Yes that is correct. aActually Kalari is specifically designed to purify the nadis and these are running within the fascial matrix so both the fascia is conditioned (length and strength) and the nadis purified through practice.
Sir today has been the 3rd day of me practicing the lesson 1, this morning I did Part 1 for the 3rd time, so should I practice the part 2 at evening as I wish to learn it soon. I can do Warm Ups and Ashva Vadivu but stuck bit in Kicks. Can I do Kalari Lessons two times a day at morning and evening as it would be a great form of workout and I can practice more at less time.🙏🙏

Good question Samuel. Northern style is the best way to start Kalari as it builds all the attributes in both the physical and energetic body. These are precise psychophysical conditioning exercises designed to prepare the bodymind for later training. This is how we have created this course. Hello Sir I am trying the exercise to touch the ground infront centre and back, but I am not able to take it back more than 2-3 inches. and also struggling with the balancing while the leg catching and kicks. Please assist. Thanks in advance
Deepesh, Good to hear from you.. Please remember it will take time to make changes in muscle length, so don;t push too hard nor worry that the progress is sometimes slow. When reaching to touch the ground - if you cannot reach and touch , reach 'towards' the ground and only so far so that you can keep in balance. Gradually this will improve. With the lifting of the leg in the lohars try to relax the body and kick NOT so high. You want to be thinking to swing the leg not kick as high as you can. Does this help? Really helpful. Appreciate your effort very much. One doubt Sir, do any of these movements cause an issue for people with hypertension (high blood pressure) or those who take medication for the same. In some yoga books it's been stated that some of the asanas, especially those that involve the head going towards the ground kind of are not to be practiced by those with high blood pressure. As most of the movements here involve the head going towards the ground, would like to have clarity on that whether people with high BP should not do this or so. Thanks in advance Sir.
Good question. Please take care with all the forward folds. Also please note - the the exercises you see can be done in a gentle way or on a much stronger more powerful way... Please take all the exercises easy. Do.not push and take rest if you need. :) Adam

Good question Amrita. The way I was taught (and the way I teach) is to not put emphasis on the breath in this early stages but simply to let the breath be natural and to allow it to sync with your movements. Try in this way and let me know how you feel. Adam

I will say two things in response to this comment. 1 - This is an adapted version of Gajavadivu for learning - later we go deeper. 2 - most school do this pose WRONG. Most sit too far back such that you could very easily be pushed over. One must not simply make indian squat in Gajavadivu - instead SIT BACK as if 'reaching' for a chair and then lift the chest up and forward - this pulls the diaphragm into eccentric muscle contraction and THIS is what make the posture so effective as it strengthens ALL the core ;) Adam
