Paradox Games: "How about no?"
Right? Not complaining though...
"No." ~ Rogal Dorn
I love dnd but I love door monster for the sketches
thanks paradox
I love the sketches
“Conspiracy to acquire milk” did we get a name drop on the hobo.
...hmmm...
@@Narinjas So the plot thickens...
Don't indulge the fandom!
Woah
does this mean the hobo is in prison?
edit: well, that'll teach me to comment before the video ends.
'Conspiracy to acquire milk'
... did he also try to sell and then threaten someone with a knife? Multiple times?
Ha! I missed that!
Seems unlikely.
Florida man stabbed by toaster from his ex girlfriend.
Just a little extortion
I was thinking Psychonauts myself.
"I am the milkman. My milk is delicious."
when kyle said "they're hit by 15 sniper rifles" i immediately imagined guards throwing there weapons at the prisoners and this will probably happen because they cannot afford actual bullets with there budget.
c'mon this is a videogame they have infinite bullets until something requires a limit
I immediately pictured a dark night, a prisoner running for freedom and then suddenly, a barrett m48a1 rifle flies out of nowhere and hits him in the back of the head, knocking him out and it looks both stupid and funny
that is almost as stupid as aperture turrets shooting the bullet including the shell using a spring mechanism.
@@Yorie1234 That's 65% more bullet per bullet.
@@n1thecaptain965 Or, he is hit with one, catches it, the rest missing. Guards now realize they were probably meant to fire at him not throw the guns.
Famous last words "Great, now we armed him..."
Still absolutely surreal to hear myself in a Door Monster video. Love your content, always have, now I just love it a little more because I'm in it and I'm vain like that. 👍
Congrats, dude!
So cool to find the crossover in communitys
We're so glad you were able to be in this one!
My first reaction to this video was just pure shock when I heard you I even went back to listen to it again 2 times
I love that two of my favourite youtubers did a collaboration
I was no expecting rimmy.... He should have been a prisoner with a complaint
he's australian after all
Says the Brit
I knew I recognized that voice, I swear it feels like door monster has had more youtube guest star than even the big channels.
For sure, the aussie crazr
Yeah I wasn’t expecting
my favourite character in all of fiction: Ms Accountant
6:26 Oh my god, LOOK at that expression, it's unbelievable
I mean shes what makes the Prison move to an Off-Shore Tax heaven after all
And dont forget garry/luke from shelds
Mine is Tom Timms
Lol yup
"They're hit by 15 sniper rifles out of nowhere like they wouldn't see it coming"
Me: That's overkill, but that could actually work.
I mean, if my buddy tries to escape and literally explodes from the number of large-caliber bullets hitting him at once, I'd be pretty motivated not to escape. Fuuuuuuuck that.
magmat0585 no it's getting hit by high caliber rifles
If we hire builders for the sniper tower we can just make the prisoners build the rest and keep a huge portion of our funding so we can build more sniper towers. What are they gunna do purposely build faulty equipment secret storage spaces and easily escapable holding cells. Not likely when we’ve got 4 snipers per convict.
@@magmat0585 now imagine that they had enough money for towers, rifles and snipers, but not for the ammo, so instead of getting quickly shot to death, most of your body turning into a blood mist, 15 snipers slowly beat you to death with their rifles.
Why are they getting hit with rifles?
Allison and Kyle are just rocking those suits. 10/10, would watch again.
Allison looks so good that Kyle lost his words when she first entered the scene.
10/10 will watch again
suit.. suit.. hev suit
Seriously - these two button up REAL good.
Is that saying you've finished watching it 10 times out of the 10 times you originally planned to rewatch it and you'd still watch it again?

