    😃Here is a link to the playlist for this journal series. (Find links to the craft supplies & printable kits we use in the video description.)

    Also, someone pointed out to me that I completely forgot to curve the spine! If you still want to do that, you can see a quick tutorial for that here around the 4:00 minute mark: ruclips.net/video/ruUyHMpsT2Y/видео.htmlsi=xNkE2xEtG9pxv4v4
    You'll want to do so BEFORE gluing your papers on, or else they might wrinkle.

    Hello dear Kyra my favourite journal making artist😅I simply love your work and this tutorial was brilliant. Love it. The brad technique is awesome and since I don’t like chunky journals I think this method is perfect. Chunky to me is overwhelming but hey all of us have our preference and as you pointed out embrace your own style which I love about this craft. Nothing seems wrong. I love your sense of humour when you think you have made a mistake. You just change the name of the journal from classic to shabby. Love it. I’ll be watching you decorate this gem in the next instalment and I just love the variety of spines and book covers just brilliant and makes journaling fun 🤩 and thank you Kyra for all the wonderful effort you put in your work. I find that is important and I seem to always come back to you. ❤❤❤👍👏🏻👏🏻🇨🇦

    So beautiful! I just love this brad binding. I’ve decided that my next journal signatures will be bound with that method. I have to give it a try! Hugs 🤗❤️

      Please do! 🤍I honestly love it. Works really well for smaller signatures (too thick and you'll need longer brads) and they are super sturdy. I've never lost a page out of a brad bound journal!

    ♥ Excellent! That is a very pretty journal and the methods are very inspiring. I need to make a couple of journals that are Christmas themed so this is really helpful. I just need to find some brads near me. ♥

      Yes! Christmas is coming right up! We have a few Christmas themed tutorials coming out soon, so keep an eye out for that. As for brads, most hardware stores and craft stores carry them. :) Good luck with your project!

    I just found you recently and love all you do. I have a unique question: how to turn a halfway finished bound junk journal (standard traveller's notebook size) into a ring bound (A5). I REALIed too late that the TN is way to small for my needs. Now I have a bunch of beautiful pages that I have done but need to somehow convert into a bigger ring bound binder. Can you help me?

    So if you were wanting to use an altered book cover, would you just glue the papers down to that cover just like you're doing to the chipboard??

    • @myporchprints-junkjournalt5340
      @myporchprints-junkjournalt5340  21 день назад

      Theoretically, yes! The edges of the book cover would still show, so you might want to cover those as well if they are thick, or brightly colored or don't match your chosen spine/cover. Also don't forget to measure your book cover to make sure these will fit, or else you might have to print the image at a different size/trim it down depending on your needs. Hope this helps!

    Are the chip board edges exposed or covered with paper?
