Nah, no disrespect, and his comeback was amazing, but it’s the fact that he had to make a comeback. Yes, he was amazing in the second half, but the point is that Lawrence is inconsistent right now, which is why he’s on the list. It’s not that he’s bad, it’s just that he’s inconsistent.
Allen's not overrated, he's just not as good as Mahomes like people want him to be. But people also don't give him enough credit for how good he's really been because of Mahomes' achievements are so grand. Here's a few of Allen's: 1. Tied Dan Marino for most TD's in a QB's first 5 seasons while ALSO... 2. ...being just 7 yards shy of Cam Newton's record for total yards through first 5 seasons (that's insane btw) 3. Only Josh Allen & Drew Brees have had back-to-back seasons with 40 TDs & 5,000 total yards 4. Tied with Mahomes for most TD's in first 7 playoff games 5. For 18 years before Allen, Bills only made the playoffs 1 time. They've made the playoffs 4 times since he's been there, and won at least 1 game in each of the last 3 6. Had the highest share for team's total offense of any player in the league with 85% I mean there's countless more, those are just the ones I remember. Problem is he plays in the AFC & in the Mahomes era. Mahomes putting up 5,000+ yards and 50+ (or nearly 50+) total TDs, while also winning SBs, is going to make him #1. Will he make mistakes? He's asked to do everything, and ends up forcing the issue sometimes (hence why he's not as good as Mahomes). But he's still historically GREAT. @@Firethetruegamer no he isn’t. I mean Kirk is terrible on prime time and he relies on Justin Jefferson to bail him out. Plus we can’t forget that Geno smith was a beast in college before getting drafted to the worst team when it comes to developing quarterbacks. I mean the Jets picked Zach Wilson second overall and destroyed his career. If Geno was put in a better situation like he is right now, he would’ve been a top 10 quarterback for years.
@@Firethetruegamer right. because cousins has done so much with all the seasons he has been a start. geno just led a team projected to be a bottom 3 team to be a top 5 offense and made the playoffs. cousins has done what with a team projected to be nfc conference conteders? nothing.
I don’t see how Geno qualifies as overrated. He was a formerly underrated player who put up a great season and we’re all waiting to see if he can do it again. I feel like this is basically saying that acknowledging a player was underestimated means they’re now overrated.
I agree. Geno always had talent, but was immature and made bad decisions. He calmed down and improved greatly by understudying Wilson with the 49ers, and might well have a good run of several years now.
If you watched the Vikings this season and how they struggled after Cousins tore his Achilles you would not say he's overrated. Jared Goff took the Lions to the NFC championship team so I wouldn't call him overrated either.
Overated goff: wins a game with a broken thumb, makes it to the SB gets blamed for the loss but cooks drpped two TD passes. Goes to the awful lions, misses the playoffs with a winning record. Brown, Jason Kelce, Lane Johnson, Devonta Smith, James Bradbury, Haason Reddick, Josh Sweat, and now Deandre swift. Still everyone says that jalen hurts carries smh
Derek & Kurt aren't "holding talented teams back" Derek's been the loan bright spot more often than not in Oakland/Vegas & Kurt has been routinely let down by defense
Raiders have given up 28-35 points on average. Imagine thinking a qb is bad because he doesn’t throw 5 touchdowns a game and even that does not guarantee victory.

Derek, 10 years in the league has only been to the playoffs 2 times, and lost both games significantly. You can blame the organization all you want, but great QB’s overcome team deficiencies. Look at Joe Burrow, he got that sorry Bengals offensive line to the SB. Carr has the most 4th quarter losses when his team is leading, then any other QB ever. Carr is like Tim Tebow, but a much better thrower. They both are popular, because they get support from the Evangelical community. Otherwise Carr would have been out of the league a long time ago.

