@@HandmadeCreativeChannel GREAT JOB !! I want to do that but with a compound telescopic jack to get more distance. I'm a retied EE that likes to MOD EVERYTHING down to a washer. BURNS MY A$$ !! My buddy down the street says,"why are you always trying to changing things". Cause they JUST don't make it like they USE TO !! If they made it like they were SUPPOSED to,i would NOT have to MOD it ! Mechanically and/or Electrically. But I'm like you,it's fun making something BEND to your will and have a masterpiece at the end of the day.😎
What was the greese that you used on your way bars? I would like to test it to see if it was greese the military used back in WWll. Thanks and that is a great set up I think I will make one of them for my work table that is in my shop.
You have no imagination. :-) Commercial versions are available. $$ There must be a use & a market. There's more to DIY than just saving money. I say kudos to the builder even if its never used.
It has a lot of range, can be used for pressing in bearings, bending metal pieces, in fact, a great substitute for a press if you have a smaller job to do. I like it.
i am guessing, but i'm thinking 2 options. the first is a pick up for the fluid to evacuate the space since the jack is out of orientation and the second is to allow something very close to what i have just written. the base of the jack is such that when the pressure valve is closed, fluid pumped can only enter the bottle pressure vessel which lifts the jack. when open, the ball valve is not held securely and the oil flows into the reservoir. the booklet that came with my jacks state to use horizontally, you turn the pump arm to the sky and it will work correctly, not sure why he added the tube.
I really enjoy your videos and love the vise because it is also portable if so desired. I would have liked to see you attach the long pump rod to the original jack as I assume you welded it onto the pump pin it came with out of the box. Your editing is great and the video moves right along with no boring phases.
Thanks for your wonderful comment, I appreciate it! The pin is not welded, I made small plates that clamped to the jack piston and long rod. Sometimes in ours you think the camera is shooting, but actually you forgot to play the recording. That's why I didn't show it in the video, I apologize. I try as much as possible to minimize redundant shots and make it interesting. thanks again🤩
im going to share with with a buddy, he is always pressing bearings on small engines and this would work well for him instead of the 800 pound hydraulic press that he cant take to a job sight. normally he uses sockets and a hammer to seat or remove bearings. (customers cringe) edit. if you had a larger version of this and put your fire wood in it, it would burn a lot longer. very cool! thumbs up
Or, or, and hear me out now, you COULD just use a vise. I know. Crazy ain't it? Nah, I'm just picking with you. But, a vise is a little quicker. And requires a LOT less time and effort.
not bad, except the force on the vice jaws are actually only as strong as the base plate of the jack. while likely strong enough for most work, you are not going to get the full capability of the hydraulics because the base will likely deform, then the rams will come out of alignment
Had you used an air over hydraulic then your air compressor could do the jacking instead of you doing the jacking leaving you with more jacking time for yourself! Thumbnail was not in the video, so I considered that False Advertising and False Advertising gets Thumbs Down from me!
I love: #1 the fact that nothing is overly precision #2 one drill does almost all the drilling and de-burring #3 welding is poor but good enough for this project, looks like 023" wire #4 no worries about splatter on the work table making the project a bit uneven #5 Makes me wonder why I have $1000's and $1000's of dollars of tools. LOL
What’s the point of having a Jack with a fan blade other then click bait? Deceitful practices aren’t going to make you any friends and certainly not going to give you a favorable reputation either! I won’t be subscribing to your channel for this reason no matter what you come up with?😅
You didn't get it then,it IS click bait! Linus from Linus Tech Tips has proven that if you DON"T capture an audience within 10 to 20 seconds, UP front in a VID, more than 80% of the viewers will leave, BY YOU TUBE numbers !
Wtf, you spent all that time making a vise?
Yes, this is my hobby! I spend time for a lot of things, because i love to do that.🤩

Very good, well done my Friend🙌🍀🍀🍀🙂
Thanks mate 👌👍🍀
🎉🎉😢
That is one of your best
Thats a lot of work for a vice.
beautifull work
Kár, hogy ilyen igénytelen a kivitelezés, pedig elég jó az ötlet!
Me gusto exelente trabajo, una prensa hidraulica de mesa, serviria para un taller de macanica o desabolladura.

