    You really can't drift without an LSD. The open diff on my 335 really won't drift like the limited slip diff of my E46 M3. The rear won't react the way it needs to if both wheels where spinning together. The control with the LSD is beyond incredible.

    • @wtfronsson
      @wtfronsson Год назад +3

      Not proper drift consistently, but you can get a nice one in sometimes. If you just want to try the limits of your car and your driving, sure why not. That's an important learning experience. If you want to make it a hobby, then do something to the diff. And invest in tires.

    Does your trans downshifts back in unwanted way from M2 to M1 with xhp tune by itself while drifting or maintaing the slide with throttle balancing?

    • @Kamshaft
      @Kamshaft  2 года назад

      It does this sometimes but very rarely! I suspect this is due to the bridge seals or O-rings in the shift solenoids leaking or not holding large amounts of pressure. Might be worth servicing your transmission! I should do mine too.

      No..? Unless you’re needing to elongate a slide and you’re going fast enough, then it will work; or if you simply want to kick out the car without clutch kicking or shifting weight. Regardless, it’s all about modulating the throttle. Most people don’t even use the e-brake unless it’s for very peculiar sliding angles and such.
