I live sorta close to nyc. I just have to take a train there and boom. Unfortunately Covid cancelled my plans

I live in nyc and can go to these places anytime with my dad but you guessed I’m more broke than McDonald’s ice cream machine
She says that the chcolate sauce doesn't taste like nutella, rather it tastes like a saltier ferrero roche.
Problem is, ferrero roches are literally filled with nutella.
I think she means with the chunks big hazelnut and the taste from the shell. It may have nutella in it but it's not strictly nutella.
Modern day Nutella doesn't taste like Nutella. So they accidentally identified the correct flavor and then just applied the wrong label to it. Either way, their description of the taste is a compliment!

@@lucheng1945 The Nutella that was first invented had a much higher hazelnut amount. Something like 40% hazelnut. And they were premium hazelnuts too. Modern Nutella is only about 13% hazelnut. Modern Nutella is mostly sugar and palm oil.

brown butter is actually butter that is melted and then continued to be cooked until the milk solids become browned. it tastes so delicious and nutty and caramelized but no sugar is added
That's the real definition, not what the "brown butter" in Sunday in Brooklyn is.
In addition to what you point out, there are some slight variations where brown sugar is added to browned milk solids to intensify the taste. This is much like caramelized onions which may or may not have an additional dash of sugar or balsamic vinegar added.

You are a great Dad! 😸You can steal some tips from some of these places like adding a little malt flour to the batter to change things up. Even warming up pancake syrup in the microwave is a nice touch.

Sounds very NY. Probably has the most restaurants/food locations per square inch. Like how do you even decide where to go or what to try when there's like 5011 different spots that swerve the exact thing. And depending on where it's located in NY your statement makes perfect sense.
@L�a Cleyn-Rodrigue that NY is very Big and most dont branch out bey9nd their burroughs anyway. Not to mention most restaurants go out of business within a year or 2.

@@shorty1103 if you are a foodie you tend to try different restaurants and then you mark them down as go to locations. The only way you can find out what works for you is what cuisine works best for you and then go to restaurants accordingly. Some locations are hard to find because they may be inside or underground but a little bit of digging and exploring and you can find most locations. However, queens and the bronx got key locations that are way cheaper than Manhattan or Brooklyn.
went to clinton st baking company cause i lived in the area. damn these people aren't overreacting, these pancakes are legendary. not just the best pancakes I have ever tasted, it was the best food I've ever eaten in my life. It was literally emotional experience for me because It reminded me of how my mom used to always make pancakes before she died. Best pancakes ever, 11/10, please visit Clinton st baking company!
I think it's good since it's more original to the pancakes than the rest two. sometimes too many changes aren't good.

I love blueberries so I would favor the first pancake restaurant in this video. They looked absolutely mouth watering. Now I want to visit NYC again and go to that pabcake place. There's just something so beautiful about blueberries and I agree with the commentator that it just tastes of childhood nostalgia.
The other places looked good as well. Especially the fluffy Japanese pancakes place also looks to die for.
The Maine Blueberries are the best. They are available at Costco; frozen. Yes, there are many great pancake recipes. If you use whole milk buttermilk, butter in the batter instead of vegetable oil, and pure vanilla extract and lots of eggs, you recipe will be great. These frozen blueberries are better than any fresh ones from NJ.
I must try. Blueberry pancakes are my all time favorite breakfast food.
Those berries actually seem to be so called European blueberries or bilberries which are small, have a very rich flavor and a very strong color that will color your fingers and mouth. They grow in forests in Northern Europe - Latvia, Finland, etc. They are hard to cultivate and the best ones come directly from forests.
I had them today for the first time and I 100% agree. These pancakes are so amazing. Thanks for inspiring me to visit!

Pancakes are my favorite breakfast foods. Whenever I make breakfast, I always make chocolate chip pancakes. My older sister loves when I make pancakes since I make them really good. But i need to start making them the way they do in this video more often!

I didn’t know how famous Clinton street bakery was, me and my fiancé stubbled across it during a trip to New York and the line wasn’t that long so we went it. It was pretty good! The pancakes we super yummy. I also really like their chicken and waffles, they are pretty yummy!
I’ve only tried Clinton st. bakery, and I can def agree they have the best pancakes in NYC. I don’t even like blueberries, but somehow can’t get enough of their pancakes