"This IS the foreman. I was trying to buy a few acres of trees for your forced labor camp, but the card was declined, so..."
My favorite line of dialogue in this entire video.
'that seems illegal' epitomises this whole concept
"Well that seems illegal" describes most of the prison system actually
Oh, but it's perfectly legal.
@@TheBard1999 Explicitly legal, in fact. It's not even a loophole, the 13th amendment just... says that.
@@roxasdog2016 but, let's say, *IF* the prison is rehabilitating the prisoners using, uh, "Recreatiinal Activities" and, someone or some People are happy about the prison's good work and gives them Donations and a friend of those people just so happens to profit from their work *Incidentally*, then it's all OK right?
@@geradosolusyon511 Oh you don't even need to be that covert you can just use prisoners for below minimum wage labour and have the Government pay you for it
"All right, I'm going to let you off the hook, Mr. Warden."
"Wait, what? Why?"
"I have... bigger concerns..."
*flips to the Spiffing Brit profile*
So are there any prisoners in this "prison"
"You want snipers in the shower?" Who builds a shower?
The ones who have a side business selling amateur gay porn videos.
yeah in game its actually better to just give them showers in their cells or in the yard. because a shower room always turns into a deathpit
When i get small cells research i like to go put a toilet under the shower head.
Pfft, you guys build cells? Huge dorms, filled to the brim with bunk beds and criminals is the way to go, at least for my -slave- involuntary logging camp
When I build a shower, I always put patrolling armed guards there. Or yeah, overly expensive luxury cells for max security and legendary prisoners (otherwise I couldn’t afford it) with their own showers, but those guys attack each other for no reason anyway so...🤷♀️
how to win at prison archticect:
step 1: ban planning montages
step 2: ban escape montages
step 3: put the prisoner that the narrator keeps focusing on in permanent solitary con.
step 4: profit
but be careful around laundry
Watch out for his Lawyer who's office isn't covered by the wall though.
Kilian experience?
OH he also forgot about banning rebels.
Don't forget to always lose money so that the taxpeople won't come.
After reviewing these plans, I have come to the conclusion: We need more snipers.
Won't help. The prisoners'll just class change to spy.
Darn. Then we'll need more pyros.
You need the snipers guarding your prisoners to have their own set of snipers to guard them from scouts that the prisoners have sent to counter the pyros that are guarding second set of snipers from the spies that the prisoners have sent to take out the first snipers.
@@eight8092 They'll counter the pyros with scouts and Soldiers
Gotta be honest, who hasn't heard of this game? It' a pretty good forestry sim.
Who needs prisoners in a game about making a prison when you can chop trees and drink tea?
Ah yes put hatchets and axes and saws in a prison it will be fine
@@infernox1099 ah, a fellow of cuture. You watch the great spiff as well i see.
I was expecting someone to be whoooshed
@@infernox1099 Spiff did not discover forestry, stop giving him credit for shit people already knew.

I know. They are MASTERS at quick throwaway jokes.
"Let's fill the lot with trees."
"Why, would we do that?"
"forestry is very profitable."
Ah I see you too have seen Spiffing Brit's video.
Though he mentioned prison labor. You can use prisoners to cut the wood into lumber and then maybe assemble that into beds, but Spiffing Brit skipped that step and just sold the logs/tea. This is done entirely by the workers and doesn't involve any prison labor.
he also dropped the stock share exploit Spiff did a video on.
It still equals M O N I
That's a common known way to get a lot of money..
I don't think spiffing brit was the only person to come up with that idea
Voice of Rimmy plays and I am like... I know that voice.
That ironically sounds very Rimmy
@@AstralqueEpoch
That unironically really was Rimmy
"That seems illegal" Rimmy clearly isn't American
Yeah its how the entire prison industrial system works.
He’s Australian, the greatest prisoner island!

Seems kind of pointless since the guy they made it for escaped before even *getting* to the prison.
@@Br3ttM And the impenetrable dungeon remains at perfect efficiency. Your point?
The tomb. The vault. The boiling rock. Wait…
So this is how Alcatraz was designed.
"I tried to buy your trees to your labor camp ,but your card was refused ..." that made me laugh so hard
I appreciate paradox supporting creators like this, even when some of them already just do paradox games.
I guess they're desperately trying to make up for all the customers they drove off with their abominable 'launcher's...
Kyle in that suit is something else though
Honestly just all of them in fancy clothes and make-up look good
Allison is even worse in that make-up lol