I’m sorry Lamar is way more over rated than Josh Allen. Yes bills have fallen short of the Super Bowl but at least they have been to the AFC championship unlike Lamar
Dak vs QBs ranked “better than him” 1 Justin Herbert 2021 (9-8)- worse record (9-8, 12-5), missed playoffs, more ints than Dak (Herbert 15, Dak 10) 2022 (10-7)- again worse record (10-7, 12-5), blew a 27-7 lead in his very 1st playoff game and went home. Yet there’s no “one and done” narrative surrounding him🤨 Josh Allen 2021 (11-6)- worse record (11-6, 12-5), less yards AND TDs than Dak (Allen 4,407 36tds,4.449 37tds) w/ 50 more pass attempts, worse completion% (63.3, 68.8), more ints than Dak (15,10) more total turnovers (20, 18) 🤯 2022- led NFL in turnovers (Allen-19, Dak-16), 🤯, worse completion percentage (63.3, 66.2), never hear y’all say “I’m worried about the turnovers”😂 Trevor Lawrence 2021- (3-14), 1,008 less pass yards than Dak despite 6 more attempts (596, 602), worse completion% (59.6, 68.8), 12:15 TD to Int ratio vs 37:10 for Dak, Trevor literally had more ints than TDS…shameful, 71.9 rating to Dak’s 104.2 2022- (9-8) only 2 more passing TDs than Dak despite 5 more games played (25-23), worse record (9-8, 12-5), through 2 playoff games he got 5tds 5ints and a 1-1 record…yall would bury Dak for that, yet again not a narrative surrounding him either about turnovers, hasn’t done nothing Dak hasn’t done but ppl believe in him to win…laughable but I ain’t laughing Jalen Hurts 2021 (9-8) only 3,144 pass yards Dak had 1,405 more, only 16TDs to Dak 37, TD to Int ratio 16:9 vs Dak’s 37-10, bounced vs Bucs 1st round of playoffs 2022 (15-2) he basically matched Dak rookie passing stats with a loaded roster, only 3,700 pass yards and 22tds, Dak missed 5 games and threw 23tds, also Dak would never get credit for 22tds 3700 yards…
Respect For This Video. You'll Piss Off Alot Of These Fans Lol And They'll Try To Argue For Their QBs But MOST Of The Guys You Called Out Needed To Be Called Out💯👏
Right both of them are going to be fine. I have a lot of respect for Herbert watching him compete last year at Arrowhead with cracked ribs. He never gave up but unfortunately came up short to my Chiefs.
I'd be very careful about putting Purdy in the overrated category. He's only played 9 games and only started in 5. He was a rookie for crying out loud, the last pick of the draft mind you and he didn't really pass the eye test with scouts. I don't want to hear about how easy Kyle Shanahan's system is, Trey Lance who was the third overall pick couldn't really do a whole lot in this offense and I think Purdy really made the most of being in this system. People make the same argument for Mahomes not being a great quarterback because of the fact that Andy Reid has a way of molding quarterbacks but take into account the Chiefs didn't go to five straight AFC Championships or win two Super Bowls with Alex Smith. As we speak, Brock is somewhere in the lab grinding it out preparing for this season and who knows maybe in the next 5 years, we maybe looking at one of the best quarterbacks in the league. That'll be a story, Mr. Irrelevant going on to become an elite quarterback and probably winning a few rings.
No way is goff overrated... he had statiatically one of his best years in the nfl... but despite this a lot of people arent sold on him and a lot of people have that as a knock on the lions
I wouldn't say Goff is overrated. I'd say he's rated where he should be. I've never heard anyone say Goff is Elite. He's above average in my opinion, he's smart with the ball and can make things happen. With that said, One Pride baby!!!
I know im gonna get some hate cause a lot of people think Mahomes is by far the greatest ever and makes no mistakes, and Mahomes is very good but he is overrated
The only names I agree with on this list are Dak and Justin. I've never once heard anyone call Carr elite, hell people joked that the Raiders going from Carr to Jimmy G is like going from Jimmy G to Carr.
Agree with everything except putting Jalen Hurts over Josh Allen. Josh Allen may be a tad overrated for the reasons mentioned but no way you can call him overrated and not say the same about Hurts.
it’s blatant ragebait, saying stuff that’s outrageous and straight up wrong like this gets people riled up in the comments and drives up interactions which RUclips sees as a positive and pushes their content in the algorithm. Pretty much the same thing people in sports media like Colin Cowherd and Skip Bayless do except guys like that are despised while vids like this are praised for some reason
Why do people keep saying every quarterback wins with Kyle Shanahan when the narrative was clearly that Kyle could only win with Jimmy G until last year.
Matt Ryan gave the Shanahan offense it’s best season statistically and an MVP. Also RG3’s rookie season in Washington and Matt Schaub, Andre Johnson and Arian Foster in Houston.
I am so glad they brought up Josh Allen. Because i cant stand how people say he is the next best thing. Like dont get me wrong he is a decent/good quarterback. But you go from being a possible bust in your first 2 years to the best of the best with a new head coach/scheme and an arguably top 5 wr. Thats more on them not you, yes he might havr gotten better. But not that much. A consider a top 5 qb someone who can be great on a team like Houston or Chicago.
When you say overrated in nfl your really mean, the one who actually make the team win. It's not a negative as your actually good. The trash QB, are trash.
so dumb 💀 y’all call daniel jones overrated when he’s had a bad team and staff every year and once he has solid staff and improves he’s apparently overrated. there’s QBs way more overrated like hurts (most overrated QB in the league), DJ is literally overhated if anything. Herbert and lawrence being here is also wild bruh
Do you think Tom Brady was just a competent quarterback, a system quarterback, a quarterback that can read defenses fast I think the difference maker is coaching at Chief's, Eagles, 49ers & Bengals
Overrated is such a subjective term. Every quartback in the NFL has their fair share of doubters who claim they're overrated, including Mahomes, Allen, Herbert, Rodgers, etc. A smarter way to phrase this video would've been QB's who tend to "fall short far too often".
brock being over raided is crazy " it doesn't take a lot for a guy to look good in kyle shanahans offense" did you see what happened in the NFC championship dude they got there butts handed to them
I see some of him being overrated like going to the playoffs like it can be a fluke but if he returns to form like last year then he fs underrated bc tps loves to take advantage of who they are or were instead of their play
That's crazy, I didn't know that not being able to score on multiple drives after going up 27-0 (which caused the jags to be able to come from behind and win) was not on the quarterback
@@mosestar6127 It doesn't, but people act like he's the 2nd coming of christ when his team is, on paper, one of the best in the NFL, with absolutely nothing to show for it. He puts up numbers for the regular season, then they do nothing in the postseason.
Definitely Justin Herbert and Derek Carr are the most overrated. Justin Herbert’s career record is 29-31. He has excellent players at offensive line, RB, wide receiver, as well superstars on defense like Bosa and Mack. Yet, since he has been in the league, Herbert has the most losses in one score games, in which he has had a chance to win or tie at the end. He has 5 of those this year in 11 games. As far as Derek Carr, you said it all in the video.
In Carr's defense, he doesn't play defense. Even when Brees was putting up insane seasons from 2014-2016, the best he could manage with that godawful defense was 7-9.
Geno is not overrated he hasn't been talked about enough. Herbert is a bit overrated but it's mainly his coach holding him back. Also only 2 of those int's were actually Trevor's fault; the ref missed a dpi and his receiver dropped a pass. I think Purdy deserves his respect.
It's a condemnation of the NFL that a merely "good" QB isn't good enough. And how is Rodgers not on this list? He is usually considered the first or second best QB in the league and has fizzed out year after year when it counts...

