- Miranda had rashes all over her body and horribly itchy legs. The doctors had no idea what was going on because Miranda’s blood tests kept coming back normal. Eventually, a lump arose in her neck, and it caused excruciating neck pain. Miranda decided to go get the lump checked out, and after a series of tests, Miranda was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
In this cancer vlog, Miranda opens up about her chemotherapy side effects, dealing with hair loss, and the grief that comes with remission.

I had ITCHY LEGS! - Miranda | Hodgkin’s Lymphoma | The Patient Story
• ITCHY Skin to Lymphoma...
When she said her therapist passed from cancer during her period in therapy, my heart just broke. Bless her & that sweet therapist who wanted to continue helping others until their last moments. What a testimony ❤
Lol
What's so funny? Stupid.
itchy arms and legs is a powerful give away for this type
of cancer, thanks for sharing
ITCHNESS IS NOT A COMMON SIGN FOR THIS.
Yes it is along with night sweats
@@susanmonty791 No it can be any type of cancer or more likely auto immune condition
@@nathalieforest8497 or kidney disease, allergic reactions, etc
Those pictures she showed definitely didn't look like eczema or rashes. These people are in denial. They think that if they don't go to the hospital it's not going to confirm the disease. But they are still slowly dying. Lying to yourself is the Antichrist spirit.
I wish The patient story” would do follow-ups
Thanks for sharing ur story it’s so touching. My Sister is a cancer survivor🙏 she had non-Hoskin lymphoma she went through chemo radiation and other trial treatments till they finally told her she needed a bone marrow transplant or she only had four months to live, which I was blessed to be her donor. They test us siblings first and I was the only one that was her match and I feel so blessed that I was able to, help her🙏it’s going in 8 yrs and she’s still cancer free thank God 🙏❤️I’m so glad u are a survivor🙏❤️
Stage 2 Hodgkins survivor here, too! Glad you’re doing well!!!
I am also stage 2 survivor of HL
These stories are very encouraging for your audience. Thanks for sharing!
Always ask for blood platelet test to rule out cancer or find out. Cancer. they were running mine all the time, but I didn’t have cancer. My husband had it.he died from multiple lymphoma cancer it’s a cancer 🥲🛐🕊️🌈🦋🌈💖🕊️💙
Chemicals in the environment. Everywhere.
What a beautiful human, inside and out.
I hope your remission remains and your health improves. You are one strong and brave lady.
Miranda is very intuitive . She was able to figure out a great deal of what she was going through , getting in touch with feelings and honestly and openly talking about her feelings. .👍
Oh wow. Almost everything you said was true for me too. I’m in remission from breast cancer. (2 surgeries, chemo, 30 radiation treatments, 5 years of Letrozole) I didn’t colour my hair again after it grow back except for highlights once after6 years. Now I’m 10 years out from my main treatments. The feeling I got when I realized that there would always be someone to take my place in treatment was devastating. Many people I have known who had cancer when I did and after, have now passed. What got me through it all was my daughters and Jesus. I had many prayers answered during my treatment and after. I thank God every day for both the good and the bad of every day living.
I pray for your complete recovery. You're very strong. God bless you ❤
Your story really touched me. I lost both of my parents to cancer, Pancreatic and Lymphoma. I have a lot of conditions and feel I won't be surprised if I end up with cancer also. Whenever I'm going through a phase of itchy skin or an enlarged lymph node I watch it closely. So far so good. Sending you and your lovely family positive vibes for a beautiful future.
Ma'am you certainly have been through a lot. You are so brave & empathic with lots of wisdom. I wish you well & enjoy many years in front of you. Bless you.
Very well told. Wishing you all the best.
Itchy skin was one of my symptoms for sure. They’ve actually become dark pigmented spots now. Everything she said, I thought mine was from the Lulu
Tights I wore. And I was drinking more recreationally that year leading up to it
My friend's daughter only was 12 when she was diagnosed with Hodgkin's.. her son.. a tumor (benign) on his spine all in the same year.. her two brothers both passed from cancer.. leukemia on one.. he was already stage 5 when someone actually checked, her other brother died of bone cancer.. the past 6 years... Her daughter has been in remission for a year and a half now.
Sending love and positivity from Manchester UK ❤
Remission is just that. I was diagnosed with NHL in DEC 2018. My NHL is in remission but not curable. I did not feel guilty I felt blessed because many were way worse than me
what a beautiful soul 💖
🙏 ❤️ 🙏
For You
Always & Forever

