I miss when every season meant a full new map, two ops with new weapons and 4 seasonal skins
They will keep blaming the pandemic for long wait times and a lack of content. Their profession is well suited to working remotely no excuse

This is why I deleted R6. I was a player since the very first season but now they are just milking a dying cow!
They need to make a new game completely
Siege used to be pretty busted back then. We didn't have op bans. Ranked was still in beta up until Phantom Sight. Sight misalignment. Secure area and hostage RANKED. Trash maps with trash sites. Etc.

Oh boy, the season is only having minor map reworks instead of a new map. I'm sure the Siege community is going to love that.

@@huskyuu everytime we got a map rework or a new map, it is constantly banned in ranked either way because this toxic ass community is too mich of a crybaby to actuslly learn new maps.
I have played the reworked Skyscraper exactly twice in Ranked this season and last season I have played Chalet a total of 0 times.

Yeah you would think the new explosive drone would be super heavy? Surely heavier than a twitch drone so I think that would be a sensible change.

Moving drones whilst dead is honestly going to be game breaking I think.
When that hits the test server Ubisoft will see that it will be OP. Also their reasoning for implementing it is beyond stupid

But sometimes some bad ideas can happen like lion but I think now they are doing a better job mainly with melusi's nerfs and goyo
in high level play a lot of people still have drones left I would hate having people that are dead being able to impact the game to that degree

The repick option for offense is maybe the biggest game changer imo.
-The droning after death thing is broken to both sides.
-And the choosing ops during prep phase should be revised to just changing loadouts.
Yea I really dislike those changes. The first one is just ridiculous. The second one is also dumb so defenders are gonna be forced to go mute, bandit, jager, etc every round because attackers will just be able to switch
These two changes honestly have me worried for the future of this game if they go ahead with them. I thought the reinforced roof hatch change they contemplated was bad (luckily they didn’t do it) but this is on another level
We could just wait and see how it will actually play out instead of disregarding the changes immediately.
I think what they need is to sheos attackers the room at the start if the match. The fact that attackers don't know but defenders do means attackers have to plan with hypotheticals in mind rather than solid knowledge. This new change is meant to help that, but it also lets attackers counter the enemy team entirely.
The only thing that can even remotely try to justify Flores' excess of drones is that his gadgets are timed and cant stop. Regardless, he just blew Twitch out of the water and she better be getting some kind of rework or adjustment to make up for it. The only thing she has over him is no timer, and she can shoot cams in the ceiling (but hey, Flores' drones can jump on a shelf and maybe get the cam so scratch that)
He is going to be nerfed a few weeks after release. They always release ops op as shit so people have more incentive to buy the season pass and r6 credits

@@DeadTongue To be fair, when the C4 drone was mentionned people didn't think of having a timer both for controlling and detonation. The idea was just "drone goes boom" which Matimio denied as being way too strong.
The fact that it has a timer and low controling options is what somewhat makes it balanced.

Mailbox: I feel like the Gonne-6 could have been an under barrel attachment like Buck's skeleton key for some attacker weapons taking the place of a fore or angle grip. Then give it two charges.
nah. that would just be way overpowered. imagine jackals A.R. with an underbarrel 2 charge explosive that completely wrecks utility. defense would just be stupidly underpowered and siege wouldnt be funny anymore

I just want audio glitch and hit registration fixes, but I guess that is a lot to ask for. I mean, the games only been out for six years.

I really wanted CROSSAVE. I switched to series x and my main account is on PS4 it's a level 283 account with bunch of elites and other purchases. They mentioned about CROSSAVE previously but they didnt say anything about it in this reveal

@@FnG_Anonymous They've mentioned it, but there is no way crossave is happening before Year 7. You'd probably have to wait until at least then for it, or year 8 if they don't prioritize it.

As an old siege player who has dropped the game a few years ago, I gotta say I miss the old siege. And even if I wanted to try and get back into the game, r6 has changed way to much for it to feel like the same game. The charm is gone.
I’m very disappointed that we don’t have a new map. New operator looks cool though.
Making new maps is useless for this game now. They can't even rework an old map without this toxic community perma-banning them for the entire season. No one would ever play and learn the new map, then complain it sucks and that it should be removed

Honestly, if they rework the maps that we already have so that people will actually play them, then that's as good as a new map to me. I just don't want to play the same 4 maps anymore.

Some of these changes are honestly laughable.. "We're going to let you drone even if you're dead!" Because we need to worry about the maestro AFTER we've killed him.

If it becomes problematic that the Attackers can still drone after death, I think Ubi could add a battery function to the drones, so they can be driven for only 30 seconds after death, then they remain stationary.
If they are sticking to that after death thing this would be a good idea for balance
Decent idea but it just doesn’t make sense tho cause the operator is dead so how the heck are they gonna be able to still control the drone but ig Ubisoft left the realism realm along time ago so it seem like a good idea.
The rework for Border,House,and Themepark are probably the most useless things I’ve ever seen in Rainbow

I'm very happy with the Goyo rework, his gadget is going to be much more handy when you can place the small box in hidden locations.
Mute and mozie rise are in the horizon to the point they both get nurfed
I'm pretty sure defense can also control drones and cams like yokai's or maestro cams when they're dead
They can't drive a yokai or mozzie drone around tho.

Technically the offense side would have personnel outside while the 5 ops are infiltrating. So I get why offense can drone when out.
I think the changing of ops during prep will be exciting but moving drones after death will break the game honestly such a huge advantage imagine people will just plant both of their drone and if your in a 1v1 you’ll have 1 attacker aswell as 4 moving drones on your case
They said that finka will be able to self revive. They also said that you could melee maestro cams to remove their vision unless maestro opens the window and the same with mira.

I had the same feeling about border from the moment they revealed it. Doesn't seem like a complete overhaul, but only tweaks here and there. As a "casual" player, I just wanna say that I like this very much. It doesn't force me to actually re-learn a map.
What Matt didn't mention was that bulletproof cams will be able to turn and can shoot an EMP dart to disable attacking gadgets and drones, but will come in a later season of year 6
I thought the using drones after death was for offence and defence because they showed Echo and Maestro using their Gadgets after dying
And on defense you should be able to do it too with like echo and such

I think other than the number of c4 drones every single change is welcomed IMO as it changes the way the game is played and it will be fun.
I love how they are doing season 3 with a general update to multiple maps. A few maps are slightly problematic but don't need a full rework like coastline, bank, and villa.
