I just wish that we could have one-hundred courses in a world! I was working on one with that in mind before the update! But they’ll probably update it with new caps, and nothing else. I don’t see anymore course parts being added
All other Koopalings: "We are the elite members of the Bowser Army and we will kill Mario once and for all of our allies!" Lemmy: "heehoo bouncy bolls boing boing"
Every Koopaling is unique, and they slightly change when they have wings or when they receive damage! Here's the list of all differencies for all those things for people that want to use the Koopalings: *Base Moveset:* *Larry*: Jumps, and use his wand to attack. *Iggy*: Run forward and backward and use his wand to attack. His projectiles are faster than the other's. *Lemmy*: Roll on his ball, and create bouncy balls with his wand. *Wendy*: Jumps and create rings with her wand. *Morton*: Jump to do a ground pound that paralyse Mario if he's on the ground and create shockwaves. Also use his wand to attack. *Roy*: Hide inside the ground. If he reappears on the ground, he use his wand to attack. If he reappears on the ceiling, do a ground pound that paralyze Mario if he's on the ground, then use his wand to attack. *Ludwig*: Flutter Jump, and use his wand to attack. His wand create three projectiles. *In SMBU*: When they are damaged, they do a shell attack similar to Bowser Jr., going towards Mario. *In SMB, SMB3 and SMW*: When they are damaged, they retreat in their shell and jump one to three times while in their shell. *Differencies with Wings:* *Larry and Wendy*: Jumps Higher *Lemmy and Iggy*: Moves by jumping on the side instead of rolling/running. *Ludwig*: Flutter Jumps longer, and shoot two times while he's in the air. *Morton*: Can stay in the air a little by faking Ground Pounds just before doing a Ground Pound. *Roy*: - When his head appears out of the ground, he'll go back into the ground and he'll reappear elsewhere. He does this a few time before finally going entirely out of the ground and attacking Mario. -When he appears on the ground: Jump out of the ground and shoot while staying in place in the air. -When he appears on the ceiling: Can wait a little while in the air before doing a ground pound. *Differencies after receiving damage:* *Larry, Iggy and Morton*: After being hit once, fire two times with their wands instead of one, and three times instead of two after being hit twice. *Lemmy*: Similar to Larry and Iggy, when he has been hit once, he'll throw a magic ball three times instead of one, or five if he has been hit twice. *Ludwig*: after being hit twice, he shoots five projectiles instead of three. *Roy*: When Roy go into the ground, his head go back to the surface, then after a certain amount of time his whole body go out of the groud. Each time Mario hit Roy the time between the moment his head go out of the ground and the moment his body go out of the ground is reduced. *Wendy*: The limit of rings on the screen at the same time increase of one each time you hit her. (The limit is one ring for one Wendy at the beginning. If a Wendy is hit one time, the limit for this Wendy become 2. If you hit her again, the limit for her is now 3. When the limit is reach, a ring will disappear when she throw a new one, but it disappeared only after a short time, not immediately. So for a very short time there can be 4 rings on the screen at the same time for one Wendy. So, if you put 7 Wendy, hit all of them 2 times, and they shoot a fourth ring each at the same moment, you can have for a very short while a maximum of 28 rings on the screen at the same time.) *EDIT: Other things:* -Larry, Iggy, Wendy and Lemmy weigh the same, and their shells are the same size. (Junior's shell is also the same size) Morton, Roy and Ludwig weigh the same and are heavier than the 4 other Koopalings. (They are the weight of a Junior) Their shell is also bigger. (And they share the same size of shell) -When stacked up on something, in a cloud or in a Clown Car, the Koopalings only use their wand. When hit, they fall and the ground and act as usual if they were onto of another enemy or in a cloud. But if they are in a Clown Car, they retreat into their shell and do their shell attack while in the Clown Car. -Roy is the only Koopalings with a different behavior he something is stacked on him: He won't go into the ground, and he will just use his wand to attack while jumping left and right similarly to winged Iggy and Lemmy. He jumps higher if he has wings. Also, about Roy: If he is in a Clown Car and take damage, he will then fires two then three times instead of one similarly to Larry, Iggy and Morton.