Dude literally had one good season and everyone is like ohhhh yeahhhh best ever when Eagle fans we're pissed for taking him a couple years back😂😂
His first starting season 🦅 why would he be on here when he played better than every qb except Mahomes
@@o4tw382 brother he had one good season on a super team and we still don't know if that is his true form or not
I thought tps might actually finally have a good list until he got to Geno, man. I was getting too excited 😔
kirk is better than geno
@@Firethetruegamer no he isn’t. I mean Kirk is terrible on prime time and he relies on Justin Jefferson to bail him out. Plus we can’t forget that Geno smith was a beast in college before getting drafted to the worst team when it comes to developing quarterbacks. I mean the Jets picked Zach Wilson second overall and destroyed his career. If Geno was put in a better situation like he is right now, he would’ve been a top 10 quarterback for years.
@@Firethetruegamer people like u is the reason why kirk is overrated
@@Firethetruegamer right. because cousins has done so much with all the seasons he has been a start.
geno just led a team projected to be a bottom 3 team to be a top 5 offense and made the playoffs.
cousins has done what with a team projected to be nfc conference conteders? nothing.
@hunterart he is. Like tps said he isn't anything to get excited about.
Ranking every Oline from worst to first
I don’t see how Geno qualifies as overrated.
Jared Goff is underrated
Overated goff: wins a game with a broken thumb, makes it to the SB gets blamed for the loss but cooks drpped two TD passes. Goes to the awful lions, misses the playoffs with a winning record. Has a winnings fcrd avrgs over 4000 passing yards. I feel like people are blind. Jackson gets 1 mvp and has never reached that ever agin
A bad defense makes any team’s quarterback “overrated”
How is Dak Prescott on this list. Over half of the Cowboys’ fans want to trade him!