Cool 💡
Thanks 🍀👌👍
It's pretty cool
Brilliant innovative design 👏
😮
Well done.
Q: how does the pump handle work?
Could not find one reason for needing something like this, other than to remove and use the jack.
What do you use this for?
EFD620G. It be great to have a vice with that kind of power

GOOD JOB
I think I'm going to try that
Congrats on making the cool vise. I don't have a welder, so i can't make-one..
That's ok, you don't need one. Nobody dose, this is stupid.
Now to make a sturdy work table. 😊
can I buy one of these from you ?
Nice! You should put your effort into building a sturdier work bench ;-/
So what was the fan blade for ?
Click bait?
@@gordonkersten1327 I looked for that but couldn't find it. I hate click bait.
That’s why I watched the video , to find out
Great job👏👏👏👍. Waiting on the vise 2.0 in Pneumatic configurations 😉
Parabéns pelo vídeo. Bem explicativo👋👋
Hi, Great Video. I don’t really understand what the Copper Tube you put inside the Hydraulic Jack does? Otherwise it turned out Great.👍

awesome job sir and nothing wrong with the welding either👍
Some people has much time on their hands
Some guys just love to be on their own making stuff (to get away from their wives).
Excellent
Vice but a press would be perfect nice job my friend
Get a harbor freight air over hydraulic jack and the hydraulic foot control. You probably have an air compressor already
The jumps helped, lol
Keren sekali .

why bother with the clickbait thumbnail?
Ide yang sangat bagus
I skipped through to the end, and still feel like I wasted my time. This video could've been 15 seconds long, instead of 30 minutes.
If you wanted to just take a picture,Yes. Not for someone else to see HOW and WHAT to do?
Świetny jest ten cały pomysł z tym lewarkiem i i tym imadłem pozdrawiam twórcę tego filmiku 👍👍👍👍👍
Guess I missed it, where is the spring for return?
There are things that don't depend on me. Camera had damaged the file with that moment
So WTF is the propeller/fan for?
You may have Good ideas, but zero
Safety issues the ways I seeing you
At drill areas be careful on that. Safety is first above all.

IT WOULD HAVE BEEN MUCH CHEAPER TO GO BUY A VISE AND GET A BETTER ONE IN THE END .
Good luck
what was the point in taking the jack apart he didnt reverse anything so it was time and effort wasted
To do what ?
I think you need a bigger welder. Thats going to break. No penetration, looks like chewing gum.

28:10 That is not the wood cracking!! It's those welds!!!
Ha ha ha ☺️
now make a sturdy table to use the vise on.

I don’t think that four hold-down bolts are enough.
They're enough. These bolts Which holds the hydraulic jack are simply to hold it in its position. There is no tension there.
I just want to know what the fan was for. Then I figured it out, It's just click bait
Might I say Siri you’re welding skills are remarkable!!!!
Ha, you don't know anything about welding!!!
Mig welding is childs play!
great idea, only welding is miserable for you.

That's why I hate C-clamps ,so much turning before they hold...like this vise, pumping to eternity.

No das ninguna informacio ni medidas para ver en un telefono.
It would have been a fantastic job if not for the lousy chicken scratching
Note to self: NEVER steal from a Chinese farmer. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That is a lot of work just for a vise ... Hell just go buy a vise.. 🤭🤭🤭🤭 LoL
This is diy channel my friend 🤷🏻♂️
You wasted an entire day making something that already exists. "Amazing".
And is 5 x stronger ! 'AMAZING"!
Why?
What kind of freakin' welder is that?
Migatronic rallymig 161i
Without measures this is usless
Why bother with all that nonsense.