@@catgamer4263 I didn't test that with every Koopaling, but I believe they just use their wand. (So, the same basic attack for Larry, Iggy, Morton and Roy, while Ludwig shoots 3 (or 5) projectiles as usual, Lemmy throws Balls a'd Wendy Rings) And when they're hit, they retreat into their shells and start spinning while staying in the Clown Car. (Lakitu Cloud works basically the same as the Clown Car with two major differences: The Koopalings only move left and right, and not up and down, like any other object in a cloud, and they fall of the cloud after being hit once, and then fight normally, so they do their normal Shell attack and never their Clown Car Shell Attack.) ((Additionally, they also only use their wand when they're stacked on top of another ennemie, and fall of and do their normal shell attack when hit, like Bowser Jr.))
"Major" could mean just not more than one item added at a time, you could argue that the first update was "minor" by comparison to the other two. I was hoping they add Ninji levels with a new course part each time there's a new Ninji course, showcase them while they shadow drop dlc. I wish though they added more, we could really use a block that allows Mario to pass but not enemies and vice versa. or a speaker block to give a story to our worlds, or disco shells, or dolphins, or penguin suit... even with two games and a third update onto the sequel, the Maker portion is teeming with untapped potential.
There will never be a block to only allow Mario to enter because Luigi, toad, toadette can’t enter which makes levels unfair and since when had dolphins existed in Mario games
Flame_Balloon Gaming I searched undefined game up and it gave me a first person indie game and star petal arts is asking for too much by only enemies can pass in this and only Mario can pass in this which is unfair for toad Luigi and toadette if speaker blocks were added, people could say the F word in them which is bad for children and why would anyone add dolphins from a first person indie game that cost a dollar?
One thing that wasn't mentioned here but is useful, the "hats" are not affected by gravity and can be places in the air. When collecting a hat you already have, your uses reset.
It also can be annoying that they can "float" inside blocks. So it'll pop out of a question block and fly up into the blocks above it, so you need to add extra space, but If you add a parachute the item will react with physics and fall to the ground like a normal power up
Right. I agree with your analysis that it's probably just bug fixes in patches from now on but at least we still have quite a few Ninjis to look forward to.
> People want world update > Nintendo: Okay > You can't play worlds by code, just find them randomly > One Super World per account > You can't name your worlds Oh, Nintendo....
@@TobiasBergdorf While we're at it having one alternate palette for each theme, and adding an underwater based theme; Change hills/mountains( they can be annoying to deal with.) Having one extra stage per world, a special pipe that could connect two worlds, a Big/Pow toad house that maybe you could have an item in( possibly could also make it look like a p switch palace.), and a mini level like the challenge rooms from smb3(1 per world). These are mostly things I would want in mm3 along with the option to expand the map make screen a little etc. Still love the super world maker though it's really fun and there are still quite a few options available.
I don't think it's nessecary to create a new ID system just for Super Worlds considering there can only be one per account, instead you use your Maker ID. That's probably also why you can only have one Super World per account too.
Although this may be the final massive update, hopefully we get some smaller ones along the way. All I want from this game, at it's current state, is some QOL (quality of life) changes. I would love to be able to switch between the 4 classic styles, and 3D World without having to restart. There's many way to do this, and you can still keep most of the 3D World items unique to that game style. (For example, the new box/mask items, can be the substitute for shellmets in the other styles). That would be huge for the game.
@@xian2themax Well there are some solutions. Clear pipes dont have to necessarily be unique to 3D world, they could perhaps be brought over to every style. Beat blocks, well that's a bit more tough as they are more unique, but I'm sure there are similar items in NSMBU game that they could bring over. Also tracks should already be in the 3D world style, I have no clue why they aren't.
@@cubeco I really wish for some smaller power up updates. Like how they used to do it for SMM, but just one thing instead of three. Maybe the Ice Flower/Penguin Suit can be a variant of the Fire Flower?
Some stuff on koopalings: Lemmy is a great support to add to any of the others Iggy is basically faster Larry but shoots less often Ludwig has a phase 2 Roy goes to to highest ground on screen (for example he will go on top of semi solids instead of bellow them) Morton's ground pound thing is considered as fire, so it activates bombs. Roy will not return to his original spot when he goes underground Roy will also disappear if there is no other ground on screen besides the one he was spawned at
If you don't have many kooplings in your level then placing lemmy so that Mario can't reach them and they are immobilized, then their projectiles work as great obstacles, can work in speed runs, and can be combined with thing like claws and lifts. Excited to see Roy and Morton set ups. Ludwig is also quite a fun boss fight so interesting arenas will go a long way with him.
