47 year old INFP here. Single. And I have no desire to be in a relationship. My friends find this very odd. I don't understand why the world thinks everyone is meant to be part of a pair. I relate to this video!
I agree! I am happier now than I have been in any relationship. I have not been in a relationship for going on 12 years now and VERY happy. To me, being in a relationship has proven to be far lonelier than being "alone".
🤣 "Maybe you should book a weekend getaway for you and the boys so I can have some time to myself" . That´s literally me! I have said that to my husband so often (only difference with don´t have boys but two girls). My perfect vacation is staying home alone while my family is vacationing elsewhere 😃 People always ask if I miss them and if I don´t feel lonely. The answer is no and no. 😘
@@thirstwithoutborders995 There's nothing wrong with an AirBnB. Yet, you don't know in advance if it's really quiet and if the mattress is ok. My husband regulary goes hiking/ skiing / camping with the kids for about 4 days, and I have the house to myself. I don't need to pack stuff and to drive. I can sleep long, go for walks ir go to my favorite lake to swim and eat the best fries in the world there. Some days ago my husband asked me about my favorite holidays and I told him it's either a wellness hotel with pools, sauna and an own room for myself or me being alone at home.
I don't think she meant their children-- in the context of a man and "the boys," it usually means him and his friends (like "the girls" would refer to a woman's friends). She's literally tell him to go spend the weekend with his friends instead of her. There's no children involved.
Yes! I kept telling my sons dad to go see his friends or the one brother that lives out of state (his other two live with their parents still). He went once to each but I don’t think his friend or brother really like him so it’s unfortunately not something I can really get him to do. It was most definitely nice while he was gone though & our son was at the grandparents (dads parents bc they live about 5mins away) and I had to work, plus he’s there weekends anyways so that’s how I have my work schedule set up.
“Yawning-because I’m tired all the time even when I get a full night’s rest.” So true. To those of us with sleep conditions it’s very hard to socialize. We literally just don’t have the energy to be extroverts.
Dude right! This video was me in a nutshell. I’m single because I just don’t put any effort into having relationships. All of the friends I have have been because they forced their way in😅. @Kam Same! I’m about to be 27 in a few days and every time I talk to a family member I haven’t seen in a while one of the first questions is “any boyfriends yet?”
I'm an INFP married to an ESTJ (for 27 years). I can honestly say that watching your 16 personality videos have helped me understand my husband....it's seriously helped us so much!! And also, you are so spot on with this video---love this new character! It's me!
@@nathalie_desrosiers It is painful. That combo is my parents. But they're still together and happy at least half the time. It helps that I'm an INFP so my ESTJ mom can't say my INFP dad is just crazy (she used to). She's still accepting that people are different, not better or worse.
I am an INFP and my older sister is ESTJ! I feel like we are quite close and she's comfortable to tell me about her day and herself. Do you know Overcooked? That coop game about chefs that people said will ruin friendships and relationships with the constant yelling and swearing? Nope, that never happened with us. My sister and i played Overcooked and i'd say those gameplay hours were calm. She's in charge of splitting the tasks between us, "I'll do A and B, and you can do C and D. How's that sound?" "Are you struggling doing that task? let's switch, imma do C and you can do my A task." And i'm the one who calms the atmosphere down so we can have space to focus, "it's okay if you died, i can hold on for another 30 seconds (the respawn cooldown time)." "It's okay to fail this stage now, there's always the restart button."
Can confirm. My husband proposed to me alone in our living room. I wondered why he was being so formal about it. But at least we were completely alone. Any audience would have been mortifying.

