My wife and I have this Stanley Two Pot Set, and we've used it a lot. It is really good kit. We typically take the big pot and spatula/ladel when the kids go out with us. We also have the Pathfinder Skillet and it's made in a very similar fashion. I would recommend the Stanley set and the Pathfinder Skillet, both are really nice. I will say that my wife and I recently got two MSR Alpine Stowaway Pots the 1.1 liter size, one for each of our bags as mess kits and i think they were $19 each. We got the kids the polymer UCO mess kits. With that set up, we can basically do whatever we want. We all have the UCO Knife, Fork, and Spoon combo that we store in our MSR pots/mess kits along with spices, drink mixes, coffee, creamer, and sugar. Sorry for the novel lol, just trying to give people ideas on cook sets. Good review Gabriel.
Do you prefer the Pathfinder over the Stanley? We've not pulled the trigger on the Pathfinder gear just yet because we like to try and see some of the gear we buy in person first to make sure we like it. Those MSR Alpine Stowaway pots are nice and they're on our to get list.
@@robertsbushcraft i know what you mean, i bought the Pathfinder Skillet at Smoky Mountain Knife Works, they sell alit of Dave's gear. Honestly their both about the same quality. The Pathfinder is a little thicker and polished, but again, they're both about the same. The MSR Stowaway Pots are as well. Maybe just slightly better. The fold out handle locks the lid down tight on those.
That's our only knock on this kit, not being made in the USA. Other than that, it's good to go! We even used it this past weekend on a kayak camping trip. Hey thanks for watching and leaving us a comment, allen!
Great review on a great cookset. I've had the smaller "Two Bowl Cookset" for a couple years now. Good stuff. Just picked up the larger "Two Pot Cookset" at Wal Mart on clearance for twenty five bucks! Score! Again, great job guys, and thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the sub, PA Reloader! These Stanley sets have been real gems for us over the years and we'll be using in the cabin as well. Check out latest in the cabin build: ruclips.net/video/4xSfak35yvk/видео.html
Nice video and review! I have the smaller pot set and I agree, it holds a lot. My homemade chili is often my go to dinner for the first night we make camp (truck camping anyway) and the smaller pot holds more than enough for my husband and I. And you sure can't beat stainless steel!
This set looks AWESOME. Thanks for the thorough review! I don't need any more pots, but man.... :-) I also like the "no foul language, alcohol or tobacco use on our channel". Subbed. All the best from north-ish GA.
Thank you for the encouragement, first last. That's who we are. We've just now implemented a filter on our channel that will not publish comments with certain words. We like to keep it clean. Thanks for watching, commenting, and subbing!
Hi Gabriel, thanks for the review. Nice cook set. I have the original 1 pot set and the frying pan set. Would like to get the new 2 pot set. Just seen it at a local Meijer store a couple weeks ago. Take care.👍
So they added a bigger pot with a cutting board, I have the small system and love it, did you cook some bannock bread to eat with that delicious deer stew?.man that made me hungry seeing it.
I used to place a small strip of aluminum foil over the strainer holes. Now? I leave them uncovered. The small amount of ash that gets in really doesn't affect the taste at all. What does get in can usually be blown away from the surface of whatever is being baked. Here's another example: ruclips.net/video/si37NGNWbR8/видео.html
Where can I get one I cannot find it anywhere in Stanley will not answer my question is where I can get one I want to get one where can I get it please help me figure it out I need help to find it
They may have discontinued this! The only one I can is at WalMart: goto.walmart.com/c/2313865/565706/9383?veh=aff&sourceid=imp_000011112222333344&u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.walmart.com%2Fip%2FStanley-Adventure-2-Pot-Prep-And-Cook-Set%2F40178844
I know...I figure that I have to have some sort of con to grain against all the pro's on this cook set and that's really the only one that I could come up with. Tons of goods are made there and are top notch, and this is one of them. This cook set is solid and it is a part of kit and will stay as long as it holds up.
@@robertsbushcraft as I see it, they stopped it to get people to buy the larger set. Less for us to pick from, the more money they can make. Lodge did the same thing. They stopped making there sportsman's grill to make a smaller grill called the kick off .. smaller hunk of crap... It all comes down to money....for them ....

VERY VERSATILE COOKSET GREAT DEMO AWESOME UPGRADE .HAVE A BLESSED DAY TO YOU ALL AND LOOK FORWARD TO MORE ADVENTURES IN THE FUTURE & GOD BLESS 👍👍
We love these cook pots, that's for sure, Dean!
Good review, wouldn’t be without my Stanley gear. Had not tried it as a Dutch oven so that was neat to see.
The French Press works great too: ruclips.net/video/TL6PQIJD1JM/видео.html
Great video. Fast but not to fast, full of info. Wish it was made in the U.S.A.

25 bucks is a steal for these! Right on!
@@robertsbushcraft Yeah, they had two sets in the clearance section a couple weeks ago... Should have bought 'em both!
Stanley's cook pots kick butt super solid great designs and VERY affordable awesome stuff even more AWESOME REVIEW GUYS!!🔥😁🤙
These pots, cups, and presses have been fantastic pieces of gear for us and we love 'em!
Just to let you know, your link to your website above is broken due to a misspelling on "bushc(R)aft"
Fixed! Thank you for pointing that out Mr. Lonnie!
i have the smaller kit, after seeing your review I may get one. THANKS
You're welcome! This is great kit and I'm thrilled with this one!
Thanks for the video I am going to get this system today at REI
This cook pot has a permanent place in our kit and hopefully you'll enjoy yours as much as we do ours.
Nice video brother! Just subbed. I love all my Stanley adventure cook sets. Next purchase will be the Stanley adventure cook set for four.

I personally think it is a worthwhile investment, Jeff!
The sliding tang locks the handle in place so it cannot accidently collapse in use.

We certainly did BUT did not have any usable video of it much to my chagrin. We'll be making more and hopefully with film with a bit better lighting.
Hi what's the h and d for d large pot and small pot?
For baking how do you keep ashes from falling through the holes in the lids?

Where did you get that baking Cup?
That came out of an old Walmart camp cook kit I believe.

should be made in Indiana !
We were thinking North Carolina!
This seems to be no longer available.
OH NO! I wonder what's up with that? Folks at Stanley furloughed, maybe?
I don't see the issue with it being made in China. Had it been made in the USA the prices would have been much higher. 😒

Totally agree. I have 5 of the Stanley adventure cook sets and they perform as advertised.
It is missing a bale.
We considered adding a bale but decided not to. It's still an idea we talk about every time we take these out.
I could pay 2x as much if it was made in the USA.
I had to find something wrong with the kit and that was about as close to it as I could get. It's a solid cook set!
Watched on 2x speed and it still dragged on.
We included a bunch of good b-roll :)
Sorry to say, I don't think you can get this set anymore...
Rats! I wonder why they stopped with this? Lack of production due to the pandemic? Here is the single pot: amzn.to/3tX53US