@@MarioFan587YT i meant like he would go above a semi solid instead of under it if the land is flat, he won't go to the total highest, just the highest where he choose to go
@@edgybubblegum6404 And your other facts aren't true either. If there is nowhere for Roy to go, he'll pop right back up where he already was. Secondly, he is able to appear where he already was even if there are other places for him to go.
Hey, speak for yourself! I like the Ice Flower, but the Super Acorn is my FAVORITE power-up from the New Super Mario Bros series. Frankly, I just can't believe it took so long to get into Mario Maker. You said it yourself: it's WAY cooler than the Propeller Mushroom.
4:35 that's not true. You actually can't roll while equiped with a wearable, probably because of the propeller box being activated by the same button. It's with all of the wearables though for some reason...
Fun Fact about P-Ballon: In Spanish the Word "Fart" is translated as "Pedo". You can now relate the Joke, Spanish Speaking Players can call the "Fart-Ballon" that makes sense at the end of the day.
Ice flower would be similar alternate to fire flower that works in a different way can freeze enemies which leads to puzzles, interesting platforming and could be used to create set ups that wouldn't normally be possible when combined with other course parts. It's also a really fun power up to use as well.
The world maker mode is basically a 90's/80's kid dream come true. I'm actually inspired to plan out major portions of my Super World, and I already have major course themes planned to some extent... ... I honestly hate the frog suit (I refuse to use the thumbstick for most 2D platformers, especially Mario games), but I want to try and get good with it, so I'm building courses to try to teach myself how the power-up works... but I'm only going to test with the D-pad. Any power up which doesn't need the stick to operate well is a tolerable power-up to me. Wish me luck. Maybe I'll try to make both the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles underwater level and the Battletoads underwater level, but actually enjoyable. ... I've somewhat relatively stopped hating on Nu-Soup, especially since the addition of the Super Acorn, and I'm actually enjoying making courses with it. Strangely enough, I *don't* hate the Propeller Suit anywhere near as much, now that I can enjoy some distance from it with the addition of the Super Acorn... and by enjoying distance, I mean I can make vertical Nu-Soup courses I'm actually inspired to make. ... The SMB2 Mushroom rocks the house down. So many enemies are now basically improvised lifts I can use and abuse to my hearts content (looking forward to Tobias doing an item breakdown). Picking up a giant Spike and throwing him at the giant Spike Ball he just horked up is actually amusing. I'm so glad Mechakoopas fly the way they do with wings. So much potential. ... Super Mario 3D World. Maybe now I'll actually try to make a challenging, but fun course with the new power-ups and hats...but such isn't going to be for a while. The game style still bores the absolute crap out of me. ... Koopa Kids? I love Morton, Ludwig, Roy, and Lemmy. Even more potential. ... Kaizo tech will have to come later, when I'm actually comfortable with the new power-ups. ... Anyway, I'm still trying to draw inspiration from other videogames to make new levels, but not as much since just playtesting is actually inspiring me to keep making. ... Looking forward to more videos. Laters.
World Maker singlehandedly brought me back in. I had only made 10 levels in my entirety of the game before, and I've more than tripled that in the few days since the update came out.
8:50 I've actually already created something with this concept! For anyone who wants to test It out... Name: *An excercise in evasiveness* ID: *J0N-YBR-KCG*
there's some people living in a timeline where someone at nintendo didn't think the damn propeller suit was better than the acorn suit for the nsmbu exclusive power up. and the update gets the ice flower. lucky them.
Nintendo not adding more updates to a game which isn’t even a year old is disappointing. I’m not mad, I’m disappointed. I mean, I would have loved a laser koopa clown car!
The ice flower would be cool but, it would probably be the most glitchy power up yet. The ice cubes could glitch stuff into walls, insta kill enemies after a freeze, hyper speed setups, and so much more. That's why I was happy they added the acorn suit more.
Haven't been able to play SMM2 recently due to my Switch's charging port being busted, but boy was this the update the one I was looking forward to the most, namely because of the addition of the Koopalings, which is something I've wanted since the original SMM for WiiU. Once I either get my old Switch fixed, and/or get a new OLED Switch, I'll definitely be returning to this game. I miss it...!