"If you ever propose to me in somewhere more public than our living room, I will say no." Very true. And you left out the fact that it cannot be a family gathering in the living room. But seriously, public proposals might be great for certain people, but not even all extroverts like that idea because it takes away the option to say "no" or "I'm not sure if I'm ready yet, let me think about it" for most people, and can lead to a yes followed by getting the ring thrown back at you a hour later when you're alone or suddenly being ghosted as she runs away with the rock on her hand. Or you can date an INTJ who will just say no outright on the principle of the matter of trying to force her into a position to be manipulated, because that doesn't work on us. Basically, if you're doing it in public, you need to be super confident that you know your girl and that she'll enjoy the attention rather than see it as forcing her hand.
I am an INTJ and flat out told my (INFJ) boyfriend that if he ever proposed to me, to not make it an elaborate thing or do it in front of a bunch of people. When he did pop the question, we were alone in the car because there were too many people loitering where he had originally wanted to do it. 😆
I was a bit annoyed with my husband for deciding to take a van load of people to make sure he had witnesses…they weren’t right there, but I knew they were around. Definitely made it less romantic. Oh well. Been married almost 18 years.
I was pretty disappointed with my proposal, we are both introverts, but I wanted it semi-public in some pretty outdoor space. Not for attention, just for atmosphere. The living room just wasn't it.
0:50 I felt so identified with the "I'm fine. No, really that's not a code for anything, I just have a perpetually disappointed looking face." I don't know where the stereotype that women say that they're fine when they aren't comes from, but in my case I'm very open with my emotions and a lot of times, as a quiet and unfriendly resting face girl, boyfriends would think that I'm mad when I really am not
Yeah.. I never really got that whole "if she says she's fine, then she's not fine" thing. A lot of my female friends say it's correct for them tho🤷🏾♀️. If you ask me how I am, I am most likely to just tell you the truth: "I'm really happy today, I got a new tab!" or "I am very tired at the moment, I didn't sleep last night."
I don't do the "I'm fine" thing, except if I'm upset about something that's none of the inquiring person's business, or we're in public and I want to discuss it in private. This happens once every few years or so. But then the person usually doesn't get the hint, and they say "well, clearly you're NOT fine." Then I get angry, or I get frustrated that they keep asking me about it and start crying. By then I'm not even upset about whatever the first thing was, I'm upset about this friend or relative giving me a hard time, and meanwhile they are still sitting there like "Wow, she is so sad about XYZ situation. Have a hug, poor girl."
Rofl these are hilarious. INFJ married to INTP for almost 15 years now. Sometimes our dates consist of going for coffee and us both reading our phones in silence. He is also the only person I’ve ever spent all night talking to on the phone when we were dating. That’s when I knew he was the one.
Whoa. He stayed on the phone with you all night? My husband and I are both INTPs, and we don't really talk on the phone. The one exception was back in 2009, while we were dating, he once read me a book over the phone while I was sick with H1N1. Neither of us enjoy being on the phone. LOL

I’m an INTP in a new relationship with another introvert. Several weeks in, and I am still explaining myself in minute detail with supporting arguments and scientific evidence as is appropriate. Give me this dudes number. I will explain you too. We should just go ahead and write the manual. The trick is giving it to them at the right time. I would say after the first kiss. That way they can get that romantic fantasy off their chest. Then you can shove a 50 page textbook into it and say “read this by Monday, then we’ll talk.”

The idea to send her partner away for the weekend so she has time for herself 😂😂 Being married to an introvert for me this is impossible to happen, my husband doesn't even have a group of friends to go on a trip with. I've been trying for 8 years now to convince him to visit his best friend for a few days who lives abroad. He always finds reasons why he can't leave. They only talk to each other on the phone when I call his friend from my phone and then give it to my husband. Then they can talk for hours and laugh a lot and really enjoy the chat. Both of them think last time they met in person was about 3 years ago (it was 10 years ago).
@@CrokusTheDerg one reason is that we have children and they are not in an age yet where I can just leave them on their own for several days. The other reason is that we can't afford it. I haven't visited my best friend for 8 years, because I can't afford it. We live in Greece, the financial crisis has left us with a much lower living standard.

I'm 5 feet tall, so I don't want the tall guys. My two longest relationships were with guys who were 5'7" and 5'3". The 5'3" guy was just right--I didn't have to stand on my tiptoes to kiss him.

As an Introvert I agree with some of these. Plan your night or have friends over and never don't come into my room until your hangout is over. My partner hinted for months about wanting to propose in public I told him I am going to just walk away and not say a word lol, just order pizza let's play video games and propose I'm cool. I love my sweatpants and hoodies, I hate wearing formal attire for work(which is required) cause I totally look good in a suit and that just makes people want to talk to me which i hate very much, which is why i was super relieved when I was asked to work from home permanently since the pandemic.
"If you ever propose to me in public or outside the living room, I will say no." Lmao! this had me laughing so hard! As an INTP, I was expecting my husband (ESTP) to propose in some flashy way but thankfully while the proposal was technically out on public (local park) we were walking on the bike trail in the woods at night under the guise of stargazing. So at least no one was around us at the time so I didn't feel the pressure of automatically saying yes. I still did automatically say yes, but that's just because I love him and his willingness to always compromise for me.
Perfect for me and my bf since we're both intro and can live togheter without being in each others face. (We usually sit beside each other but do our own thing, and then hold hands or say something cute intermittently), works like a charm.
As an introvert I can completely relate to this and public proposal is nightmare fuel. I also schedule time for myself seriously don't mind my bf making time for friends just like I need time for me, myself and I.
This is 95% accurate. The only part that is wrong in my situation is that I like spending time with my husband. Once introverts find “their people” they like spending time with them. There are times though that I do want to watch my rom-coms and true crime alone.

