I’m very new to JJ and Kyra, I have to say, I absolutely adore your videos. Your ideas are fabulous and you are so articulate and explain everything beautifully. You have the most lovely and soothing voice. It’s so relaxing. I could listen to you talk all day. Thank you so very much!
Oh my goodness, thank you so much! That is so nice to hear. 🥰 I'm really glad you find my videos helpful and relaxing, and I wish you the best of luck on all of your new Junk Journaling endeavors! 🤍
They are all so beautiful! I love that you have such a variety that we can look up. So helpful no matter where someone is with experience. Fabulous inspiration! Hugs ❤️🤗
Thanks for sharing all those journal covers. I kept thinking about how much work--and play--was involved in creating all those journals. I'm working on journal #3. I'll never get as many as you have. And that's okay. Love the stained glass. I've gotta try that some day. Now for my comment on the monthly freebie topic. I can imagine a theme called Childhood Games. There could actually be two parts, Outside Games and Rainy Day Games, but I'm just going to focus on Outside Childhood Games. I'd love a journal that focuses on games we all played in early to mid-childhood: hopscotch, jump rope, tug--of-war, Mother May I (or Simon Says), Red Light Green Light, dodge ball. There was one game we, children AND adults, all played once. I'll never forget it. It was called S.P.U.D. I think if you were "tagged" by the "it" person, you became "it" and got a letter. Once you got 4 letters, SPUD, you had to go through the spanking machine. It was hilarious. People lined up in two rows facing each other, and the spud person ran through the people. They got "spanked" when they ran, but of course it wasn't very hard because it was so fast, with the "it" person running. I remember there was something that the adults did with beer. Threw it at other adults ?It made me laugh so hard. There was a wonderful sense of community. As I've said, I've never forgotten it.
Is there a tutorial on how to make the cover on the journal with the butterflies on the spine and envelopes on the cover? This video is just what I needed. I wanted to make the covers and spines with more pizazz and you sure did show me that! Thank you!
Unfortunately that is one of the only journals that didn't have a tutorial for it, but I did link some tutorials associated with it. Go to the description box and look for: 🌹ROSES & BUTTERFLIES JOURNAL🌹 🦋DIMENSIONAL BUTTERFLY TUTORIAL🦋 ✨STACKED ENVELOPE TUTORIAL✨ Hope this helps a little!
Wow, this was so interesting to see all the different cover styles/options in one video. We forget the sales/options are beautiful and endless. Thanks for all the links too, will need to revisit many of them. Hugs and stay well.