I always wanted the Acorn Suit over the Ice Flower. Both would be nice but the Ice Flower was very overpowered and would have been difficult to balance out. While the acorn suit is easy to imagine and implement in every level style. SMB2 Mushroom is also here so how it would work in Kaizo is basically the same as ice flowers
I told my cousin before Mario Maker 2 released that there would be a new World Maker mode where you could draw paths and add courses to them to make a world. Of course that wasn't there at the start, but then they added that.
With the dancing frog and the rainbow bridges, the space overworld theme seems like it fits a bonus world the best, unfortunately you have to have a castle.
Talk smack about the acorn suit all you want but it adds just enough variety to platforming to be a good addition, unlike some other propeller topped costume added 5 years prior >:( Penguin suit, ice flower, and blue shell when?
Not uploaded it yet (still want to do some testing/polishing) but I've already done a level using the Cursed Key (and will need 4 more for my Super World) - Basically using it how it's used in SMB2 itself - You delve into a pit (or jar in that case) and then need to get back out with the key. It's deliberately an easy implementation of the concept - It's intended for a World 1 in a Super World - but the basic concept feels decently fun to me.
Ningies actually represent the number of times the level has been played since being part of a super world I realized this because I had ninjis in locations that people hadn't made it to in my super world yet.
It seems like nobody in general thought the dotted line blocks were worth mentioning, atleast not in any other videos I saw about the update. Also I was kind of waiting to hear your opinion of world maker, since you mentioned the fan made one a ways back.
Mecha koopas also turn around towards mario after a few steps Its not very interesting, but still neat But the flying version is the only flying enemy I belive that interacts with blocks while flying *horizontally* in the original game styles
i mean i do think minor updates could be slightly more than bug fixes but if they add extra stuff in them i can only expect 1 or 2 new things per minor update or things from other game modes getting transferred to others.
I find it weird that a water world theme wasnt included considering, theres a water level theme I mean theres even a special animation for the castle being in the water, but I suppose the ground theme but changing all the tiles to water works well enough
Some things I would suggest if I worked at Nintendo: Make Bowser throw Mecha Koopas instead of Bob Ombs Add in a search system for Super Worlds instead of randomly choosing one or going to a Maker's profile. Add in some more Nintendo Power-Ups, like maybe a Samus Ball or a Star (For Samus and Kirby, obviously) Add in at least 1 or 2 new Sub Areas Ice Flower for like the billionth time Maybe add in a Final Bowser mode to Bowser. SMB would make him throw hammers, SMB3 could stay the same... SMW could make him stay in the air and change his movement every time he gets hit, and NSMBU could make a giant Bowser that makes it rain fireballs, fireballs go like the original SMB, and he would get in his shell for every hit. Make us not have to erase everything in our course when we switch to the SM3DW theme Add in a new theme, like perhaps a space theme or, the biggest one we need, a lava theme Fix the music to sound much better in the nighttime mode Switch the colors for the SMB3 castle and Airship nighttime and daytime as those are much much better looking colors Add in a new Style as it still says "Extra Game STYLES" and we haven't gotten one yet. I personally think Mario Galaxy had to be one as it has 2D sections. I know some of these are very minor, but I think the Final Bowser mode, the Sub Areas, Lava theme, Galaxy Style, Ice Flower, and Nintendo Power-Ups would be great suggestions
if they do add the ice-flower in a supposed SUPER MARIO MAKER 3, then i'd imagine it would be a variation of the fire flower available in all the main themes

All other Koopalings: "We are the elite members of the Bowser Army and we will kill Mario once and for all of our allies!"
Lemmy: "heehoo bouncy bolls boing boing"
Lemmy's power is balls, he has control of the entire earth, he just chooses not to destroy all so the other Koopalings don't get jealous.
Even more hilarious is his note block sound effect.
@baby Maharaja well they are his adopted kids, but also his generals
All the other koopalings: We're your worst magicians... Come and try us Mario...
Lemmy: hee hoo boingey bal
Wendy: bouncy magic attack go brrr
Every Koopaling is unique, and they slightly change when they have wings or when they receive damage!
