In this video, Koifish will for the first time ever play as a woman ruler, and using tactics, strategy and the lifestyle focuses, take over and steal the Holy Roman Empire! All without winning a single war! Because today, we are playing with the Crusader Kings 3!
I will be using all the tips and tricks and strategies that I went over in my Lifestyle guide series, mainly focusing on Martial and Learning! I'm also playing with all the current DLC, Including Northern Lords, Royal Court and Fate of Iberia!

love that first emperor who's just like "oh you want the job, lol, sure have it. peace" and then immediately theres back to back rebellions. In my experience playing as a vassal in the hre is fun, but as soon as you put together a halfway decent character you'll be elected emperor which is a just terrible job to have.
Yeah, it's basically just a "You want to take care of *this* shithole? Sure dude, take the crown."
My most critical mod is the Decline Elections mod just for this reason haha

I can't believe Steven Paradox refused your request to add a female Haesteinn called Haesteinna to the game so you had to play Matilda instead, how can they ignore their community like this?

I wonder if Koifish knows when you imprison a bunch of vassals after winning a war you can revoke their titles and replace them with people that like you, your own religion etc. It might not make as fun content but it would have made the empire a lot more stable
tons of tyranny tho if you do that, not good if you have an empire with loads of vassals like the HRE. Unless you're revoking kingdoms, then it's worth it.
@@Ailuk You only get Tyranny if you go past the first. and given that taking their top title also takes all the De jure under it, it can do wonders.
@@Ailuk I'm not sure it gets you tyranny if they rebelled against you 1st. Even if that is the case, vassals like you more if you've just given them land which will offset it, plus high dread has its own advantages, especially when it comes to preventing uprisings and schemes. I always play that way and it feels like easy mode
@@CarelessForce There's no tyranny penalty for revoking titles if they rebelled first. It gives them a treasonous criminal status.
Revoking titles from vassals who rebelled against you can be done without incurring tyranny if they are known criminals. However, revoking titles can only be done as a feudal government, with a crown authority above 1. As for Tribal and Clan governments, I have not played them enough to comment on.

I find playing in a faith/culture that has equal inheritance to be a really fun challenge, if you want more opportunities to play as a woman. It means you really have to manage your kids to avoid your realm splitting up, but it's also fun to be able to play as your eldest kid rather than always the eldest son.

@@Entropy__I’m not sure if you already know by now but to give a quick history lesson pope wasn’t happy about a woman being in charge of the Byzantine Empire and made Charlemagne who was Roman Empire weebo emperor of the HRE and Charlemagne being the Roman weeb he was tried to marry Irene(empress of the Byzantines) which would effectively make him the emperor of the west and east but that marriage proposal didn’t work out

The benefit of playing as females is that you can be sure that all your kids are of your own dynasty.
The bad news is that you can not have kids over 40 which could mess up your inheritance when you become way older because you can oly control your direct family.

As Duchess Matilda and her family I formed the empire of Italia took all of Italy took France and gave it to somebody and took a big chunk of the HRE also I made the king of England Serbian because I spread my dynasty so much that the king of England accepted a matrilineal marriage with my character's relative who is Serbian