So there's Rimmy and Spif.
Nice.
Wait, is that Rimmy!
Oh shit it is!
exactly what i thought, super cool
"That seem illegal" yeah but American prison system, so it's probably not.
13th amendment still allows for forced labor as punishment for a crime.
"With the prisoners doing most of the labor-"
"That seems illegal..."
It's funny because it's VERY legal.
@@weezact7 Just not in America, cause slavery isnt slavery if you can call them prisoners
@@CrazyNerdMonkey I think that has to be a specific punishment, like community service or some such.
Prisons, to my knowledge, instead use a voluntary prison work system. Inmates do jobs the prison can get them access to, sometimes outside of the prison. Most of the payment for said work is recouped by the prison to help pay for their incarceration. (prisons are insanely expensive to run, there's no way to make them profitable through labor, they rely on government payment for incarceration, the labor just cuts into the margins.)
As a practice it was originally developed as a way to help deal with prisoners by giving them something productive to do instead of just stewing in misery. Ideally it'd also give them access to useful job training but that's rather difficult. So most prison work programs give very, very poor pay for menial labor. Though if I remember the stats it's still shown better results than no work programs at all.
@@12brunni pretty sure a lot of places have them working as support staff for firefighters. I remember hearing about that at some point because my grandad volunteers in a fire department
Looks like Kyle is playing sniper elite 4
Pretty that he's playing X-Com Snipers only
Ah... the almost automated forestry program, the best way to maintain a prison.. don't even need prisoners.
Indentured Loggers, they prefer to be known as.

"So, we are moving toward D&D type of content and will stop doing sketches about other things"

*Prison Architect*
Here I was sad we wouldn't see all sorts of zanny content, just D&D sort of stuff.
Like so many others this sketch was great. Hopefull to see more.
I feel like they watched the spiffing Brit and tried to replace what he did.
But they fuck it up completely and now are trying to escape to an island.
let's game it out
"I am asking about planting a very large forest on most of the land." . . . What a Spiffing idea!
I missed the video game sketches so much. Thank you Paradox. And thank you Door Monster.
Same here. it's like finding out your favroite show has episodes you haven't seen.
"Is this a gulag?"
i often leave the outer section open so that the prisoners come up from their tunnel right at the outer wall of the prison and still have a long distance to run through a maze of fences full of armed guards, dogs and snipers until they reach the edge of the map
Conspiracy to acquire milk. Hahahahahah this is fantastic!
Haven't seen it, but there is RImmmy so therefore it is great already. His voice is soooo good.
d'aww thanks mate
@@RimmyDownunder Oh my god, you noticed my comment.

You are one of the best youtubers, btw please keep doing what you are doing.
1:44 This moment, the clap and the following motions and the rest of the line are just a blast. I can't explain it, but it looks so natural.
I love Ms. Accountant. Her shocked and horrified reaction shots are absolutely golden.
I want to see a regular sitcom starring the warden and the accountant trying to run the train wreck my prisons usually turn into, with Rimmy reprising his role as the foreman trying to build this quite possibly illegal gulag/madhouse
I had NO idea that there was an island now. thats great!
its new
Like, released hours before you posted your comment
I love the spiffco tea plantaion
I loved the Spiff reference at the beginning.
Idk why, but Allison's "we could.." after the CEO talking about the vault has me dying everytime

"That sounds illegal"
The sad thing is that prison labour _isn't_

the best joke in this video is the idea that american prisons would blink an eye at prison labor forestry
You mean very legal prison forestry
Paradox bankrolling door monster is like seeing two of my best friends becoming friends...
Always excited for a new door monster skit. Keep up the good work
"Paradox has just released a new expansion for", I think I've heard that somewhere before.
Either way, great skit, glad to see you guys still creating content.
I've returned to this sketch multiple times since it came out, and it really is just pitch-perfect. The acting, the timing, the tiny nuances in the facial expressions - all brilliant. I also love 'Just Business', but it's really an internet-specific style. _This_ sketch feels to me like a pilot for a Door Monster prison-office comedy, which I would watch all of without hesitation.
her face when she says "... we could."
i'm absolutely dead
Guys, they should have a series where the hobos go to this prison and try to escape.
I can imagine a bit of time travel thrown in for good measure.
The Escapists!
Omg, yes the escapist
Conspiracy to acquire milk would've made more sense if his name was Tim Tamms.
"There's gonna be 15 sniper towers"
"We haven't even unlocked the warden yet."
Rimmy is a God. Also a bro. That's all
i was honestly expecting the punchline to be revealing that they're just creating australia
"Hey guys so we wont be doing any more sketches I feel like I've achieved everything I set out to do so from now on our channel will be focused around D&D and Pathfinder. I know a lot of you who subscribed for the sketches might be dissapointed but this channel for me was just about making what I wanted to make."