Here's the list of all differencies for all those things for people that want to use the Koopalings:
*Base Moveset:*
*Larry*: Jumps, and use his wand to attack.
*Differencies with Wings:*
*Larry and Wendy*: Jumps Higher
*Lemmy and Iggy*: Moves by jumping on the side instead of rolling/running.
*Differencies after receiving damage:*
*Larry, Iggy and Morton*: After being hit once, fire two times with their wands instead of one, and three times instead of two after being hit twice.
So, if you put 7 Wendy, hit all of them 2 times, and they shoot a fourth ring each at the same moment, you can have for a very short while a maximum of 28 rings on the screen at the same time.)
*EDIT: Other things:*
-Larry, Iggy, Wendy and Lemmy weigh the same, and their shells are the same size. (Junior's shell is also the same size)
Morton, Roy and Ludwig weigh the same and are heavier than the 4 other Koopalings. (They are the weight of a Junior) Their shell is also bigger. (And they share the same size of shell)
-When stacked up on something, in a cloud or in a Clown Car, the Koopalings only use their wand.
Nice! What happens if they're in a clown car?
@@catgamer4263 I didn't test that with every Koopaling, but I believe they just use their wand. (So, the same basic attack for Larry, Iggy, Morton and Roy, while Ludwig shoots 3 (or 5) projectiles as usual, Lemmy throws Balls a'd Wendy Rings)
And when they're hit, they retreat into their shells and start spinning while staying in the Clown Car.
(Lakitu Cloud works basically the same as the Clown Car with two major differences: The Koopalings only move left and right, and not up and down, like any other object in a cloud, and they fall of the cloud after being hit once, and then fight normally, so they do their normal Shell attack and never their Clown Car Shell Attack.)
((Additionally, they also only use their wand when they're stacked on top of another ennemie, and fall of and do their normal shell attack when hit, like Bowser Jr.))
If Roy has a enemy on his head, he will hop around instead of going in the ground. That makes sense.

Morton's ground pound thing is considered as fire, so it activates bombs.
Roy will not return to his original spot when he goes underground
Roy will also disappear if there is no other ground on screen besides the one he was spawned at
If you don't have many kooplings in your level then placing lemmy so that Mario can't reach them and they are immobilized, then their projectiles work as great obstacles, can work in speed runs, and can be combined with thing like claws and lifts. Excited to see Roy and Morton set ups. Ludwig is also quite a fun boss fight so interesting arenas will go a long way with him.
Roy doesn't go to the highest ground, he goes anywhere he feels like.
@@MarioFan587YT i meant like he would go above a semi solid instead of under it if the land is flat, he won't go to the total highest, just the highest where he choose to go
@@edgybubblegum6404
That's not true either. I've had Roy appear under semisolids before.
@@edgybubblegum6404
And your other facts aren't true either. If there is nowhere for Roy to go, he'll pop right back up where he already was. Secondly, he is able to appear where he already was even if there are other places for him to go.
The fact that you mentioned ON/OFF trampolines can be overlapped with slopes saved a level I had given up on.
Thank you so much.
I mean, when would roll ever be useful anyway
Rolling into a block will trigger it. I know, pretty niche.
9:53
OMG!
You actually put the boss of my Monty mole level in this video?!
I..... I am honored...
He also called it fun and interesting.
Star Petal Arts that’s amazing
Fun Fact about P-Ballon: In Spanish the Word "Fart" is translated as "Pedo". You can now relate the Joke, Spanish Speaking Players can call the "Fart-Ballon" that makes sense at the end of the day.
10:19
“Or 7 iggy’s”
7 Lenny’s: am I a joke to you?
Actually his name is Lemmy
but you could have either.
7 Lemmy’s: am I a joke to you?
*are we*

SLH-HBW-9XF
Firstly, didn't realize that Tobias hated the propeller suit.
Secondly, why does everyone want the Ice Flower so much? I want to know.
Ice flower would be similar alternate to fire flower that works in a different way can freeze enemies which leads to puzzles, interesting platforming and could be used to create set ups that wouldn't normally be possible when combined with other course parts. It's also a really fun power up to use as well.
Ya and you know something new to have fun in the snow world.
Fun fact: Morton’s ground pound magic (Smb1, Smb3, SmbW) can light up Bob-ombs.
