But the unexpected moment when Alex grabs the mic and stands up is one of the best moments in the whole show
I LOVE that moment. I'm glad he just stands and doesn't come around the drumset like they practiced here. It's just such a meaningful moment.

Props to whoever had the idea of Luke flickering before his part in the song starts. It really became one of the most powerful scenes in the show. It just goes to show how hard luke is trying to fight those jolts for julie and the band💗

stand tall was such a good song i was literally going to cry cause i thought they weren't going to make it and when luke was trying to be there and their faces when luke came i was literally yelling through the screen " COME ON COME ON LUKE PLS DONT TELL ME THATS THE LAST MEMORY JULIE WILL HAVE OF YOU" and then at the end where they were hugging was so cute

I love how Kenny listens to the cast, here I can hear Madison saying that the song is kinda anti-climactic and Kenny agrees and said that they're going to work on it together, the arrangement, the voices, etc. and seeing the result of that collaboration is just so amazing knowing how much hard work was put into it. Everyone of the casts and those behind the scenes of JATP just overflows with talent, creativity, and passion. No wonder this show is so soooo good!

she seemed so nervous
She was panicking because she originally had to do this song in a higher octave but I’m pretty sure it was too high for her vocal range so they were going to cut the song but they ended finding a key that Madison felt comfortable with.

Stand Tall is the song that always makes me smile and hypes me up 💜 I feel that the essence of Julie and the Phantoms (as a band) is truly transmitted through this song, its music, and lyrics.
I kind of already knew but seeing how many people are behind the screen and making sure that we got such an amazing end product like JATP, just wowed me so much. You can see how involved everyone is, where they in the crew or part cast it soo amazing and wonderful.
Agreed! It became one of my favorite songs by the end not only just b/c it's a Great song, but just because of what was happening in the last ep and the message and everything :))

I love the chemistry Madison and Jermey have. It’s like they are brother and sister. Also one of the best moments in the whole series is when alex stands up and grabs the mic and sings unexpectedly
The best thing about these videos is that you can see how they started out im rehearsals and then how much they worked on it, thought about it and tweaked it and what we finally got in the show. Seeing this process is beautiful ❤

I think I need a whole footage of making of JATP. Did I say whole? Yes, every single take, break, give me all you got. This is sooooo interesting to see how it was made, how the band made the song to what it is now, how amazing where the performances and how awkward it was at the beggining. Paul, you are making lots of people happy with these! Don't stop!

I love hearing/seeing the demo/first practices and then seeing the final product in the show. They always improve on it so much. This version of stand tall isn't bad, but the one in the show is so much better. and I absolutely love julie and the boys' reactions throughout the song. such a powerful scene

As you can see from this rehearsal, it’s kinda hard for Owen to get around the drums, run upstage and go back to the drums. It would look very awkward if they kept it. I’m happy with the final result
We need a second season. Season 1 was amazing with great music and a great storyline, and it really deserves a season 2. Netflix, please renew Julie and the Phantoms for a season 2. Netflix, please don’t pass up the opportunity. 🎤

I’m 22 years old & I am OBSESSED with this show, I’ve watched it like 3 times in the last like..2 days. The chemistry that they all have together is insane.! This song had me sobbing when Luke was Flickering in & out. You could tell Reggie & Alex were like freaking out & so was I. I honestly don’t think they could’ve picked a better cast for the band.🥺 I’m living for it.!

It’s amazing how it all came together in the end from working on the song arrangements, performances, to the final product. major props to everyone behind the scenes and the cast!
