      He was a true beast in his prime! To the point where Mike says he doesn’t like seeing videos of his fighting or seeing how rage fueled he was like this you know you were a legit killin fighter when you don’t even like talking about your old self as globally loved as Mike was and still is and how well known he is for his rage fueled fighting dominance from the 80s

      Can you imagine that Mike was 14 years old in this picture....it's absolutely fantastic this boy had the art of fighting in his blood, of course they worked a lot but to always be strong they never stopped training it's the rule....at 14 they were stronger than 27 year olds it's incredible. The youngest world heavyweight champion of all time with mohamad Ali 🎉....

      @ianwoods1384 Год назад +4

      @Tavara Yes, I absolutely agree with you. To me, Mike was the whole picture of what an exciting, dynamic fighter should be, and with respect, that's absolutely what he set his sights and goals in what he wanted and intended to achieve.
      There was no just turning up, going the distance and winning on points with Mike. In his earlier years, he did it all in style. Obviously, after that, that's when the rot set in. He didn't have Cus, Kevin Rooney, and Teddy Atlas, who were crucial to his mindset and focus and success. There was the rape trial and marriage to the wrong people. Mike also struggled with how he thought people saw him and how he thought their opinion was of him. That showed he cared very much.
      Of course, now, we see the true Mike. He's a great, generous, caring guy, and it's great to see him happy now, content, and enjoying life with his family, with no demons.
      His early life, constantly training, reading, watching about past champions which moulded him into the person he was, the person he had to be, to be so successful and dynamic.
      Don't forget, many of Mike's fights were won with his ring walk, before a punch was thrown. A great example of that was in June 1988. You could virtually see Michael Spinks knees trembling, he wouldn't look at Mike. Hence, the fight didn't last the first round. You never see that now. That was down to Mike, his dedication, his discipline, and respect to his sport and the fact he strived to be the best.
      I honestly don't think you'll ever see any heavyweight boxer shadow box like Mike Tyson. That had never been seen before. The textbooks said it was impossible. That dynamisium, speed, accuracy, feriousness, and agility was thought to be beyond a muscular, well-built heavyweight. Then, Mike came and did it!

    There’s too many videos of tyson knocking people out.
    This though is great, great editing and music. Especially the part from 9 mins - 10 mins spine chilling .. well done

    This era of boxing was something else.. they were so much better than nowaday boxers. Like, there is an entire world between old school boxers and modern boxers. They are monsters, full of violence and power. Nowadays they look more like influencers than boxers, they getting soft because of all those social media and shit. It's hood vs disney world fr.
    Also, we don't give enough credits the the trainers of mike tyson. They are genius. They understood everything correctly and give him the best advices possible. A monster driven by genius.. it make a legend.
    And Cus D'amato literally is a D.. it say everything you need to know about this king.
