    • @orangemoonglows2692
      @orangemoonglows2692 5 лет назад +2

      @@Laminte557 it actually isn't a valid point. how many restaurant videos do you see with prices? Zero. Why? Because it's sorta stupid to include prices when they can change at any time. A lot of restaurants don't even include prices on menus they list on their own websites. Why? Because prices are subject to change at any time. Go get the information yourself, you know like when you're searching for the phone# and address.

    • @Laminte557

      @@orangemoonglows2692 I don't know what your beef is. Off the top of my head, RUclips restaurant reviews with prices: BuzzFeed's Worth It, Mikey Chen's reviews, and even the Fung Bros restaurant reviews.
      To many people, price is a main factor besides food quality and customer service and it's a valid point to me (and the initial commenter) that a review would have it.

    To really know how well a dimsum restaurant serves its food u really need to order the deep fried dishes not the steamed one which is easy to master. The fried and and stir-fried dishes are really hard to make decent.

    Even though Chef Tony looks interesting, and it would taste good, it looks like a great way to charge A LOT more. I'd likely want to try it, but I'd go back to my 'regular' stuff. I dunno.. maybe I'm gettin' old.

    Great video, going to Vancouver next Month for my annual food trip. Next time try Sea Harbour Seafood which is across from the front entrance of the River Rock casino. I have been making a pilgrimage to Vancouver for many years trying out all kinds of restaurants and types of food. Sea Harbour is one of those places that I plan my return flight home around so that I can stop there on my way to the Airport. now for the interesting part... Seafood Harbour IS Chef Tony! It was his first Restaurant that he opened with his brother, still there, I believe?

    I went to Tim Ho Wan in Las Vegas couple months ago. While it was ok , they only have limited amount of dim sum to choose. Price is expensive compare to most dim sum place, 7 items came out to $72.

    Let me tell you how NOT to basic if you are new to Dim Sum. DO NOT under any circumstances, show up after 11 am if you do not want to wait forever for a table and never like after 2 (because they tend to close midday). People are waiting outside the door at 9: 30, and you will get the best top notch and quick service rolling in between 10am and 10:30am. After 11 the waiting area of most Dim Sum places on a weekend looks like an airport waiting area after a snow storm that's grounded an entire airport during Christmas week. Wake up, get there early, and you will not be sorry.