❤ We are so proud of you, Miranda!
Such a beautiful person!! Thankyou for sharing.❤❤😊😊😊
Thanks for sharing your story. I’m a 30-year HL survivor here!
You are a wonderful human being. All the best to you. I will pray for your continued healing........Tammy
I’m a long-time survivor of breast cancer. I don’t really understand survivor’s guilt. My surviving has nothing to do with anyone else’s survival or dying of their cancer. It’s not as if there’s a finite amount of people who can survive, and if I survive someone else won’t. And one’s loved ones and medical team WANT us to survive, so there’s no need for guilt. We’ve done nothing wrong. There are plenty of reasons for me to feel guilty about, but my still being here isn’t one of them. I hope you’ve stopped feeling guilty. And many people don’t ever get a cancer. Should they feel guilty that they haven’t gotten cancer?
I had a MRI two years ago nothing was found by the er intern. I had covid and pneumonia this year made certain I switched me Drs because I fainted twice . They found a AVM condition .by the best Neuro Dr He was very kind said my condition could be fatal .I get to go into mass general for more test in july.im.trying to remain calm
My hubby had an AVM in his brain (they can be anywhere in your body). He had surgery 28 yrs ago and he's doing fine. Just know yourself and if you have symptoms get help for them. My hubby also waited a few months for surgery he found out right before Thanksgiving and had his surgery in January.
I have had intense itching for a couple of years now! I mention it to any doctor I see … no one seems concerned, my primary said I would be losing weight , my itching is on shins, head and mid back, only slight faint rash that comes and goes
Same here!! I mention it every where, and they are like hummmm?

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not
perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be
saved.John 3:16-17
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:Acts 17:30
I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.Luke 13:3
Jesus died for you on Calvary’s cross and rose again to offer you a pardon for all your sins. His love reaches you
just as you are. If you turn to Him in faith, you will know the forgiveness of your sins and have the assurance of
eternal life.
Jesus said, “him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.” John 6:37
I am praying without ceasing for you Miranda!♥🙏🙏
Much love from Northern Ireland!
Just out of interest did you become B12 deficient with the omeprazol and acid stuff?
Miranda thank you so much for sharing your story. Like you, I knew something was really wrong. I recorded my story with The Patient Story, so if you get the chance check it out. (Rachel Evans from the UK). I also had the same rash, also made worse with alcohol like you. I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma in September 2022. How long was your hair when you got hair extensions? You have inspired me to look into it 🤔
Thats what i had on my legs no one listen i told them i think this is a sign i have cancer sure enough about 8 months later diagnosed with stage 4 adenocarcinoma no small cell lung caner, dr tried to say eczema or scabies at the beginning they didnt do no testing until i ended up sick with pain in my chest n they found huge mass that was nov 2021 but now im dying there is no treatments for me now im on hospice
@sarhamills - oh, gosh, I’m so sorry to hear your story - I will pray for a peaceful end for you & that you will be at peace & free from your pain & earthly struggles - God bless you 🙏
❤ big hugs…words are useless
@@Melody-285 im alittle scared about dying afraid of pain n i really hope i die in my sleep so i dont know that i died
@@sarhamills584 I have lost my mother & my boyfriend recently & on their last day, they were only conscious for a little while in the morning of the night they passed - after that, they slept - we gave them morphine from Hospice & they both passed peacefully without regaining consciousness - please talk to your Hospice nurses & make sure your family or caregiver knows what to do if you are at home, like my loved ones were - there was no trauma, they just slowly quit breathing - I held hem both, talked to them & told them it was ok to go - I will pray for peace for you, sweetheart, at the end 🙏
