I know this is an older video, but I just purchased this for a 2024 Tundra Limited. However, I got Carista prior to the Tundra and connected to my Audit Q7. When I got the Tundra two weeks ago, the app won't let me connect to a second vehicle event though the Carita website said my subscription could be used for multiple vehicles. Anyone know how to use this two vehicles? Thanks.

Great video thank you. Is there an option to stop the electronic parking brake from engaging when the driver door opens while in gear (e.g., backing up)?
Have you tried disabling the automatic parking brake feature at the button? To do so turn the vehicle on, with foot on the brake press and hold the parking brake button in for 5-10 seconds. You’ll get a notification that the automatic parking brake feature is disabled. To turn it back on, pull on the switch for 5-10 seconds. Not sure if this’ll help but that’s how to turn off automatic parking brake.

Nope, at least not on Canadian trucks. I found a few options not showing up for Canadian trucks. I am curious if I stopped at a USA dealer if they could change the region code and if some other US options would show up?
Question on turning off seatbelt chime. If you turn it off, does the light still blink on the dash? I need to disable the back seat alarms because my dog weighs 75 lbs and sets it off. I tried connecting all the belts and the issue remains.
Hey Kevin!…a little of both, it does make it slightly quieter, but honestly I don’t think the noise they funnel in is all that loud…I did turn it off, as much as I liked the “growl”, I just couldn’t stand that it was fake…haha…I may make a video comparing the inside of truck with it on and off to give people a better comparison instead of trying to describe it, hope they helps!
This one is driving me totally nuts. The tailgate opened from the button in my pocket. According to the manual, you need to go to the dealer to change it. I want to set it to longer or not work from the fob. The tailgate dropped onto my garage door and then my garage door drug up and scrapped the trim on the top of my tailgat the first night the truck was home and in the garage. Is it an option?

Weird question for you sir. im getting the jb4 today and ofcourse ill be installing it this weekend. Before i do that, if I were to get the Carista, my concern was what would happen if I disconnect the JB4 from the odb while the box plugged into the system and then swap it with the carista. Will it throw codes ( since the jb4 is plugged into the engine? ) or will it be ok and i can plug in the carista and do what i have to and then just plug in the jb4 .
Is there a way to change the 5 start up screens on the digital gauge display in the 1794 so each time you start the vehicle you get a different screen.
Hey Mike!…unfortunately the module doesn’t support live data for this truck yet…I show it in the video, if you click live data option you get a message sayin it’s not supported for out tundra (yet anyway)

After you make the changes you want, this can be removed from the obd port correct? And once the settings are saved, if you subscription expires or something, does it go automatically to stock?
Can you change the setting for the remote start with this device? Toyota is the only car manufacturer that has the setting for the remote start to shut the car off when you open the door to get in the car after you have turned it on with the remote start, very annoying.

Mine absolutely turns off at times during stops...engine shuts down and goes completely silent...if I didn't see the "Ready" lit up on console letting me know the hybrid system is on you would never know truck is running

Yes sir, the light in dash will still temporarily blink, but the sound is gone!
Does turning off the fake engine noise make the interior cabin quieter or does it just change the tone of what you perceive to hear?

I left mine on on my 2024 Trd Pro, at first i was like you didn't want it, but i did like it, the actual exhaust note is not bad
The option I want the most isn't a Toyota option. Wonder why rolling windows up with key fob or app is not an option. That would be very useful.

If you lock the truck, the tailgate does not open. Well, at least mine does not.

Why would you cancel the toyota subscription? With this unit could use your phone to start the truck after your subscription expires?

you can use the app Torque or similar to do this with the dongle
The live data would work if you started the truck. Ignition on won't give you live engine data like boost and temperatures etc.
