NOTE: Most of my signatures are about 4-5 papers per signature for this journal, which means 8-10 pages per signature, since the papers are folded in half. :)
How GORGEOUS 💕💕💕. Love the doilies, I have found that if you cover the cut-out edges with glue it stiffens them up enough to hold up to handling a little better. You always have amazing journal creations 🤩🤩🤩. Thx for sharing 😊😊😊
Hi! I'm new to your channel-and to junk journaling. I love the beautiful things you create! Thank you for the construction details! Very helpful, indeed! 🥰
Hello and welcome to our channel! We're so glad you're here! We hope you find lots of inspiration as you embark on your first adventures into the lovely world of Junk Journaling! 🤍
Absolutely gorgeous! I never made a cover using fabric. You made this look so easy and gave some great tips. I will be brave and try to make one. I already have the sepia kit and it’s beautiful. I love all your digitals and purchase from your store often. Thank you for the tutorials too! 💕
Aw, thanks so much for supporting our shop and channel! It means the world to us. 🤍 Also, way to be brave and try something new! I'm sure it will turn out lovely. Best of luck and happy crafting!
Kiera you have outdone yourself, WOW absolutely brilliant. The spine cover is just perfection and the embellishments on the cover are superb, my goodness your creativity knows no bounds. Absolutely love ❤️ your work. You are so talented and your imagination is just awesome. Thank you for sharing and can’t wait to see part 2. ❤❤🤗💐
Ah, gotcha! I have a bone folder already, but it looks slightly different and doesn't have the hole in one end, so I wasn't sure. Thanks for letting me know!
This is so very beautifully done, I have started printing the papers and fussy cutting ready to get started. I really like the hardware I think I might try it with this journal 🙂thank you for sharing!
Thank you! I am working on the decorating tutorial for this journal right now. There's a lot of footage, so it's taking a while to edit, but keep an eye out for it! 🤍
Oh thank you so very much! It’s is the prettiest journal I’ve seen in a long time. You all did an amazing job on the kits and the journal!!! It’s just exquisite! ❤️
Kyra ~ I couldn’t tell ~ did you glue the wry Center of the hidden spine with the signatures onto the book’s spine, or was that center of the hidden spine free and un-glued? I saw where the “wings” or flaps were glued down, but wondered about the very middle part. 🤔 Thanks ! Gorgeous journal ! 🤍
Hello! No, I don't glue the center panel of the hidden spine down, just the wings. You could if you wanted to, but it will take a little bit of effort to hold in place and let dry because it naturally wants to bend forward, and it's not necessary unless maybe your pages are extremely heavy and you want extra stability. Hope this helps! 🤍
Since the spine is curved, wouldn't the outside signatures peek out more? This would mean you would have to trim them. I am starting to make my first fabric-covered journal, so I am looking at all the steps and ways to do it. I love your work and have many of your digitals. Thank you for all the inspiration.
It probably depends on personal preference. If you want your covers and pages flush, then yes, you'll need to either trim the pages, or make the covers a little longer. I was purposefully going for a messy journal with lots of things sticking out of it, so I didn't worry about that step. :) Hope that answered your question! Best of luck on your journal!
Hello, this is not a no sew journal, but we have several no-sew junk journals including our recent Brad Binding junk journal tutorial. Check it out! ruclips.net/video/ESZxFBRzu24/видео.html
Hello! Yes, you are correct. I have a bone folder already, but it looks slightly different and doesn't have the hole in one end, so I wasn't sure. Now I know!

Beautiful ❤ Awesome job.

Thank you so much! That's so kind of you to say! 🤍😊
That tool is a bone folder. It’s used to create nice, sharp creases and/or to emboss a fold line. So you are using it correctly!
Ah, gotcha! I have a bone folder already, but it looks slightly different and doesn't have the hole in one end, so I wasn't sure. Thanks for letting me know!
I have one shaped like that that came with my scoreboard .
Wow what a lovely soft cover ❤❤❤
WOW!!! A beautiful cover, love the metal hardware, looks great against the cream laces. xx

@@MadCatLady9 Aw, thank you so much!
J'adore ❤! Dommage je ne comprends pas vos explications en anglais car je suis française 😏, mais c'est tout de même intéressant de voir 🌼
❤
Love this video. Thank you. Going to try it. Glue only on outside edges? No glue on face or back cover?

Is this a easy no sew junk journal? If not will you please do a tutorial on no sew junk journal please
Hello, this is not a no sew journal, but we have several no-sew junk journals including our recent Brad Binding junk journal tutorial. Check it out! ruclips.net/video/ESZxFBRzu24/видео.html
I don’t see the link to making the invisible signature
It’s a bone folder? I think that’s what u used on the cardboard right?
