Early Human League is the best Human League.
Their first album is a masterpiece.. very underrated
DARE is a work of genius though.
Travelogue is pretty good even though Phil was disappointed with it apparantly at the time.
And Cabaret Voltaire too.
Imagine Phil doubling up with the remaining as an encore to a tour, the original big singles 'Boiled' and ' Life Kills ' ?

I'm 49 years old. I was seeing Bono's Surrender show in NYC and this song played before he came out. I absolutely love it and can't stop playing it

Me too! All the Brit bands from the 80s used their real accent when singing. After the 80s everyone covers their accent with an American one. It's weird.

Reproduction and Travelogue were both ground breaking LPS . Early Human League were just superb
I envy anyone who was lucky enough to see the early Human League live. There are a few decent audio bootlegs (I especially like their sparse version of 'Perfect Day'), but it must have been great to have been there, hearing it in person and with the slide projections and lighting.

Such a huge fan of the early stuff like the dignity of labour e.p and reproduction. So many great records from them in the early days. They were kinda ahead of their time really so people struggled to understand what they were doing back then. I loved kraftwerk and Moroder so for me they were a logical step in the right direction. I would love to see an original line up tour.

Horrifyingly underrated album. Don't get me wrong dare is my favourite album ever but people always praise travelogue. Reproduction beats it for me.
