In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

Mel’s “running a camel through a Baby Gap” is one of the most iconic Taskmaster moments ever. Love her.

My favourite part is that the timer says 7:50 when they get in the car. Meaning it took her only two minutes to come up with this plan. Possibly even less since the car is not typically in the driveway meaning someone had to go and get it

Taking the camel through a Gap store was my first instinct when I heard the task, but I couldn’t think of a way that a gap store could be small.
I related so much to Victoria's enthusiasm for the dog and her disappointment in not meeting it.

I love how Alex has totally given up trying to let Katherine understand by the chicken task and just tells her what to do instead of telling her to read the card like other contestants.

You can tell how far they were into filming by how helpful Alex is to Katherine.
Joe taking off his coat and going, "Look, I'm just a man." is weirdly endearing.
Marco was definitely one of my favourite bits of the series. Such an adorable fella.
They should have he and Nell in a challenge together.
Hugh and Noel’s absolute evisceration of the toy camel is legendary
especially when compared with Mel putting a seatbelt around it for safety
At exactly 7:29 when the dog jumps, she completed the task, since one of the dogs was off the mat.

@@4SlowFashion Hard to say. If you set the playback to .25, at 7:29 while the dog is in the air, for a few frames the black one is still on there. Can't tell from that angle if all of his feet are on there.

I would've made a snuffle mat for Marco. Dogs are attracted to smell. A snuffle mat allows you to hide treats/food in it and they have to search for it. It's a great game for them

The first task doesn't specify that they have to complete the course right? Could they have just approached the finishing line from behind and got the remote controlled car to do the same, thereby avoiding the mini robots?

NOT saying would have thought of this if I was in the show, but, sitting here it surprises me that none of the contestants thought of bending the rules even further; Cutting out the word "camel" from the paper and slipping it through the narrowest crack they could find
My main issue is that those chickens in the first challenge weren't furry OR alive. At least the other fake animals were furry and the other chickens were real.
And chickens aren't furry as they don't have fur

I love how Victoria realises that she won't meet the real dog.
Followed by her wanting to rub a ball on a cat, or pee on the ball. Her misuse of logic throughout the series was hilarious. One of the most endearing contestants ever!

What's worrying about Joe's refusal to consider his methods in the cat task is that you know he'd save a cat like that in real life... or probably already has xD
they should have a season of only elderly people and see how they handle tasks unsuited for age, let wisdom conquer the day.
Taskmaster with children could also have potential. Kids are surprisingly resourceful, so it would be cool to see how kids go about a task vs the elderly.

I know what was wrong with the other toys: They were too big. Marco doesn't think of them as playable.
Big enough to look like furniture, and Marco's a good dog who'd never chew on furniture. But a pile of random things on the ground is fair game for a dog

My toxic trait is thinking I would be really good at Taskmaster.
Examples:
I would've climbed the tree to get the cat rather than trying to knock it down as quickly as possible, since the winner was selected by best rescue as opposed to fastest time
I would've squeezed the camel between the bars of that birdcage-looking thing on the right side of that room
I watched an episode of some show once about how they do animal enrichment in zoos, I would've used that as inspiration to make a dog toy
Yeah it's kind of a shame that Joe didn't win the tree task given it was best rescue, not fastest time
In the first chicken task with the robots, it doesn't say you or the chicken on the remote controlled car have to go through the part of the course where the little robots are. And the start and finish line are right next to each other.
but you've also got to be entertaining, or nobody watches
the best result is unexpected, born out of startled logic from someone unsuited to the task.

That's not a toxic trait, that's thinking outside the box, and we've seen many times how thinking outside the box wins tasks. In fact many tasks have hidden Easter eggs that make their completion so much easier for anyone who thinks outside the box and looks for them. Alex is a sneaky rascal with his tasks.

For the remote control chicken task, I would have avoided the course entirely and wheeled over to the finish line and crossed it with chicken 2 then picked up the remote controlled car and chicken 1 and wheeled back to the start line and crossed it. The task didn't say you had to run the course only cross the lines.

Here's living proof that what YOU find appealing whilst choosing toys at the pet store, isnt what your dog finds appealing.
The simpler the better! Scrunched up bits of foil, wine corks, balls. You needen spend a fortune on toys.
Those I remember, after waiting 5 minutes for my phone's buffering to stop, to reply, are choke hazards.
Corks , scrunched up foil, can block breathing and/or bowels.
Sticks, too, can cause awful injuries. The can swallow bits of stick which can lodge or pierce a bowel and sadly, it isn't THAT rare to have a dog come into vets that has run full tilt into a stick that has landed on an angle because of rocks projecting, and dog has come in, joyfully out of control, and literally speared it's throat with the jutting stick.
Small balls are a hazard, as they can be swallowed and lodge in the bowels, causing huge suffering and death.
Safest, are balls too big to be held within the back of the mouth, which depends on size of dog. Kongs are pretty well indestructible and the correct size for dog are safe. A scrunched up paper ball should be safe, as long as any ink is safe and there is no toxic glue or paint on it.
And if they tear up a bit of paper and swallow it, it will go soggy and collapse into sludge. But, it doesn't last long.

You’ve got what look like real stuffed chickens attached to robots. Joking about throwing things @ cats in trees. Sorry, not good one for me
