Thank you for the nice compilation and including the original audio. Though I have seen all these shots before, its always a treat to see the Rocket in action again. Never fails to entertain. :)
The fact he's so naturally gifted a lot of these shots are left handed and the commentary don't even mention it anymore if 99% of the world level players played wrong handed once or twice in a tournament they explain how naturally gifted you have to be but Ronnie does it 2 or times per frame he really is the undisputed greatest talent snooker has ever seen and probably ever will see
This is a brilliant video One of the best edits on the net. Each shot flows smoothly from the previous, the title stating when and where is just perfect. Thank you. Really enjoyed it :)
Although I watch more Billiards than Snooker I think that O' Sullivan is one of the greatest, if not, the Greatest of all time in Snooker winning 21 championships in total
Ronnie o'sullivan what an absolute snooker genius 👏 🙌 👌 A really phenomenal player 👏 The greatest person in the history of snooker The most gifted person to ever pick up a snooker cue ❤❤ True genius 👏 🙌 His fastest maximum break of 147 has never been beaten 5 minutes 20 seconds Completed in the 1997 world snooker championship against mick price 👍 😀
Insane to realize that most of the shots that he plays are perfect outcomes. If he misses, his opponent has a really hard time on their next shot. If he makes it, he's in perfect position for his next. It's unbelievable.
This comment is for all who don't know anything about Snooker- "if you have seen Sachin in cricket, Messi/Ronaldo in football, Jordan in basketball and Federrer in Tennis". The legend Ronnie O'Sullivan holds the same fame and class in Snooker.
Where's the left handed red played in baulk with screw to get on the black for a 147? And the famous stun off the cushion from black to separate pink and red tied together, for another 147 too I think?
I bet his opponents sit there and wonder what Ronnie has turned up, is it the can’t be arsed Ronnie, or is it the best player to ever pick up a cue Ronnie
7:36 on that yellow if you play that in slow motion see the chalk mark on the table on how perfect he struck that is absolutely amazing. Absolutely nobody does that better. Judd definitely gets more action because he can hit so much harder that Ronnie but damn Ronnie does it with no effort doesn’t he.
Sometimes there is no ball to be potted, and you want to leave the table in a way that the opponent can't score either. Or can't even see a red ball (being 'snookered'). A good tactical ('safety') shot or a good snooker, might be more creative or tougher to execute than potting a ball.
Like when that Football leaves the Boot a Goal is a 50/50 Shot with Keeper Saving it or Missing.... Snooker is down to Angles, Skill, Ability to Read Each Cushion on the Table, how fast the Table may Run and loads of other Mathematical Variables. Much, much more than a 50/50 Lucky Shot. Even 'if' a Lucky Shot they leave the Cue Ball anywhere. NOT inch Perfect for the Next Shot.
Small thing about snooker that has an edge on pool at least with watching it on tv or for these announcers that you can’t exactly tell what they are gonna shoot it’s exciting
American pool players have lost their personalities, the commentators are boring and the games have lost their pace. Ronnie looks like he owns the table, you can see it in his face, his walk and general demeanor. He is still fun to watch and friendly though.
Not sure what you're used to watching but this is obviously the first time you've watched snooker. These are finesse players, not the hacks you're used to watching, I guess.
"What is so special about this crap?" If you don't understand something, why judge it as crap? After having concluded something is crap, why would you want to know more about it?

Yes
I knew the man could sink any ball under the sun but this was the first time I've seen his absolutely incredible safeties showcased like this. Wow!
This could have been a 7 hour long video…that’s how good Ronnie is
That blue down the long cushion (near the end) is outrageous.
Incredibile. Supergenio 🏆
Thanks
And thats why Ronny is the greatest of all time in Snooker

Genius at work.
Ronnie is like Elvis on stage in Las Vegas! Totally Awesome!
Today I learned snooker is not just another word for pool
Snooker is different from pool

I mean, the clip is called Ronnies BEST shots. You're not gonna see any misses or flukes in a video like this.
Beautiful technique.
A God of snooker

Surely now the undisputed GOAT
Allthough I prefer the game with 3 balls and no holes in the table, this is fun to watch.

Wait man.. It's just part two... U can expect those shots in part 82 maybe..!!! 😃
They've missed loads better shots out.
That one is my mosy favourite shot played by Ronnie in pocket # 6
That’s in the first volume.
Exactly! 👍
Nghe phúc hát thấy ấm âp quá殺
The word genius is banded around too much, but in Ronnie's case it is the ONLY description possible. Never seen such natural talent in one person.
Yep. He could put the cue down for 12 months and still beat most of them!
I bet his opponents sit there and wonder what Ronnie has turned up, is it the can’t be arsed Ronnie, or is it the best player to ever pick up a cue Ronnie
3:20? what match is that? i want to see the whole thing now, and it's the only one with no year at the start of the clip
nvm, found it: 2015 World Grand Prix

Realmente, uma tacada que mostra o gigante que é o Ronnie. Também amei.
“surely he’s not going for the blue” 😂😂 Snooker announcers always act like they’ve never seen Ronnie make an unlikely pot

The one down the cushion, FFS!
I once had a chat with Ronnie at the winter gardens in Sheffield. He was tired and uninterested, but who the hell cares.

nobody saying anything about how he went southpaw at 3:55 ?
Am i the only one that gets confused when they say its a good shot but nothing goes in? ( I rarely watch snooker)
There is much to learn playing snooker.
Sometimes there is no ball to be potted, and you want to leave the table in a way that the opponent can't score either. Or can't even see a red ball (being 'snookered').
A good tactical ('safety') shot or a good snooker, might be more creative or tougher to execute than potting a ball.
@@DreamteamCarlo ahhh I see, thanks for the explanation.
Baianinho of Mauá is better
Or you could say they was 50 50 shots that worked. Unless he does them again who knows.
Like when that Football leaves the Boot a Goal is a 50/50 Shot with Keeper Saving it or Missing....
