It was only until she met her husband that she found the beauty in Islam. Now as a Chinese Muslim revert, this year will be her sixth year celebrating Ramadan.

Based on the Muslim belief that all people are born with a natural faith in God.
According to Islam, children are born with an innate sense of submission to God, which is called the fitrah. Their parents may then raise them in a particular faith community, and they grow up to be Christians.
Some people, then, see their embrace of Islam as a "return" back to this original, pure faith in our Creator. A common definition of the word "revert" is to "return to a former condition or belief."
A revert is returning back to that innate faith to which they were connected as young children

@@marimo66666 because I am a human with desire, opinion and not a strong enough faith in this corrupt world, I will decide yhe religion of my children. Just like how most Asian parents will decide if this child going to be a doctor engineer or lawyer and whatnot because they just want the best for their children. Its the same concept, might not necessarily be a good decision, but Its an effort.

Video done in bad taste. It seems like she's trying to discount and look down on other religions like Christianity, Buddhism, Taoism and even the lack of belief in spiritual beings. If editors wanna do a video in Islam or Ramadan, there's no need for her to discount other religious beliefs
This is one of those typical lame overused stories where after a person converts, this person claims to have been something else in the past to discredit the competition. But they were never a real and authentic practising member of whatever they claimed to have been in the past. I don't think any of her positions held in the past were firm, she probably just had an open and loose system of beliefs which simply changed according to circumstances and out of convenience. No authentic Buddhist would pray to the Buddha for money or grades. A person can't be an atheist by simply memorising Dawkins and Hitchens. It would be like someone who pretends to be a muslim by memorising 3 lines of the Qur'an, and subsequently claims to convert into something else, and use the conversion as a subtle way to bash Islam. I reiterate my respect for all religions.
As a muslim myself l agree with you we don't need to bash others l have seen a muslim aswell who said he converted and then when gained popularity he said he left Islam and was criticising Islam

There is no way to debate religions because each is a belief. Everyone has tge right to believe. What one believes in may be different from what others believe in because there are too many things to believe in. Religious debates have been going on since time immemorium. There is one consistent outcome : inconclusivity. Each religious follower of different religions can be good, compassionate, kind, righteous and have the same level of intense faith in their religion. This leads to a deadlock. Evil comes about only when followers cannot tolerate the right of others to believe in or practise other gods or beliefs.
