So Hakos Baelz(Bae), Ceres Fauna, Ouro Kronii, Nanashi Mumei, and Tsukumo Sana are the second full English Hololive gen called Council (we had myth before them and Irys was a solo debut between myth and council)
Council (and Irys) are avatars of concepts
Bae: Chaos
Fauna: Nature
Kronii: Time
Mumei: Civilization
Sana: Space
Irys: Hope
Irys was with council often enough she was an honorary member of the group. Sana would eventually leave Hololive and then some time after that the remaining members of council + Irys would be reformed as the group Promise. Bae is group leader for both (yes chaos was the one keeping order in council)
it's also worth pointing out that irys debuted about 1 month before council, and irys/council debuted nearly 2 years after myth if i remember, so they were FAR closer to each other than they were to myth

The first time I listened to this song was shortly after losing a member of my family, I've never been good at processing grief and usually just bottle things up, this song broke me, I was able to just let my feelings out when I listened to it, even now, watching reactions to it, I can't hold back the tears
Damnit, I've listened to this song probably 100 times by now and it still makes me cry every time. This song is criminally underrated!
A little bit of lore, that music video was animated by Alice Magic, they are well known fan animator who likes to animate Kaijuu-sized VTubers.
No, they don't have a "regular staff" or anything like that, each member commissions whichever artists they want to work with for each individual project (often selected from among extremely talented fans, which is really cool).
Also, all those animals and objects at the end, you recognized Marine and the duck (Subaru), but the artist actually added a reference to EVERY SINGLE MEMBER of hololive past and present (at the time the MV came out, they have had new member debut since then of course).
Regarding animators, it's usually different from project to project, like this one (Alice Magic) doesn't seem to have done anything else official, but there are still some recurring names floating around that you can recognize.
Like, Yunarun was one of the first people to ever draw fanart of Kiara (way back before HoloEN became big), and then Kiara learned that Yuna was an aspiring animator, so Kiara hired Yuna to work on her "Goodbye Declaration" cover video, which turned a lot of heads (it's a peak-singing cover, and the animation went beyond what anyone expected from a cover), and now Yuna's worked with Calli and Gura and Bae and Kronii and Mumei and more. You recently saw her beautiful work in Nerissa's "Say My Name".
When HoloEN couldn't go to Japan to do 3D, Kanauru emerged as an amazing 3D animation producer. He did the "Myth or Treat" Halloween video you saw, as well as all of Kiara's music videos that you've seen so far. I would highly recommend that you check out the recent "Carbonated Love" and "TwiLight" from IRyS, since Kanauru worked on those, and because everything from IRyS sounds amazing.
And then there's Kay Yu. He's a professional animator who has worked on huge projects like One Piece, and as a side hobby he watches Vtubers and he decided to make the amazing free fan-game HoloCure. And he animated the "Q" music video with Calli and Gura.
Marine's music videos are on another level from everyone else. I've heard it said that the top animators in Japan are begging for the chance to work with her.
Calli's "Go Getters" music video was made by the team that worked on the Suicide Squad Anime, since Calli's song was the end credit song for the anime.
I've heard that Kiara and Marine have said that they lose money making these amazing music videos (especially Marine, she pays a lot for that kind of quality), but they do it for the love of the craft and because it works like an advertisement for their much more profitable day-to-day business as streamers.
I'm sure there's much more to be said about Hololive animation, this is just what I can think of off the top of my head, and I'm far from an expert.

A good reaction is Mindcraft cover that Bae organized for the whole EN branch with the yen she won from a company lotto. Between her work doing stuff like that, her singing, and being one of, if not the best dancer in all of Hololive, shes become a powerhouse on Mori's level. AND she just hit 1 million subs.

This song is from the movie "Bell" and omg you have to watch it during your own time! The songs are super beautiful and I cried listening to them.

I so love Bae's voice, especially, and her dancing. My recommendation for what music of hers to listen to would be "all of it." :)
The Dragon that was shown was Kiryu Coco from Hololive 4th Generation. Often called the Boss Dragon she actually helped Hololive establish a English branch. During one stream she casually mentioned that it would be great if there was an English group for Hololive, and the rest is history.
Until she sacrificed herself to save us from Hololive getting taken over by Chinese overlords.

Bae has an amazing range of music styles that you've definitely gotta listen to! i highly recommend her original "Play Dice", it's a good representation of Bae as a character, and also the vibe you get from a stream. if you're looking for a cover look no further than her cover of "Hontou no Oto" by Kokia, it will not disappoint!

The chorus makes me cry every time, even now through your reaction video. If you look at the credits the chorus is a huge amount of vtubers and then of course an even larger number featured in some way as you saw the duck is oozora Subaru by the way. I'm a sucker for sad songs.

All of which were narrated by IRyS of Project Hope, who would formally join them when Promise was formed.

While she does have a ton of great originals to check out, I want to recommend her group cover of K/DA's Pop/Stars on her channel and her opening performances at the Riot Games ONE tournaments on Hololive's official channel. Both have several Holomems singing with her, the latter also showcases some of her dance skills.
Subaru is the duck. I recommend her song Starlight, especially the live version.

You should listen to drown next, its totally unexpected how different it is from her other songs.
I think her best songs are songs that give her big emotionally charged lines.

you said you haven't heard the original of this song. The original is from a fairly recent anime movie called Belle, that is absolutely incredible. One of the major themes of the movie is singing, and it is filled with some of my all time favorite songs. it's the same singer in both the english and japanese versions, and i've seen both. I strongly recommend you watch Belle sometime, any sort of a reaction isn't necessary, it's just something that you should personally watch. There is definitely some lore to this song, but it's related to the movie, not Hakos Baelz the vtuber, they just basically created a good MV adapted to HoloEN but it's not really related to the original songs lore, it just follows the same theme of from-darkness-into-light
one of the best parts of the vtuber sphere (mostly pioneered/pushed by Hololive) is that the vtubers get to sing ANY kind of music they want, they aren't as typecast and locked in as most professional singers, who end up singing only like 1-3 related genre's unless they have a major career shift
about the ending section where the song turns to light, basically all of the other creatures you see are representatives of the other ladies in hololive.
and about the 'duck', representing Subaru, her being a duck is kind of yes kind of no. the lore is that several years ago she tried to do an ASMR stream but it ended up being pretty cursed and she sounded like donald duck, which started endless meme's of her being a duck. her original lore is that she's just a human sports manager. HOWEVER, since then, she has embraced the memes, has added a duck to her official name/banner that she uses from time to time, and has appeared in various duck forms in official hololive productions. so is she a duck? yesn't
