HOW to make the BEST PANCAKES | Protein Whole Wheat Pancake Recipe

  • This pancake recipe makes the most DELICIOUS and FLUFFY whole wheat pancakes. Using simple ingredients that you most likely already have at home, and quick to make! This will be your family's favourite weekend breakfast.
    RECIPE:
    1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
    2 tbsp sugar
    1 tbsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp sea salt
    1 tsp ceylon cinnamon
    1 cup greek yogurt
    1/3 cup cream
    1 egg
    4 tbsp melted butter (plus more for frying)
    1 tbsp maple syrup OR 1 tsp vanilla extract
    INSTRUCTIONS:
    1. In a bowl, combine your flour, sugar, baking powder, sea salt, and Ceylon cinnamon. Combine.
    2. In a separate bowl, combine your greek yogurt, cream, egg, melted butter and maple syrup or vanilla extract. Combine.
    3. Pour your dry ingredients into your wet ingredients and whisk to combine. Do not over mix your batter.
    4. Pre-heat your pan over medium-heat.
    5. Add 1 tsp butter in your pan.
    6. Using a 1/3 cup measuring cup, scoop out your batter and fry about 2-3 minutes on each side. It is time to flip your pancake once you see bubbling forming on top.
