn time do you get with the new design? The original has about a 2 hour burn time when packed

    • @BushcraftWithSteOutdoors
      @BushcraftWithSteOutdoors  4 месяца назад +1

      I can say that with the logs I burned in the video and no more burned for more than 1.5 hours! As it was going dark when I wrapped up filming. I think the distribution of air holes throughout the stove makes a big difference when compared to a traditional front vent stove. This one burns more like a home style log burner. I will report back in a future video when I have more use from it. Thanks for stopping by pal. Take it easy.

    great video. ive been looking at this stove for my tipitent. but my stoveplacement is in the middle by the centerpole, so a pipe laying across the floor isnt ideal. can you use this stove without the external air pipe without trouble? no other stove has this big double glass. the stove im using atm is a robens kobuk, great stove but i would really want to see the flames from all angles. the new pentagon stove looks great, but the cooking surface seems to be abit small for my taste.. warm greeting from Sweden

    • @BushcraftWithSteOutdoors
      @BushcraftWithSteOutdoors  6 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks for commenting Zoran. You will be pleased to know that the stove operated perfectly well without the Flexi pipe. There was plenty of oxygen supply for the fire to burn. I suppose it's just the same as a traditional design tent stove with the air inlet on the rear instead of the front. The glass does set it apart from others on the market 😉 All the best.

      @@BushcraftWithSteOutdoors thanks for the fast answer mate. i will buy that stove in the future then. just need to "use up" my robens stove :P its not stainless so its quite rusted after a few years of use! btw how is the warping on the stovetop? ive hear that stainless tends to warp abit. my robens iron stove is 100% flat still, and ive had it glowing red many times!

      Hey there buddy thanks for stopping by. I can honestly tell you I have no worries about this stove heating the northgaze tent. In fact it may be overkill haha. I also have the winnerwell fast fold titanium stove and that heats the rock fortress easily. Thanks again bud. Take care.