I don't know why people feel sorry for us, those who can find comfort and happiness in our rooms and in our small group of 2, maximum 3. I am glad that after all these years I can understand and accept that I am this way, an introvert.
Accurate! I've always felt like there was something wrong with me or I was doing relationships wrong so it's really encouraging to see someone be really confident about it and it not be seen as a bad thing, just different. Thank you!!
We are in the same boat. I get told by a lot of people that the way I think is wrong or that I'm childish. I get asked if I have trauma etc.. blah blah but I've come to accept and love myself no matter what people say. God loves me too, soo yeah I know I'm awesome.❤😋. Stay strong
I figured it out. I, an INFJ, married an INTJ. He's the only human that can sit with me for three hours in total silence without either of us asking if we're okay. It's glorious. Oh, and we carve out alone time separately every night.
I am so happy for you two!!! That honestly sounds like the perfect romantic relationship🥰
Sounds like heaven.
Bliss
this sounds like the only kind of relationship i would accept... so happy for you
You are truly blessed
47 year old INFP here. Single. And I have no desire to be in a relationship. My friends find this very odd. I don't understand why the world thinks everyone is meant to be part of a pair. I relate to this video!
I agree! I am happier now than I have been in any relationship. I have not been in a relationship for going on 12 years now and VERY happy. To me, being in a relationship has proven to be far lonelier than being "alone".
So true! I'm happiest hanging at home with the dog
@@nadineobrien2095 Me, too! Doggos for the win!
Broke up with a INFP girl recently, wasn’t the best experience
You go! The single life is very underrated.
🤣 "Maybe you should book a weekend getaway for you and the boys so I can have some time to myself" .
That´s literally me! I have said that to my husband so often (only difference with don´t have boys but two girls). My perfect vacation is staying home alone while my family is vacationing elsewhere 😃
People always ask if I miss them and if I don´t feel lonely. The answer is no and no. 😘
Teach me your ways, oh wise one! I was thinking of actually getting an Air BnB on my own, for a weekend of blissful solitude.
I was literally busting out laughing and agreeing at this statement Bahaha!
"Maybe you could book a weekend get away.. for you and the boys so I can have some time to myself," - that's exactly my thoughts every anniversary!🤣🤣🤣
It's a miracle she even got a boyfriend in the first place, I salute the relentless effort of the boyfriend lol
yeah! introverts have value too! who would've thunk!
Dude right! This video was me in a nutshell. I’m single because I just don’t put any effort into having relationships. All of the friends I have have been because they forced their way in😅. Like, you have to come to me, and even then I have to like you enough to spend time as opposed to just hanging out alone in my bed all day.
@@barabaramoo And actually, our value is so high that we are very, VERY selective about who gets to receive it
@@LaurenHayley16 wow you just summed up why I don’t have friends and I didn’t even know it
It's me!
wait-how does that work
This relationship sounds painful.
- A fellow INFP
How's that sound?" "Are you struggling doing that task? let's switch, imma do C and you can do my A task."
And i'm the one who calms the atmosphere down so we can have space to focus, "it's okay if you died, i can hold on for another 30 seconds (the respawn cooldown time)." "It's okay to fail this stage now, there's always the restart button."
Sarah! I’m an INFP married to an ESTJ (just passed our 4th anniversary), I need your wisdom! 27 years? How?!
STAY IN