Thank you for the breakdown, sadly Nintendo probably won’t add any new things to the game, which is sad because we never got the ice flower.
10:18 One question
Why does EVERYONE get Lemmy and Iggy confused with each other?
They kinda sound the same. But I might just be stupid.
to catch the forkbal, you have to listen to the throw sound tone going downwards
"7 Iggys like the big brain level designer you are."
You mean Lem-
Oh. He already knew.
New Soup would actually be good if they had the Penguin Suit.
Slopes would finally get used.
Star Petal Arts They have been used since the game came out.
13:13 it reminds me of the super mario galaxy save file pick thingy
9:22
Quick Man's level can _definitely_ be made in SMM2 now. :D
8:50 I've actually already created something with this concept! For anyone who wants to test It out...
Name: *An excercise in evasiveness*
ID: *J0N-YBR-KCG*
I made one too, it's called And Make it Double, it not only has Phanto but also the Angry Sun to worry about.
S46 8PJ TYF
there's some people living in a timeline where someone at nintendo didn't think the damn propeller suit was better than the acorn suit for the nsmbu exclusive power up.
and the update gets the ice flower.
lucky them.
Tobias: patch 3.0 is the biggest patch to release
LAUGHS IN 1.0
SMBU is so unoriginal you can now recreate the entire game in MM2.
Feed Tobias your income
Minus some platforms, mechanisms/gimmicks, and enemies and even course parts isn't available
No you couldn’t....
Baby yoshis
HPR Stillwagon The courses are longer in Mario U then Mario Maker.
Nintendo: brings over Dotted-line Blocks
Trailer: *_ON/OFF Trampoline_* ✨👀
When you reach P-Speed, look at the frog suit’s eyes.
Don't forget that Nintendo added the best Retro video game song ever:
Smb2 (DDP) athletic theme
aw i'm sad i don't want to be the last major update for super mario maker 2 i want new update 4.0 instead ask nintendo ok guys, 3:01 😔
Hi my dude I just wanna say you’re vids are awesome and I can’t wait for future vids
Hey, thanks!
What thanks for replying no youtubers do that thanks that made my day!
Also, Spike Blocks in 3D World moves from Terrain to Gizmo.
10:18
You can have seven Iggies in one level
_shows seven Lemmies_
Keep in mind, though, you CAN have seven of Iggy.
@@tammieclifford5135 For maximum madness.
Great video, you deserve WAY more subs than you have now
How to get that costumes?
If it is the final major update I could be some minor update with good things but not as big as the things we have
10:18 I’m not no iggy
P B A L L O O N
Poot Mario
Play as toadette and let her bump around the screen and let the deviantarts commence!
Tobias: calls Lemmy Iggy
Lemmy: *am i a joke to you?*
NightCat28 But I would NEVER do that!
I love the baseball minigame!
9:54 koopalings are perfect for boss rush levels
I like they added the *BOOMER*-ang power-up
Sorry that jokes easily gets *OLD*
oh god i hate myself
Long time no see and wow 23k subs great work
I told my cousin before Mario Maker 2 released that there would be a new World Maker mode where you could draw paths and add courses to them to make a world. Of course that wasn't there at the start, but then they added that.
GUYS! THE MECHAKOOPA IS THE FIRST THING WITH 3 VARIATIONS
What about 3Dworld spike blocks? they have Alternating spikes, On state, and off state.
First course part in 2d styles maybe?
mushroom platforms lol
@Isaac SMM yes
Semisolid platforms are the first, actually. Sorry.
It's always such a treat when you upload. Thanks for all the content!
This means the world to me!
What about the SUPER world 😏
With the dancing frog and the rainbow bridges, the space overworld theme seems like it fits a bonus world the best, unfortunately you have to have a castle.
Man I want a mountain theme and a volcano that’s it man
My top 4 that I would like are Volcano Surface, Volcano Underground, Beach, and Fortress.
Talk smack about the acorn suit all you want but it adds just enough variety to platforming to be a good addition, unlike some other propeller topped costume added 5 years prior >:(
Penguin suit, ice flower, and blue shell when?
Penguin Suit's a bit better than the Ice Flower, since it can also throw Ice balls, while belly sliding faster than light.
@@beckam20382
It could be a variation, or maybe automatically turn ice flowers to penguin suits in water/ice stages
@@user-qd7zb4wm9b True.
