    🥄RECIPE:
    Ingredients:
2 cups de-stemmed strawberries (you can also use frozen)
    1 cup water
1/3 to 2/3 cup sugar (see note)
    Instructions:
    1. Place all ingredients in a small or medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
    2. Turn heat down to maintain a simmer. When the strawberries begin to soften, mash them with a potato masher.
    3. Simmer for a total of 15 minutes, or until the syrup thickens somewhat.
    4. Pour through a fine mesh strainer, and press on the back of the fruit pulp to extract more flavor.
    5. Pour into an airtight storage container. Cool to room temperature and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
    📝Notes:
For a tart strawberry syrup, use the smaller amount of sugar. For a thicker, more stable syrup, use the higher amount of sugar.
You can use white sugar or organic cane sugar. Maple syrup or honey should also work.

I did a post for Pioneer Woman a while back about how to make an omelette, but it’s probably not the kind you’re looking for since it does get a bit brown: www.thepioneerwoman.com/food-cooking/cooking-tips-tutorials/a90026/how-to-make-an-omelette/