That's awesome!
"And by short I mean like 5'11..." sent me 🤣
“By short I mean like 5’11” 😂 @all girls 💀 shots fired
Can confirm. My husband proposed to me alone in our living room. I wondered why he was being so formal about it. But at least we were completely alone. Any audience would have been mortifying.
it's a great thing he knows you well then.
I don't even know how to express how freaking AMAZING this female introvert character is and how well represented I feel ✨✨🌟🌟🙌🙌🙌🙌😂😂😂😂😂😂 Please make it a returning character. It's so unbelievably good. Great job FJ! Making introverts around the world feel less weird ✨✨✨🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌😂😂😂😂
Or discussed it at length and agreed to get married prior to the publicity. Although I HATE surprises with a passion.
FACTS
Frank is the only man who understands how to treat me.
I like how this sketch isn't mean about this girl's personality. It's funny without being offensive and I live for sketches like that.
LOL
😯 you talk on the phone? I have a deal with myself that we only talk on the phone with family members and real closies who are in another city. Everyone else can txt, email or make time to see me in person. You must have really felt at home.
As an INFJ, if I can confirm that is true. If you can make me have a call with you longer than 5 minutes (I'm being generous btw) then you're the one.
Wow that’s lovely. If I wanted to stay on the phone for longer than 30 seconds to anyone, they must be the one for me.
@@boruverse1774 im infj and hate talking on the phone 🤣 once i had to work in a call center. Hell totally. Only for 2 months it was so bad. I love how these are closer to the true meaning of introverts, and not just shy person
"because Im tired all the time, even when I get a full nights rest." FINALLY! Someone else confirmed this! 😍
After a rather awkward Sunday afternoon of an extrovert guy trying everything he can to get me to 'relax and open up'.... I wish I came with an Introvert Girlfriend Owner's Manual, so I can just hand it to guys and not have to try to 'explain' myself. 🤦♀️
---INFJ
Put him in a closet and tell him to tense up and shut down for a while. Then you'll negotiate.
Maybe get them to read up on INFJ’s. It’s not a manual, but at least they might get an idea what’s going on in your head.
Barring that, the closet idea sounds like a solid Plan B.
@@AK-jt7kh Nice! That should work. 😂
@@AK-jt7kh Give them a pop quiz afterward just to see if they did their homework!😂
1:20 😄 That's funny and true. I was actually proposed to (some years back) but before that happened, months before we were talking and I was saying how I didn't want to be proposed in front of anyone. It’s my moment and I want to feel free to be me in it. I dont want to be bothered with other people. The proposal went well.
As a very introverted girl this is completely correct😂
The one about proposing in public though, SO ACCURATE ! 🤣🤣🤣👏

The idea to send her partner away for the weekend so she has time for herself 😂😂
Being married to an introvert for me this is impossible to happen, my husband doesn't even have a group of friends to go on a trip with. Both of them think last time they met in person was about 3 years ago (it was 10 years ago).
well why dont you ask to go with and then your own thing when y'all get there
@@CrokusTheDerg one reason is that we have children and they are not in an age yet where I can just leave them on their own for several days. The other reason is that we can't afford it. I can somehow manage during the year to put aside the money for one ticket as a big, big gift for his birthday, but two tickets are out of my reach. I haven't visited my best friend for 8 years, because I can't afford it.
We live in Greece, the financial crisis has left us with a much lower living standard.
Re: height, I've realised the only reason I've ever thought about height is because people have commented "oh you'll need a tall guy" etc, so thinking about how we'll look together from the outside. Idgaf guys. I'm tall. I've liked shorter guys and taller guys. Who cares 🥰 I used to be ashamed of being tall because of this. Now I'm looking at those tall heels because why shouldn't I wear them with confidence?
It‘s a silly ‚tradition‘ that the woman HAS to be smaller than her man anyways. I mean what difference does it really make, aside from dancing?? And even there you could just switch parts and it‘s fine again.
My boyfriend is short, but I haven't told my family about him because they will judge him :(
I'm 5 feet tall, so I don't want the tall guys. My two longest relationships were with guys who were 5'7" and 5'3". The 5'3" guy was just right--I didn't have to stand on my tiptoes to kiss him.
I'm 6'3 and I wouldn't marry a tall guy. Just imagine the monstrosities we would produce! 😂😂

16 personalities interacting with their extroverted type, for example, INTJ interacting with ENTJ
16 personalities interacting with their ideal type, for example, ISTP interacting with ESTJ or ENTJ
16 personalities interacting as superheroes and super villains, like the hero is one type and the villain is its opposite type. for example ESTP is the villain so INFJ would be the hero
16 personalities watching anime
16 personalities playing minecraft
16 personalities interacting with each other on discord
16 personalities as spies
