    This is exactly what I need to understand what it is I'm actually doing. Although I don't have Reaper or Fabfilter Pro EQ 3. Subscribed.

      I have links to all free plugins in the description, and you should still be able to load the stems into your daw of choice. Working on the compression episode now and it will be released on Friday.

      @@ADistortedPerception Understood. I'm using cakewalk but looks like I could switching - I saw you were using fabfilter for the explanation/thought it was free for a moment.

      @Wal-DarkWater Easier to show some things with fabfilter but TDR Nova is a great free alternative. Reaper you can download and use for free. It asks you to pay if you want but you could bypass that forever. I eventually ponied up the 60 bucks but the free version has no limitations.

      When I add midi guitar I use the DI settings and process them like real guitar DIs