Jared Goff is underrated at this point

You can’t call Dak overrated if y’all rank him as a “mid tier qb” 😂
I think Jalen Hurts is overrated because of how many superstars he has on his team and how much of the spotlight is on him. For example: Darius Slay, A.J. Brown, Jason Kelce, Lane Johnson, Devonta Smith, James Bradbury, Haason Reddick, Josh Sweat, and now Deandre swift. Still everyone says that jalen hurts carries smh
same
Derek & Kurt aren't "holding talented teams back" Derek's been the loan bright spot more often than not in Oakland/Vegas & Kurt has been routinely let down by defense
Raiders have given up 28-35 points on average. Imagine thinking a qb is bad because he doesn’t throw 5 touchdowns a game and even that does not guarantee victory.
@@Ash-lf6to defense has nothing to do with his bad play, worst Red zone QB since she’s entered the league, hasn’t had a 30+ TD season since 2015, hasn’t thrown 4 TD’s in a game since 2018.. it’s not unreasonable to expect the highest payed player on the team to produce.. he hasn’t
Bruh like
No one talks about goff except for nfl social media
So im pretty sure hes underrated
That’s how I feel about carr lmao don’t nobody just go and say OMG Derek carr is so good 😭 he properly rated
The fact that you guys put Josh Allen on this list shows me you don’t know what the hell you’re talking about
Fax dude u are absolutely right
In my opinion Josh Allen is overrated considering that he's only been to one AFC title game while Mahomes and Burrow have already been to Super Bowls.
This list just lost all credibility when you put Herbert and Lawrence in there. Herbert is breaking records with a subpar OLine and average weapons while Lawrence just helped lead his team to the playoffs and a come from behind win over the chargers.
Bros grasping for straws
I swear I saw this list a week ago from a site saying they used ChatGPT to generate it so either they used ChatGPT or plagerized it l.
herbert is phillip rivers 2.0
@@barrysanders3358 Herbert is way better than Rivers. The only reason I could agree with you is that the Chargers will always let their QB’s down.
@@barrysanders3358 Herbert is ,miles better than Rivers at everything and I love Rivers but as a Charger fan that has seen every snap from both guys. Lol he's acting like Goff barely put up decent numbers dude had 29 tds to just 7 picks threw for 4,438 yards wich is 6th in the nfl and had the 5th best QBR
I hate the cowboys as next as the much guy but saying dak is overated is cruel. People talk ab him like he's awful now and I still think he's around top 10 area. I mean statistically he wasn't much worse than rodgers and I never hear anyone debate him being a top 5 qb
Jared Goff is not overrated, literally no one hypes that dude up
Justin Fields is getting massively overrated with people saying hes going to have an mvp caliber season, hes not
Bro is living under a rock. The chargers lost the playoff game bc of Staley, and your judging Lawrence and Herbert off of 1 GAME. Like Jesus it was their first playoff game. Geno led the Seahawks who were supposed to be dog to the PLAYOFFS. Derek Carr was not the reason the raiders sucked. It was their defense. Josh Allen had 42 TOUCHDOWNS and has led the bills to the playoffs for 4 straight years. Stop living under a rock

While not having a top 10 WR group in the league. St. Brown is fantastic, but Chark and Jamos were missing.
burrow only threw 6 more tds, why isnt he overrated
Geno is so damn overrated. He has one good season, and people all of a sudden call him great, forgetting how shit he was in New York. He’ll crash back down to Earth in 2023
I don’t think Kirk is overrated, most of the blame for Vikings loses tends to go to him warranted or not
I’m sorry Lamar is way more over rated than Josh Allen. Yes bills have fallen short of the Super Bowl but at least they have been to the AFC championship unlike Lamar
Only one QB has beaten Mahomes twice at home. Overrated, my pimply rear end.
I think Lamar Jackson needs to be on this list
Dak vs QBs ranked “better than him”
1 Justin Herbert
2021 (9-8)- worse record (9-8, 12-5), missed playoffs, more ints than Dak (Herbert 15, Dak 10)
2022 (10-7)- again worse record (10-7, 12-5), blew a 27-7 lead in his very 1st playoff game and went home. Yet there’s no “one and done” narrative surrounding him🤨
Josh Allen
2021 (11-6)- worse record (11-6, 12-5), less yards AND TDs than Dak (Allen 4,407 36tds,4.449 37tds) w/ 50 more pass attempts, worse completion% (63.3, 68.8), more ints than Dak (15,10) more total turnovers (20, 18) 🤯
2022- led NFL in turnovers (Allen-19, Dak-16), 🤯, worse completion percentage (63.3, 66.2), never hear y’all say “I’m worried about the turnovers”😂
Trevor Lawrence
2021- (3-14), 1,008 less pass yards than Dak despite 6 more attempts (596, 602), worse completion% (59.6, 68.8), 12:15 TD to Int ratio vs 37:10 for Dak, Trevor literally had more ints than TDS…shameful, 71.9 rating to Dak’s 104.2
2022- (9-8) only 2 more passing TDs than Dak despite 5 more games played (25-23), worse record (9-8, 12-5), through 2 playoff games he got 5tds 5ints and a 1-1 record…yall would bury Dak for that, yet again not a narrative surrounding him either about turnovers, hasn’t done nothing Dak hasn’t done but ppl believe in him to win…laughable but I ain’t laughing
Jalen Hurts
2021 (9-8) only 3,144 pass yards Dak had 1,405 more, only 16TDs to Dak 37, TD to Int ratio 16:9 vs Dak’s 37-10, bounced vs Bucs 1st round of playoffs
2022 (15-2) he basically matched Dak rookie passing stats with a loaded roster, only 3,700 pass yards and 22tds, Dak missed 5 games and threw 23tds, also Dak would never get credit for 22tds 3700 yards…
This is how you know TPS is running out of ideas

