Oh no! I was initially hoping I could unlock CarPlay in the BMW but allas not, getting the digital speedo was enough for me though. The compatibility checker for this one seems to work pretty well so hopefully you know what you're getting in advance. I’m not sure what you have to do with Haldex but if you need to check temp or reset anything I guess this will help

Do you have to leave the dongle plugged in? Once the setting is changed, does the app need to be connected to keep it stored?
No, you make the changes then remove the dongle - it reprograms the relevant ECU for each option.