...Makes more sketches
Turned out it was the weekly repetition that was the problem. Spending longer on each video and using them to learn new things again has made a big difference.
@@DoorMonster that makes a lot of sense considering constant repetition is what makes series like Call of Duty stale.

"That seems illegal-"
This represents prison architect so well
Allison did amazing in this video! Did she have some vocal coaching? Her voice acting seems to have come a long way since earlier videos. Excellent work!
Kyle as well, did you see his face during the last phone call?
The Foreman is my favorite character in this. He just barely cares about the forced labor camp that he’s building.
I RECOGNISE THAT BEAUTIFUL AUSTRALIAN ACCENT ANYWHERE! RIMMY YOU SLY DOG! How did YOU get here!
That "conspiracy to acquire milk" is a deep cut reference! XD
Prison architect....WOOOOOO!
Ah, so this is a prequel to the Dungeon sketch, detailing how poor Kyle fell into the whole business?
Allison’s acting is so good in this
i love u
The concept of a private prison is enough of a joke already, lol
America would like a word with you
Yeah about that...
so... America has some words
America would ask you to go to McJail which is guarded by the Pepsi military (the fourth largest on earth)
I see you're not a citizen of the United States of Mc Kentucky Fried Freedom
SOMEONE watched Spiffings video
Well now I gotta find that
I too made a large “prison” tea tree farm, very profitable
Joseph Douek Idk if he did the beds, but according to his Prison Architect video titles and thumbnails, i think he did the tree one
He did both of them
I’m still on the forced labor-
Nice that rimmy was the builder manager
She was so hopeful talking to the boss and then he mentioned the vault and the light in her eyes died.
Actually, you don't look that bad in a suit. Even works really nice in this great video!
And Rimmy's in here, which is also nice! (Though I wonder, an Australian featured in this sketch on Prison Architect: Island Bound, was that made on purpose?)
Judging from the RUclips Creator Award in his office, it looks like the snipers' salaries are being paid for through online revenue.
I love that he liked the idea of prison island more then moon prison
I desperately need a soundbite of "that seems illegal"
The Hobo has a name now! It's canon! And fitting that you would name him so closely after Mr. Timn
Rimmy?!?
Ur first
That CEO is the game dev
I love the Dwight bobble head
I hear Straya man speaking, instant click.
Also, how did you guys hired *Sarah Palin?*
well she was on 'the masked singer' - so maybe she's looking for a career change? Arnold and Reagan went from acting to politics, maybe she wants to uno-reverse card that narrative?
She really does look like a young Sarah Palin like 2000's young.
15 snipers is nowhere near enough. Add an extra zero or two and then we're talking
the look when she says "... we could..." XD
2:59 that makes so much more sense to me now
Does the Extortionist Hobo now have a canon name!?!?
My thoughts exactly!
0:20 this is America! If it’s profitable, it’s legal, especially if it’s a prison.
The warden is right, he does need all these things to run a good prison.
"The Tomb". I love how everyone plans some supercell for one guy
A room full of bunks to raise stocks then sell them. Sounds like a spiffing exploit
don't you mean stonks
Bruh just turn on unlimited funding
pleb
Nah just build a giant lot with nothing but forestry and the bare minimum infrastructure, then sell that use the few million dollars you'll make on a new prison.
Can never have too many sniper towers!
I’m so glad your doing skits again I really missed them honestly there’s been a hole left yall do some of the best skits there’s no replacement for them
After reading a few books on prison conditions and abolition, i can't help but *feel* this is exactly how prison designs are made
Now I want to see them do a let's play like this.
Also there's an island mode now?
kairon156 yep it’s a new dlc called island bound.
I litterally just watched Rimmy's video before seing this get posted, I was not expecting to hear his voice again so soon XD
