I don't think we ever saw the best of Tyson. I believe he hadn't peeked yet when he got rid of Rooney. If he would have kept Rooney and stayed away from drugs and alcohol I believe he would have retired undefeated and been the heavyweight goat. Just my opinion

Is hard to believe someone being at their peak in the ring by 21, 22 years old. Guys like Joe Louis, Billy Conn,Patterson, Ali, Tyson. These people really are prodigies. If you look at any other blue collar profession, most men are at the peak of the skills in their 30s.

One thing I've notice about Mike at this time he dont train like he boxes n the ring see how he uses head movement while training but doesn't use it while hes fighting

Ali peaked in his 20s though. He peaked in early to mod 20s and Tyson peaked when he was 19/20/21.
