I’ve installed led light strips under the hood to be able to see the engine bay in the dark. Super bright now. Don’t understand why Toyota didn’t put any lights under the hood. Vids are awesome as usual!

Great stuff as always. I've got a new TRDPro coming mid-next month. I've had JB4 on a Audi - and they are really awesome. Question - should we also get the "front active spoiler" delete as well? I guess there can be an error code sometimes because of it. They also have a Flex-It Flex Fuel Kit that would also enhance ability to know what your fuel actually is.

Thanks for the video. Quick question…also have a trd pro and I’m trying to remove the rear 90 degree map sensor which is a huge pain in the butt. Is there a tab that needs to be depressed or does the connector just come out?
No prob, thanks for watching!...yea there is a tab, it's a pain to get to but once ya feel it it's not too bad...you're basically going at it blind, so that's what makes it tough 😡

Did you have trouble getting the rear harness to click?
I didn't, mine was good...but I have heard of it happening...if it doesn't snap into place, all ya have to do is file the plastic down to allow it to click into place...JB4 actually has a video showing exactly what to do, super easy...hope that helps!
I have this guy in my cart ! Just doing some final research before pulling the trigger . In your opinion is it still worth it ? Now that its been a few months of ownership? I already have keiths cat back exhaust, afe intakes and charge pipes so i really dont see the appeal of the Toyota tune they released today. Figured id ask you sir.
Yea absolutely, I freakin love it!…honestly the only reason I would consider selling it is because I’m sick of payin for 93 octane gas 🤣…I do a lot of driving so that extra $ on gas is brutal, but other than that I would highly recommend it!

Quick update. Everything installed and is running great ! I did a comparison with Map2 vs stock on sports s+ mode. I was gettin 8.5lb stock boost and around 13 - 13.5 tuned , so far its been awesome. Lets see where this goes. I saw Jb4 also had a throttle commander that can piggy back with the JB4, any plans on installing that ?
Does it leave a footprint that might screw with the warranty?
Not if you just remove it to take the truck in for service. If you set a check engine light, then the freeze frame data might give it away. They might see data that does not make sense like lower boost but injector duty cycle at 80%...that would be a give away. But there is no record of when the JB4 was plugged in or removed.

Have you had any malfunction lights after driving it with jb4 tuner . I got a hybrid malfunction secondary collision break system kicked into safe mode then I go to dealership and hear it could be tuner,tint or lights or because it was 40 miles till E soon as I said something about tuner they said we can clear codes and still same issue I honestly think it’s the electric E brake sometimes jerks while driving you know if I should remove tuner before going back to dealership? No way it’s what’s making this happen 😢
No codes or malfunction lights for me, even after all this time…I leave my JB4 installed at all times, my dealer knows it’s there and never says a word…in fact they actually ask about it…haha
This is off topic, but my 2022 Tundra Limited trd, has me so annoyed by one thing. I live in snowy Idaho. The stupid front collision sensor constatnly shuts down due to snow covering it. It is on the front grill for peat sakes. It says to go out and clear it. Thats not happening while Im driving down a one lane snow covered road. It is a flaw in design. Any ideas?
Hey Steve!…I’ve noticed this as well, the sensor is definitely more delicate than on my 2020 Platinum…annoying but I haven’t found a way around it, so I just clear it whenever possible

Did you have a check engine light come on at all? I just installed my jb4 last night. 2022 tundra TRD pro hybrid. As soon as I started the vehicle it threw code P0237 and placed the truck into limp mode. When I revert to the factory install it is fine. Maybe I have a defective jb4?