Herbert and Lawrence are not overrated . Hurts definitely Goff too
Lawrence is extremely overrated he’s not that good
Right both of them are going to be fine. I have a lot of respect for Herbert watching him compete last year at Arrowhead with cracked ribs. He never gave up but unfortunately came up short to my Chiefs.
Goff is not overrated, did you see the Lions draft talk?
Shut up.
@@Alex-sf9bo lawrence stinks. Herbert is good
No Lamar Jackson on this list? That mf is more overrated than everyone on this list.
Geno is not overrated the Seahawks were expected to win 4 games last season Geno came in and brought us to the playoffs! He is not overrated
The fact that Josh Allen is on here and RB Jalen Hurts isn’t is the real blasphemy here. Unsubbing.

Agree with everything except putting Jalen Hurts over Josh Allen. Josh Allen may be a tad overrated for the reasons mentioned but no way you can call him overrated and not say the same about Hurts.
TPS, I use to remember you guys making good content know it seems like y’all are haters that just post something without thinking much about it.
it’s blatant ragebait, saying stuff that’s outrageous and straight up wrong like this gets people riled up in the comments and drives up interactions which RUclips sees as a positive and pushes their content in the algorithm. Daniel Jones Doesn't have to be overated but giant fans are over Over Hyping him He's gonna be better But not as good as they say
Trevor is a future Hall of famer
No cap
Rodgers, Watson, Kyler, and Russ are missing from this list.
There WAS an argument for Allen heading into 22, but heading into 23, no way is he top 3 and it hurtz me to say lol
Goff is a good qb bro
As a Raider fan what talented teams did Carr hold back? Our teams and coaches have been trash as fuck for 20+ years now except for the 2016 season
TPS just make horrible content and instead of “TPS” they should be called “TST” Terrible Sports Takes. They are Raider Haters
Geno being overrated after a full season as a starter is wild
Do you think Tom Brady was just a competent quarterback, a system quarterback, a quarterback that can read defenses fast
I think the difference maker is coaching at Chief's, Eagles, 49ers & Bengals
I want to see Burrow succeed without all those weapons.
Dak is usually a "B-" qb with flashes of an "A-" quarterback...
Lol how the hell is cousins overrated? I've never heard anyone say anything good about him.
Brock isnt overrated. The guy is just way better than expected 🤷🏽♂️
I think Purdy is. I think Deebo Ayuik Kittle and CMC carry him but thats my opinion

But what about the ten most underrated quarterbacks
Half the dudes on this list will end up on that one, I promise you
In Carr's defense, he doesn't play defense. Even when Brees was putting up insane seasons from 2014-2016, the best he could manage with that godawful defense was 7-9.
Keep up your fantastic videos, God bless
Geno is not overrated he hasn't been talked about enough. Herbert is a bit overrated but it's mainly his coach holding him back. Also only 2 of those int's were actually Trevor's fault; the ref missed a dpi and his receiver dropped a pass. I think Purdy deserves his respect.
Indeed purdy showed all that he is not irrelevant
No way you said Josh Allen and Goff are overrated! Geno isn’t either, this list is very bad
Love your video TPS and keep up the great work
Hurts could turn out to be great but he has had one good year.
Hurts and Jackson are overrated as well.
It's a condemnation of the NFL that a merely "good" QB isn't good enough. And how is Rodgers not on this list? He is usually considered the first or second best QB in the league and has fizzed out year after year when it counts...
