I can hear her straining towards the top there, if she hadn't practiced then that makes sense. She's definitely reaching to nail some ridiculous high notes that she evidently can't quite do comfortably without practice. Damn if her pitch control isn't perfect anyways, though.

There are some examples of metal singers voices deteorriating. Of course, these are professionals so obviously they've already gauged everything, but just hearing it just makes me go eeek (which plays into the appral; absolutely heavenly to hear when done right)
