- I wanted a new robot lawn mower,, and I wanted one that did not need the guide wire all the way around the garden. The cheapest one I could find that did this,, is this Einhell Freelexo CAM 500. It is almost ½ the prices of the next one,, so this one it became.

Morton buys a lawnmower to mow the lawn. Reality: 1) the lawnmower mows the lawn.
Expectations by Morton: 1) To little stuff inside. 2) To slow. 3) Needs to go faster. 4) Too careful. 5) No Bluetooth. 6) No Wifi 7) No phone connection 8) No firmware update. 9) Better software. 10) open source. 11) Tell it to go harder, faster less careful.
Morton, it's funny how you got annoyed it only does what it's supposed to. If it mows the lawn automatically does what it's supposed to, and doesn't get stuck once, you will have forgotten its existence within a week! Excellent video!

@@MyPlayHouse LOL this might actually be the only device that isn't designed to spy on you! The Chinese through the vacuum cleaner and IoT, the Americans, and ESISC through your phone and PC. Good thing we don't have girlfriends... 🕵
I have researched robotmowers like this and the cheepest "good one" with gps seems to be the Segway i105e (8000dkk), although its sold out untill August in Denmark.
That would give you an app and let you setup a zone its allowed to mow within.

It has grown on me,, and it does mow the lawn..
How does it stop from like... going over to someone else's lawn and mowing that, if you have a neighbour and no real barrier between your lawns? I've been looking into one of these myself.
Then I think you need the magnet 🧲 band,, they are available in longer,, a bit expensive, if you ask me 🤔
It's not a lawnmower, it's a lawnmover. It just moves around on the lawn and that's it.

You need a husqvarna, stiga, or mculloch lawnmower 😀 they are made in the same factory. Just use a good brand and the problems will go away.

@@MyPlayHouse Haha is it already 10 years?! times flies :) Thank you for still making so entertaining and fun videos for us :P But as long as it does it job lawn that is good but it's not fun that it is stupid and slow as you showed in the video.. i have a roborock S5 max for some years now that still does a good job cleaning.

If you already had a perimeter wire for the old mower why not just get an older style wired one?
I've had a cheap McCulloch (Husqvarna) one for years. Slow, stupid, and simple for the win.

The old one has been falling apart on me,, I haven’t showed it all,, but it was more broken than running,, at the end.