You can have seven iggy’s...proceeds to show a bunch of Lemmy's😐
Why is it only the single player tag? It should've been anything not tagged as multiplayer vs will not be played in online.
nintendo:this is the finel update for mario maker 2
the extra slot in extra game styles: am I a joke to you
By the way, when wearing a wearable, for some reason you can't do a forward roll
The quality and effort of your videos really make me question how you don't have way more subscribers. You really deserve it man!
10:18 “Seven Iggys”
*Shows seven Lemmys*
I think they should add the making ability to turn a level around so you go to the left and enemies are able to have direction first moving changed.
Finally someone says It is the last magior update.
Nintendo: "It's the final major update!"
People: "BuT tHeY sAiD sOoN sO tHeRe'S aNoThEr OnE rIgHt?? MaYbE tHeY DiDn'T mEaN iT oR sOmEtHiNg"
Would restart from checkpoint be considered a minor update? ;_; :D
I feel like the only reason Frog Mario can run on water is to compensate for Super Mario Maker 2's lack of a Mini Mushroom.
It seems like nobody in general thought the dotted line blocks were worth mentioning, atleast not in any other videos I saw about the update.
Also I was kind of waiting to hear your opinion of world maker, since you mentioned the fan made one a ways back.
Mecha koopas also turn around towards mario after a few steps
Its not very interesting, but still neat
But the flying version is the only flying enemy I belive that interacts with blocks while flying *horizontally* in the original game styles
Thing about bullet bill hat hitting another one floating around. Namely doing so will recharge your flight time.
i mean i do think minor updates could be slightly more than bug fixes but if they add extra stuff in them i can only expect 1 or 2 new things per minor update or things from other game modes getting transferred to others.
I find it weird that a water world theme wasnt included considering,
theres a water level theme
I mean theres even a special animation for the castle being in the water,
but I suppose the ground theme but changing all the tiles to water works well enough
Very useful video! Thanks. 👌 Although the Bullet Bill Mask and Propeller Mask charges can be refilled by collecting one in mid air.
_gaseous clouds from an obvious position_
10:19 it's Lemmy NOT Iggy
Lol
you forgot that the new wearables can be recharged when you collect their respective item
Dang, watching this made me want mario maker so bad, I have so many ideas
I don't like the fact that only 5 courses per world , it would have been better with at least 10
What a great thumbnail!
10:18
tobias: or seven iggy's.
shows seven lemmy's
Some things I would suggest if I worked at Nintendo:
Make Bowser throw Mecha Koopas instead of Bob Ombs
Add in a search system for Super Worlds instead of randomly choosing one or going to a Maker's profile.
Add in some more Nintendo Power-Ups, like maybe a Samus Ball or a Star (For Samus and Kirby, obviously)
Add in at least 1 or 2 new Sub Areas
Ice Flower for like the billionth time
Maybe add in a Final Bowser mode to Bowser. SMB would make him throw hammers, SMB3 could stay the same... SMW could make him stay in the air and change his movement every time he gets hit, and NSMBU could make a giant Bowser that makes it rain fireballs, fireballs go like the original SMB, and he would get in his shell for every hit.
Make us not have to erase everything in our course when we switch to the SM3DW theme
Add in a new theme, like perhaps a space theme or, the biggest one we need, a lava theme
Fix the music to sound much better in the nighttime mode
Switch the colors for the SMB3 castle and Airship nighttime and daytime as those are much much better looking colors
Add in a new Style as it still says "Extra Game STYLES" and we haven't gotten one yet. I personally think Mario Galaxy had to be one as it has 2D sections.
I know some of these are very minor, but I think the Final Bowser mode, the Sub Areas, Lava theme, Galaxy Style, Ice Flower, and Nintendo Power-Ups would be great suggestions
Your videos are becoming really really well made
I have a Question. Why can't i pick up Keys in my Course? It's very Annoying.
You need a key door.
@@TobiasBergdorf oh, ok Thanks :D
I know a level that requires you to hold the cursed key it's called tha phantom cave
if they do add the ice-flower in a supposed SUPER MARIO MAKER 3, then i'd imagine it would be a variation of the fire flower available in all the main themes
Am I the only one who doesn’t hate the baseball game I perfected first try but I suck at the matching one.
